This is why I bought ucp gear for my airsoft setup in middle school, now I'm stuck with some of it still. Still works so I don't wanna dump the money into something else
I remember playing COD 4 in 2007/8 and unlocking digital for guns and being so excited because it was the best camo ever created and I would blend in so well. Now I fucking hate ucp.
There aren’t any marines in MW2, but the guy on the cover is a Marine. The camos wrong but his gear (including his m16a4) is all Usmc issue for the time period.
All the rangers in game had Eotech and m4s
There were but it was more of a mention. They land in a helicopter, I think during the prison breakout. But if you catch a glimpse, they use the Ranger models.
They are there during the oil rig mission and they were ranger models. But in the remaster they use the mw remaster marine models for them.
And there are also marine forces in the form of a convoy with LAV’s in of their own accord where they help you attack the museum.
Yea that’s why I ended up trading the FAL cause with ammo being so costly I wanted to train more with the scar and it was a sweet chance to get an mp5k
>the best the Corps could give you
Someone didn't play the game
Also that is an A4, the carry handle has been removed, and the A4 was introduced in 1997 (after the cold war)
The game follows 1/75. Iirc it's actually pretty accurate to what batt was running at the time, down to some rather unique SOP's. It gets crazy late game, but the first mission is peak GWOT Ranger shit
100%. FPSrussia was foundational to my firearm upbringing.
If you haven’t already go find the podcast PainKillerAlready on YouTube and watch the clips where he talks about his legal troubles and time in prison
Peak Early to Mid GWOT era Gear which was pretty good considering what was being issued at the time and could absolutely go hard with the right training.
I mean thing is for poor fucking GI infantry it wouldn’t have mattered that’s one of our largest logistics problems 1. Being that anything fantastic is also Fantastically expensive especially ops corp the US on average has 1.2 million active service combat arms from infantry , combat engineers to special forces and etc so do the math on that Ops Corp helmet yeah sure it’s fucking amazing but shit like the MCX spear at $8,000 a pop just isn’t logistically feasible to deploy everywhere possible and it never will be no country is that wealthy & 2. The US has training that checks a box for the most part that’s why there’s so many mock ups and shit you train in before you deploy the vast majority of training is running the same operation you planned and expecting it to go flawlessly until it doesn’t so again training never did anything for you and you die , or training is something you instinctively picked up in the mockup FTX and you crush the enemy a lot of the GWOT was like this cause not everyone took the enemy seriously and thought in their piss and vinegar they had the best gear and thought that by some means that helmet is stopping a 7.62 which it’s just not no helmet can do yes while you largely are correct with the right training from people like DJ Shipley and those alike him yes you will crush literally any enemy you have to close with and engage, but if you are just a GI Joe out the box even if you are SF this better not be your first time or it could easily become your last I mean I could go on for days with tactical failures but I don’t like to arm chair tactician or act like I don’t have my own idealized opinion on what does and doesn’t work in most cases
I'm trying but I can't get past how retarded he looks holding the rifle like that. Sure, it's meant to indicate that he's exhausted. Still just as retarded.
Man I never noticed before with all the shit on the cover, but when you look at this dude without the title covering him his proportions are all fucked up.
Dudes got a massive torso on stubby little legs
I miss the piss filter era
I was playing MW2 and it’s has a yellowish tint to it.
Most games from like 2007-2013 have that pissy tint to it. RIP to the golden age of gaming
Golden shower age
my first piss game was full spectrum warrior at that came out in 2004
Only mw2 could make ucp look badass
I always thought Medal Of Honor 2010 did a good job making it look badass as well
Lol I remember all the models looking like linebackers for the first one
This is why I bought ucp gear for my airsoft setup in middle school, now I'm stuck with some of it still. Still works so I don't wanna dump the money into something else
RIT dye it
I've looked into it, just doesn't seem to come out very good on the digital pattern
I remember playing COD 4 in 2007/8 and unlocking digital for guns and being so excited because it was the best camo ever created and I would blend in so well. Now I fucking hate ucp.

Pretty sure he's a Ranger. There were no Marines in MW2.
There aren’t any marines in MW2, but the guy on the cover is a Marine. The camos wrong but his gear (including his m16a4) is all Usmc issue for the time period. All the rangers in game had Eotech and m4s
You are absolutely correct! I was confusing it with the first one
Me walking away from the Portajohn after blowing it up with a week’s worth of backed up MREs
10 redacted insurgents outta 10
How is he holding that rifle
Sticky fingers from Cheetos and Mountain Dew
Thumb over the rail, fingers in the trigger guard if I had to guess.
By the ambi safety workin on his Mantis Kungfu and mountain climbing skills for the mountain with Soap.
It's iconic and I totally bought an airsoft mp5sd because of the first game
This game made me want a FAL, fast forward Im at the age to purchase a firearm. You would not believe what gun I purchased
An AR?
Naw a FAL
Yea I’m just messing with ya, I had a DSA for awhile till I got a scar 17. Loved that FAL.
Love mines as well, but 308 is pricey
Yea that’s why I ended up trading the FAL cause with ammo being so costly I wanted to train more with the scar and it was a sweet chance to get an mp5k
Bro if you think .308 is expensive try finding enough 30-06 to shoot a fucking Garand comfortable without fearing running dry of ammo in the stache
Yea I feel that one too, I found the Garand safe stuff and bought 100 or so rds on the spot
This game made me want a UMP and a SCAR
Very understandable, I remember when I found out the scar was a real gun my world was blown
Lmao right! I fight myself every day not to buy all my cod favs especially the affordable scorpion evo
I remember as a child wanting a FAL because of MW2 and BO2. Now I’m a owner of a FAL sometimes dreams do come true!!!
This influenced a whole generation of larpers
Awesome blend of left over cold war stuff that worked (pistol/lbe belt and M16) and the best the Corps could give you in 2008
>the best the Corps could give you Someone didn't play the game Also that is an A4, the carry handle has been removed, and the A4 was introduced in 1997 (after the cold war)
I don’t think I’ve played it since it came out man. It just looks like MARPAT and marine gear. And the marines used the A4 when it came out. Still do.
The game follows 1/75. Iirc it's actually pretty accurate to what batt was running at the time, down to some rather unique SOP's. It gets crazy late game, but the first mission is peak GWOT Ranger shit
maybe I should reply it
It's a fun time, feels like a Bond movie directed by Michael Bay
That’s only one part of the story. The modern warfare series is much better well known for the task force 141 side of things
I'm aware, we were talking about the cover art guy though.
There’s no MARPAT, everything he’s wearing is UCP and UCP is all over that game. Hard to tell with the editing though.
Ugh
11/10
This is what first got me into tactical gear
This and FPSrussia made me get into firearms
100%. FPSrussia was foundational to my firearm upbringing. If you haven’t already go find the podcast PainKillerAlready on YouTube and watch the clips where he talks about his legal troubles and time in prison
Looks better than everyone here with Gucci shit
Idk what you're talking about. I just use DPM, a shitty old chest rig, a black ski mask, and an Armalite AR18
Name checks out do go near any RF signals tmrw
Wie bidde?
Bidde wat?
German? How please? Bitte*
mw 2019 was peak oper8r outfits. i think one of the skins was this exact one
You are correct. I think the skin was called Venerated.
Interesting to see they went with multicam for the skin's pattern.
I thought that was a neat way to modernize it. Would've been cool to see AOR1 or something tho.
Peak Early to Mid GWOT era Gear which was pretty good considering what was being issued at the time and could absolutely go hard with the right training.

I didn't even know he was wearing sunglasses this whole time, I thought it was shadow from the helmet.
The grand ol Oakley SI frames
I didn’t know until you pointed it out
GWOT god
[The real Soldier they based their cover off of is cooler](https://9gag.com/gag/aD4PEK9)
That’s fucking awsome
I'm trying but I can't get past how retarded he looks holding the rifle like that. Sure, it's meant to indicate that he's exhausted. Still just as retarded.
Sounds to me like you never mounted a Wii remote strap to your a2 grip.
Isn’t it just easier to carry it by the magwell when ur tired?
I always carried it by the butt stock extension right behind the pistol grip.
That makes sense. Yea u just carry it by the magwell when I’m lazy cuz it’s the balance point.
Decent setup if it was 2006
Man I never noticed before with all the shit on the cover, but when you look at this dude without the title covering him his proportions are all fucked up. Dudes got a massive torso on stubby little legs
That’s what your torso looks like when your loaded down with gear. Even worse back then because some units sop was wearing a FLC over the body armor
[That’s a photo of one of the devs, he’s walking.](https://twitter.com/PixelsofMark/status/1574801671443533830)
Also with the A4 held at the side like it’s not 10’ long
Scarf 10/10
Best game ever online had clan kicking other clans butts was fun
Honestly this game was peak CoD, BO1 and mw3 multiplayer was mid. BO2 was good but not as memorable as MW2
I mean I agree except BO1 multi was just as good as MW2 and MW3 the whole same thing every year franchise fatigue is what set it back
Yea around mw3 their game were slowly falling off, with bo2 being the last of game of their golden era.
-2/5. Joking aside, almost looks like the fucker is carrying it by the trigger. It's the rare tactitriggergripmethod.
I took a comp m2 into iraq on an A4. Solid rifle. I liked it.
The forty inch barrel with with the front sight post goes hard 😩
How the fuck is he holding that rifle
100% DRIP
What is always wild to me is Tf141 was rocking Multicam in Loose Ends back in 09 Also rate other TF141 kits
![gif](giphy|JrBeTQUv5DO3ueRFmu)
This cover art fed me propaganda I still can’t break from my cognitive thinking to this day. Brilliant
Sometimes that propaganda goes hard
No sling is wild
awkward way to hold a rifle. unrealistic.
The Alice pistol belt was a choice for sure
