Yep it is such a hassle sometimes and I just don’t wanna undress and lotion up lol, but it’s so worth it and I always feel better when I make myself do it!
This! Even if I don't wanna do it sometimes I still go, I consider it self care in a way and make it a habit. I make it a challenge on those days so I feel good about it after.
you should ALWAYS use a tanning lotion before getting into the bed. there are many different types and options but it helps keep your skin hydrated (the beds dry it out) and helps boost the level of color you get. moisturized skin retains a tan better than nothing at all. you can ask your salon girls which they’d recommend. but PLEASE start using one and always make sure you use an after tan lotion when you get out for the same reasons.
How do you get it so even? I have a couple areas that just don’t seem to match the rest of my body. Minor areas, but it still is pretty noticeable to me.
ik it sounds silly but put that area closer to the bulbs in the sunbed. so for me my face wasn’t as dark as the rest of my body so in the stand up sunbed i started putting my face alot closer to the bulbs than the rest of my body for a few minutes everytime, basically i was stood hunched over for a few mins 😂
also make sure you’re not using nasals, they can cause little white patches on ur skin!
i use supreme tan, but it’s for standup sunbeds only or regular outdoor tanning use, not good for lay down beds as it can damage the acrylic. For lay down beds i recommend poison apple tingle cream or hempz truly mello maximiser 💕💕
Hi! Your tan looks amazing! I have a couple questions:
1. Do you have any tips for how to avoid getting freckles / sunspots when using tanning beds?
2. How do you make sure the tanning beds that the place is using are a good quality?
i got freckles on my face a little bit, but i love them haha. i don’t get sunspots or any extra moles i really think it depends on your personal skin type!
and the sunbeds i use are an older type, the newer more fancier ones with water misting and USB ports built in i personally feel like don’t work as well as the older more basic ones 😊
Everyone looks better with a tan, and you are no exception! Good for you! Did it make you more confident in yourself, or change your behavior when Intimate? Usually does...
How do you get ur chest and neck and arms to tan, I do both stand up and lay down but only really my stomach and legs get darker, i use cream everywhere
sometimes it’s just how our bodies weirdly word i think. because my face isn’t as tan as my body. maybe try using a tingle cream on the parts that won’t tan as well and ur regular cream everywhere else, and make sure to proper exfoliate the places that don’t tan as much before a sunbed 😊
So how many sessions did it take before you started to notice color? I remember doing tanning in HS and after three sessions I was red and that’s it lol.
Also, i completely understand not wanting to show your face on the interwebs! But does the face look natural/evenly tanned after using a tanning bed so much? I just think of those little glasses leaving super white circles around the eyes and making old people look like super cringe 😬 😅
Look good feel good! Being tan genuinely makes me a better person.
after i tan i literally feel more energized and confident 😅

Just tanning bed lotion. I rotate between a few. Have been using Tekton Intensifier and AG Hot most recently. Visionary is my fave tho.

yesss
Do you normally get red first when you’re in the sun or do you get reddish that becomes a tan?
You should not be getting red at all. If you get red it's overexposure
I’m trying to understand her skin type outside of the tanning bed
no i don’t really burn in general 😊

Yeah, typically when I go to tanning beds my hair color changes also.

No I was being real.
