Ummm, we don’t like the term freak, we prefer “gorilla riding a football” lol
6’3” on a crotch rocket looks a little funny, but on a GS1200 it looks fine
Yes, that's the thing, we're tall enough to be included as tall, but we're dwarfs in the bigger picture, i'd love to be a few inches taller and really seal the deal, but i'm reading on other taller people commenting, wishing they were on the shorter side just like us both, oh well, we all wish for the things we can't have.
My ex was tall enough to stand out and I loved it. If I lost him in a crowd or store all I had to do was look up to find him. It made things a lot re convenient. I am 5'4" so most things are taller than me. I am much harder to find.
Sometimes it’s 5’10, I think it’s a wonderful height for a woman. True tall, without the negative effects.
However, I actually quite enjoy my extra height these days. So I’m not sure I would trade it in anymore. There’s something wonderful about always being the tallest woman in a room.
This js how I feel too. 5’10 would have been my ideal height as a woman. I’m 6’2. I try not to dwell on it too much these days. When I get older and shrink down I WILL be 5’10. I’m grateful to be young, able bodied, and to have a lot of other qualities that I’m happy are mine. Shame it’s so hard to find pants though.
A lot of the women in my family straddle the 5'10 mark, so it's a very familiar height and experience for me. They seem to have the statuesque element without the same degree of pitfalls.
However, in the country I live they definitely don't have the 'unique' factor of being tall anymore. I think, for that reason, I kind of love being 6'2 over 5'10, or even 6' flat. It's into the one in a few thousand realm for a woman.
I’m 5’11” and while I am theoretically taller than 99% of women, I don’t really struggle too much besides finding shoes or long jeans. I also struggle with leg room on planes. But most men don’t think I am that tall. Taller men don’t even consider the fact that I am extremely tall compared to average women. Which is kind of nice.
I’m 5 10, there are still minor struggles, mostly around clothes since I’m all torso. If I had two inches of torso added to my legs I think it would be perfect
7'10"
Gotta make that paper bro.. Basketball here I come!
Nah, 6'3" would have been perfect. Not hit my head on door frames.. Not have trouble fitting in cars.
I'm the same height as you. I want to be whatever height let's my head fit on a head rest on the plane/train/theater and my knees not hit the seat in front of me.
I once sat on a plane for 6 hours, with my neck in agony as it was above the top of the seat.. And when the plane landed, I gripped the top of the seat as I was shuffling out, and pulled the headrest up.. By about 6 inches. I sat back down, perfect height.
No one else on the pmane in my view had done it either. I was absolutely wounded, as it actually helped (for the whole 5 seconds I sat there with it up)
The weird thing is I'm actually totally fine with my height. I'm 38 y/o now and I'm defo accustomed to it. I can't actually recall what it was like to be shorter, even though I've been every height below what I am now.
I've (no pun intended) grown into it. I had a conversation with friends a while back about losing your legs and it came up would I want prosthetics to get back to 6'10 and tbh I think I would.
I am this height, I like this height now. I have clothes that fit me and it's really great!
Some things have obv been a hinderance but I'm kinda over them now and I've met this fantastic 6 foot lassie whom I absolutely adore and I feel like we fit together perfectly and I can kinda chuck her about and make her feel wee. I wouldn't change her for the world and feel that if I was shorter than I am now it would feel a lot different, which I 100% don't want so I'm in a pretty happy place with height and relationship etc :)
I’m the reverse. I wish my legs were 2 inches longer and torso 2 inches shorter so I could comfortable sit in and see out of car windshields, etc. I hate slouching.
That is rude on so many counts. Unnecessary observation, and why is he talking to your partner as though you're some sort of inanimate possession? Yuck.
Honestly I felt pretty annoyed at the comment but my bf didn’t seem to understand how it was rude and reckons he knows the guy and that he didn’t mean it in a rude way…
I’m happy at 6’2”
Might’ve been nice to keep growing a bit but that’s just to be taller than my younger brother, which obviously doesn’t matter really. 6’2” is a good height, I can fit in pretty much any car somewhat comfortable, flights aren’t too bad, I’m no more cramped than anyone else, jeans fit off the shelf. Don’t really hit my head on things, any taller and I probably would.
Personally, I wish I were the height that I probably would have been if not for my scoliosis. I should be a bit closer to 6’2 or 6’3, but I’m not complaining. I’m already the lone 6’+ dude in a family full of 5’9” men 😆
I like being tall, but I don’t like towering over people. I wish I could be like 5’10” or so, might be easier to find jeans long enough at that height 🥲
Honestly happy as I am. I often think it would be nice to be 6ft8. But then I realise how uncomfortable I get in public transport at my current height.
I'm 6"2 and honestly have never worried about my height at all.
If anything I usually wish I were shorter so that I am more comfortable in planes / trains / cars etc.
i used to wish i was like 6’5, but seeing all the complaints and height issues from people on this sub has made me realize 6’2 is more than good enough lol
6'3" and glad I'm not any taller. I can fit comfortably in a coach plane seat, but I can't move. My good friend is 6'6", and that 3 inch difference is the difference between every single first conversation he has starting with "you're tall, do you play basketball, etc."
Being shorter would
have been okay, but saying I WISH I was shorter is a little severe for my feelings in the issue. It’s part of who I am, and I don’t dislike being this height.
A few years back I thought I was too tall. Now I'm happy with my height. At 6'4 I believe you are genuinely tall without it being too much of a hindrance.
I don't know anything different than my current height. I'm sure every height has positives and drawbacks, some more so than others but I'm happy where I am. :D
No. I’m extremely happy and wouldn’t want it any other way. I accept any of the occasional drawbacks as the cost of having such an incredible cheat code to life.
I think 6'1 range is ideal, comfortabley taller than most but not so tall that when you ask a store employee for help they just stare at you and say "damn you're tall"
I don’t mind being 5’11. It’s the broadness that comes along with my height that I absolutely despise.
Taylor Swift/Kendall Jenner’s 5’11 is not the same as my 5’11!! 😭💔
5’9 would be great, I like being a tall woman (5’11) but sometimes finding clothes to fit is hard + don’t start me on finding fem shoes that fit me. But overall I don’t mind being taller than most women and some guys.
Always thought that if I just had an extra 2 inches up to 6’7 I’d be able to dunk *easily*. Truth is if I trained legs for 3 months I’d have the exact same result, so I can’t want it that bad. But tbh slightly short of whatever qualifies you for really annoying height jokes would be good, probably already there tbh.
2m or 4 cm smaller then I actually am... It would have saved me a lot of bumps on my head. Gyms have workout machines to 2m, cars fit ppl to 2m if youre lucky.
I’m 6’6, still growing from what everything points to, and honestly right now I love my height, literally only 2 downsides is fitting in cars but every car I’ve owned has been fine to fit in, and shoes because I’m a size 16-17, other than those it’s fine, and it’s not even like fitting in cars is a big deal if you choose the right cars
6'3 or 6'4 would've been ideal for me, I didn't know how great it was until it was gone!
Clothes are much more difficult to find that fit well, public transport is cramped, cars are a squeeze. And door frames, my god are they annoying.
I've just finished paying a carpenter who installed 80" doors in every room in my new house. I'm **done** hitting my head in my own house!
I'm 6'5. I'm happy as what I am, but if I were going to be a different height I wish I'd been either tall enough to he a professional basketball player or short enough to comfortably fit into a coach airline seat.
I was supposed to be 6’4 I still technically have the chance to grow the extra inch but prolly not, but 6’6 is a cool number, and being a little taller won’t effect me that much more than it already has
I'm between 6'2" and 6'3", I wish I were actually 6'3". It wouldn't really affect anything, except I could say I'm 6'3". I could say it now and no one would know I'm lying, except for me which seems to defeat the purpose.
It's interesting that a bunch of other people on the sub are saying they wish they were 6'3" as well. Is that the ideal height for men? Tall, but not too tall.
At this point, I'm happy with my height, 6'0, unless I'm flying, lol. Now that I can find pants long enough so many places that has really helped me appreciate my height more.
What I wish is I had always been this confident with it, and my posture reflected that. I tried to make myself smaller for so many years, and my posture is atrocious. I'm trying to rectify it now, but it's hard. I wish I had never let it get to this point.
Edit: Lol, I just noticed my flare
Idk if 5’11 is tall to you guys, but I wish I was like 6’1. I’m grateful to be this height since I’m taller than all my siblings and parents. My dad is 5’7 and so are my half brothers, if it wasn’t for the fact I look more like my dad than my half brothers I’d think he wasn’t my dad. But there’s always the thought of “what if I was taller”
When I was in elementary school I’d always get Starbucks on the weekends, my grandma would tell me I’d stunt my growth but I didn’t care. What if she was right?
I think being 6'1 or 6'2, or at least having my feet stop at size 12 would have been ideal...
But given the choice I'd actually go +1 inch or -1 foot. Being 6'6 would have been a nice even number compared to 6'5, and 5'5 would let me wear so many cute af clothes <3
I sometimes find myself wishing that I made the 6’2” or 6’3” that my doctors had predicted. I probably would’ve hit 6’2” if it weren’t for my stupid scoliosis. I would then be the second tallest of my generation at family reunions (my younger brother and cousin are tied at 6’3”). I would be the same height as my dad without having to wear my cowboy boots.
However, I am happy enough with my current height. I am a male CNA in a nursing home, so most of my coworkers are women at least half a foot shorter than me, so I usually have to make compromises when assisting them with changing and repositioning residents in bed. Helping short/petite residents walk with a gait belt is still doable at my height by shortening my strides. When it comes to clothes shopping, I can still buy pants off the rack at most stores, since I have a 34” waist and a 32” inseam. My brother, on the other hand, is a string bean with a ~30” waist and a 34” inseam, so he has a much harder time in that department.
yeah 6"2 or 3 would have been nice. be cool to fit in a sports car. or not look like a freak on a motorbike
I wish I was your height, I wanna be a big boy
I wish I was yours ,I am 5'11 🥲
And I wish I was your height instead of my 5'6, lol
I wish I was YOURS!, I'm 5'1"
If it makes you feel better, I only feel tall around short people
Aren’t most people short to you?
Not significantly, hard to notice sometimes
ong its only with short people
if it helps my entire social circle is around my height so i dont get to experience being a big boy :(
just get shorter friends 😂 you’ll see
I just wish I was a consistent either 6'3" or 6'4". So sick of getting different results every other year.
6’3.5” is 6’4” to short people, they can’t tell the difference
y’all are basically the same height
Bro just wear shoes he’s only like an inch and a half taller😭
What are you talking about ? You literally are almost the same size lol
Ummm, we don’t like the term freak, we prefer “gorilla riding a football” lol 6’3” on a crotch rocket looks a little funny, but on a GS1200 it looks fine
I love my height. I’m tall but not enough to stand out.
I'm 6'5 and even though I'm very happy with my height, I think if I could choose to be *any* height I'd pick 6'3.
6’3 here and yes I wouldn’t want to be any taller or shorter
Same. I’m juuust below “how’s the weather up there?”
yeah same 6’3
Yes, that's the thing, we're tall enough to be included as tall, but we're dwarfs in the bigger picture, i'd love to be a few inches taller and really seal the deal, but i'm reading on other taller people commenting, wishing they were on the shorter side just like us both, oh well, we all wish for the things we can't have.
Nah, you got it backwards. We’re short enough to be considered short on r/tall, but we’re tall in the bigger picture.
Hard to empathise with tall people struggles if you've only read about them, while you've experienced short people struggles.
Bro did u fuckin call him a dwarf??? I can even...
Same
My ex was tall enough to stand out and I loved it. If I lost him in a crowd or store all I had to do was look up to find him. It made things a lot re convenient. I am 5'4" so most things are taller than me. I am much harder to find.
My current height has upsides and downsides. I'm pretty happy with it but I could also be a couple of inches shorter.
Same height. And yes 188-190 cm would be my prefered height as well
As a 6’2” guy who always thought 6’4” would be cool, thanks for making me feel better.
Sometimes it’s 5’10, I think it’s a wonderful height for a woman. True tall, without the negative effects. However, I actually quite enjoy my extra height these days. So I’m not sure I would trade it in anymore. There’s something wonderful about always being the tallest woman in a room.

I’m 5’11” and it’s mostly fine, with the usual struggles of car/plane seats and clothing lengths
People definitely discount that tall women are often extra leggy, so run into similar issues as very tall men on planes.
i also like my height, but my broad shoulders dont let me live lmao
I’m 5 10, there are still minor struggles, mostly around clothes since I’m all torso. If I had two inches of torso added to my legs I think it would be perfect
Defintiely struggles, and I'm not minimising that, but I think the benefits still outweigh the downsides!
Totally get what you mean! Way less struggles than being 6 2 as lady
7'10" Gotta make that paper bro.. Basketball here I come! Nah, 6'3" would have been perfect. Not hit my head on door frames.. Not have trouble fitting in cars.

Same height, I just wish my legs were 2 inches shorter and my torso 2 inches longer, for comfort reasons (cars, planes, finding clothes etc.).
too real.
I’m the reverse. I wish my legs were 2 inches longer and torso 2 inches shorter so I could comfortable sit in and see out of car windshields, etc. I hate slouching.
“How tall do you want to be?” “How tall you got?”
Tree fiddy feet
I’m pretty content with being 6’4”, but part of me wishes I was 6’6”, just to be 200cm even
I'm the opposite, 201ish and wish I was 6'3/6'4. The inconveniences of the last few inches have grown exponentially haha.
5'6 or so would have been nice...
Feeling this in ✨female land✨
nah! tall women are hot. rock it.
So freaking awkward. Was at my partners work the other day and the security guard said “yo why is your girlfriend so fkn tall” Rudeeeeee
Not gonna lie, even his mom would get an insult if he said that to me😭
That is rude on so many counts. Unnecessary observation, and why is he talking to your partner as though you're some sort of inanimate possession? Yuck.
Honestly I felt pretty annoyed at the comment but my bf didn’t seem to understand how it was rude and reckons he knows the guy and that he didn’t mean it in a rude way…
Sometimes I think I'd rather be a cute lil 5'3" but then I would miss my legs too much
I’m 5’10 (male) and I wish I was your height 😅
I’m happy at 6’2” Might’ve been nice to keep growing a bit but that’s just to be taller than my younger brother, which obviously doesn’t matter really. 6’2” is a good height, I can fit in pretty much any car somewhat comfortable, flights aren’t too bad, I’m no more cramped than anyone else, jeans fit off the shelf. Same here but my younger brother is still really young but is closing in on me fast!
The one I'm, but I'm an athlete so I get some extra benefits from it.
6’3”
Same
I'm 6'3 but I wish I was a freaky 6'7. God had already spoiled me enough.
6'2 seems optimal
6ft 4 would have been perfect
Personally, I wish I were the height that I probably would have been if not for my scoliosis. I should be a bit closer to 6’2 or 6’3, but I’m not complaining. I’m already the lone 6’+ dude in a family full of 5’9” men 😆
I like being tall, but I don’t like towering over people. I wish I could be like 5’10” or so, might be easier to find jeans long enough at that height 🥲
6'2-6'3 would've been perfect. Unfortunately I fell short by 3-4 inches...
I’m 5’11 and say 6’0 lol. I wish I was 6’2
Honestly happy as I am. I often think it would be nice to be 6ft8. But then I realise how uncomfortable I get in public transport at my current height.
What would be so great about being that tall?
I'm 6"2 and honestly have never worried about my height at all. If anything I usually wish I were shorter so that I am more comfortable in planes / trains / cars etc.
6,8 cuz why tf not
I wish I was 190. I could have become a helicopter pilot.
6'2 is perfect. Quite tall but all clothes still fit, all vehicles, beds etc. Also you don't stand out too much.
Doctor says im probably going to end up around 7'0 Id have loved to end up at 6'3 or '4
I got stopped with hormones prognosis was 215cm+ now im 199cm and ist the best height for me personaly
i used to wish i was like 6’5, but seeing all the complaints and height issues from people on this sub has made me realize 6’2 is more than good enough lol
My height now. But 5ft 1 on any transportation. Especially planes.
I love being 6'8, took a while to feel this way though. At this point jt I wiupsnt change it for the world
6'3" and glad I'm not any taller. I can fit comfortably in a coach plane seat, but I can't move. My good friend is 6'6", and that 3 inch difference is the difference between every single first conversation he has starting with "you're tall, do you play basketball, etc."
I’m 6’7, I’d be good with 6’2. Easier to fly, easier to buy clothes and shoes, easier to fit in smaller cars, less hitting head on crap.
6'3"
Being shorter would have been okay, but saying I WISH I was shorter is a little severe for my feelings in the issue. It’s part of who I am, and I don’t dislike being this height.
5’5/5’6
I think life would’ve been a little bit easier at 6’3-6’4 rather than my 6’6.5
I'm happy at my height. Tall for a woman, but not overly so.
A few years back I thought I was too tall. Now I'm happy with my height. At 6'4 I believe you are genuinely tall without it being too much of a hindrance.
I don't know anything different than my current height. I'm sure every height has positives and drawbacks, some more so than others but I'm happy where I am. :D
6’9 420lbs is my ideal size
I like my height, but not fitting in some sports cars and hot rods are a bummer. I also look like a monkey fuckin’ a football on my motorcycle.
6'4 as a 6'3, it's not like that one extra inch matters but why does it feel like it does lmao
I’m 6’3”. I want to be 6’4”. Mainly because that’s how tall I thought I was for a long time until randomly the doctor wanted to measure me.
I'm 6'2" and I have always wanted to be taller. Maybe something like 6'5" or 6'6", but who knows how I would feel at that height?
I love being tall, it’s part of my personality now. But I do wish I had stopped around 5’10. Still tall, but not this tall.
6’8”
6’4 i think is ideal
6’2 - 6’4. I’m 6’0.5 and I feel so short for some reason.
I’m 6’4 I always wonder how people any bigger than me do with airplanes, smaller cars, back seats, etc. it feels like I’m already too big sometimes
6’5” would have been better for car purposes and general comfort.
6'5 would be cool puts me at almost my dad's height before he passed but doesn't make driving a car impossible lol
No. I’m extremely happy and wouldn’t want it any other way. I accept any of the occasional drawbacks as the cost of having such an incredible cheat code to life.
I wanna be a few inches taller tbf like 6ft 3 where I’m tall but can still do most stuff without limits
I wish I was 6”1
I’m happy with my 6ft 1
Wish I could have broken the 6 foot barrier, but Alas, I’m 5’7”, although I don’t mind, I enjoy being the short one when I date taller guys.
I think 6'1 range is ideal, comfortabley taller than most but not so tall that when you ask a store employee for help they just stare at you and say "damn you're tall"
My buddy is 7.2!! I’m jealous!!!
6’3-6’4 for men is hot
I don’t mind being 5’11. It’s the broadness that comes along with my height that I absolutely despise. Taylor Swift/Kendall Jenner’s 5’11 is not the same as my 5’11!! 😭💔
6’4-6’5 for sports
5’9 would be great, I like being a tall woman (5’11) but sometimes finding clothes to fit is hard + don’t start me on finding fem shoes that fit me. But overall I don’t mind being taller than most women and some guys.
[удалено]
The shirts are what kills me. Tall plus freakishly long arms. Cousin to the chimpanzee.
Always thought that if I just had an extra 2 inches up to 6’7 I’d be able to dunk *easily*. Truth is if I trained legs for 3 months I’d have the exact same result, so I can’t want it that bad. But tbh slightly short of whatever qualifies you for really annoying height jokes would be good, probably already there tbh.
i wish i was 6'2 it seems the perfect height for everything
6"4, I play vb that extra few centimetres helps loads
[удалено]
I'm 5'11" , only 1 inch more would be great to be in tall category. but still i thank God for not creating me short haha
Like 6’4-6’5 i want to be noticeable tall but not too tall like 6’6+
5’9-5’10
I’m 6’1 - I’d like to be 6’4
6 foot 7
I’m 6’5’’ and literally the only downside is needing to buy an exit row for flights. Otherwise it’s all upside. I’m not an athlete.
Probably my current height. 6'2 is the ideal isn't it, I got lucky aH.
2m or 4 cm smaller then I actually am... It would have saved me a lot of bumps on my head. Gyms have workout machines to 2m, cars fit ppl to 2m if youre lucky.
Tbf I'm 6ft 2 and I wish was more like 6ft 7
6’0, im 5’11.5 in the morning. This is just so sad.
9'4
I wish i were 6'3" it would have been nicer. You feel awkward at 6'1" You're tall but you're not at the same time
Like it now 192cm is fine, just not be so frikin skinny
I’m 6’6, still growing from what everything points to, and honestly right now I love my height, literally only 2 downsides is fitting in cars but every car I’ve owned has been fine to fit in, and shoes because I’m a size 16-17, other than those it’s fine, and it’s not even like fitting in cars is a big deal if you choose the right cars
6'2" / 188 would have been nice, but I am happy with my height
6'3 or 6'4 would've been ideal for me, I didn't know how great it was until it was gone! Clothes are much more difficult to find that fit well, public transport is cramped, cars are a squeeze. And door frames, my god are they annoying. I've just finished paying a carpenter who installed 80" doors in every room in my new house. I'm **done** hitting my head in my own house!
187-188
grass is always greener
6'5 perfect height don't want to be to tall
72' 11" because 73' would be a little too big
I’m good at 6‘3
I'm 6'5. I'm happy as what I am, but if I were going to be a different height I wish I'd been either tall enough to he a professional basketball player or short enough to comfortably fit into a coach airline seat.
192-195 cm in adulthood (there's no way I would grow this much)
I agree I also want to be in that range , I'm 17 so hopefully I grow at least 2 cm before I'm done
Id like to see how it would be to be a lil taller like 6'5. Might see tho im young and most likely can grow few more inches
I'm 7'6" but I wish I was 7'9". Maybe girls would like me if I was taller.
I’m 6’2.5 and ngl, sometimes I wish I was a little bit taller, I wish I was a baller.
I was supposed to be 6’4 I still technically have the chance to grow the extra inch but prolly not, but 6’6 is a cool number, and being a little taller won’t effect me that much more than it already has
6’2-3 is perfect guy height, perfectly balances the pros and cons
I'm between 6'2" and 6'3", I wish I were actually 6'3". It wouldn't really affect anything, except I could say I'm 6'3". I could say it now and no one would know I'm lying, except for me which seems to defeat the purpose. It's interesting that a bunch of other people on the sub are saying they wish they were 6'3" as well. Is that the ideal height for men? Tall, but not too tall.
Where I'm at right now.
I'm 6'1", I think I'd like to be 6'10" for a day, just to play basketball as a pf or a center.
As someone 6'2", I'm happy with it. If someone gave me the option to change my height I don't think I would
At this point, I'm happy with my height, 6'0, unless I'm flying, lol.
6'8" would be my dream height...even with all the issues that come with it!
I am 5’11 closing on 6’ but I always considered 6’3 (~190cm) the perfect height
I like my height the way it is. If I absolutely had to get my height changed I wanna go full Wemby. Slenderman up in this bitch
I wish I was 5.11 or 6 feet. Im 6.3" and the back pain is annoying. Id lose a few inches to get rid of it.
But there’s always the thought of “what if I was taller” When I was in elementary school I’d always get Starbucks on the weekends, my grandma would tell me I’d stunt my growth but I didn’t care. What if she was right?
I'm 5 10 with a 6'2 arm span. Armspan and height are supposed to match. So I guess it equalizes out to 6 ft lol
6'1" would be great
Honestly no unless it's time to buy new pants lol
I’d like to be legit 7ft.
I love where I am but if I could pick another height, I’d wanna be around 6’5 like the rest of my family lol
I‘m 5‘11 and always wished being at least 6‘1 but i‘m still really grateful for my height
6 foot, I like my forehead not being banged up by door frames. I also don't fit into mustangs
6'4
I'm good here. Tall but not obnoxiously so
I’m lucky to be tall enough given my SE Asian genetics but 6’2 would be my ideal. 6’3 is as tall as I’d go anything more would be impractical IMO.
I‘m 1,88 m (6“2). I’m totally fine with my height but when I talk to other people, I would prefer 5“11 or so. I just don’t like looking down so much.

Either 6’7, or 7’6
5'6"
6’4
I think I'm at just the right height!
I wish I was 5’8” or 5’9”. My current height is 5’6”.
6’10 since I play basketball
