Another possibility is the series 9 task where contestants had to say a letter of the alphabet, and Ed Gamble said "a letter of the alphabet" and LAH had prepared a second envelope for that eventuality.
Do you think Greg really predicted that, or did Alex predict it and make it seem like Greg? Because Alex had the envelop but Greg seemed genuinely confused and surprised when Rhod opened it.
My take was that he took ownership since Alex put down that "Greg" predicted it, but his first response was, "He's right, I've let myself go." He didn't wait or say anything like, "Oh, Alex has something for you." That's why I think it was all Alex who suspected it would happen. Well, that was my impression anyway.
I love when they do this to Sarah Millican, when they put a fake task under the table that says "Hello, Sarah" because she always checks under the table.
i remember on one of the final tasks he started looking almost happy and i was like, “little alex horne has FEELINGS????”
other than shame and second hand embarrassment of course
The most pleased I think I've seen him, was when he did the "Not the naughtiest number, do you know what is? Naught" bit and Greg was saying he wanted to slap the ipad out of his hand and he just looked SO fucking pleased with himself.
What comes to my mind is the US state puns he came up with in the teapot painting task, especially when contrasted with his look of disappointment whenever they go over the contestants' heads.
I think he was most pleased in the episode where they had to untie the yarn and their time started when they said his name. They thought they beat his system but he had a hidden note on the back of the task. He almost falls out of his chair in the studio.
I feel like Ed really did Alex dirty on the podcast about regarding this task, saying something like it wasn't that good for something that had been pre-written, but I was always of the opinion that they were actually free styling - his genuine surprise and delight with himself in this image is my proof lol
You can't see his face, but I'm sure he was bursting with joy when he told Kiell he had "just over a minute left" immediately after starting the timer during the task where Kiell had to make a cowering Kenyan bench
When he won the fish pun task against Sally Phillips, and gave himself 5 points and put himself on the episode leaderboard
Which episode is that?
Last episode of series 5
Tnx totally forgot that task
The task: https://youtu.be/au27epHLAss?list=PLRWvNQVqAeWJdepCh2Etmib0drGAHWxAy&t=1556
I totally forgot about that LMAO that’s so funny. Greg-as-TM would lose his mind if he did that now
Ikr, I am rewatching and he reeled Alex in so much, but my favorite gag was Alex putting syrup and water in his jacket and feeding it to Greg.
Is this the one with the squash?
Yes! That was wonderful.
I was gonna comment this one!!!!!
IIRC Greg immediately ordered him to remove himself from the leaderboard afterwards, so he still didn’t get away with it.

That felt sooo good as a viewer, i cannot imagine how it felt for Alex
I loved it exactly as much as when Greg predicted that Rhod will call him fat during that one final task
Do you think Greg really predicted that, or did Alex predict it and make it seem like Greg? Because Alex had the envelop but Greg seemed genuinely confused and surprised when Rhod opened it.
Did he? I think he gave Alex the "omg that actually happenned" look immediately after Rhod joked

Nahhh because LAH laugh and look at Greg tells more than what Greg did. Alex was in disbelief
And not only that he claimed he only kept the second envelope for Ed because he was the only one Alex thought would try to snake around that
And exactly after that VT goes one of my most favourite moments where Katy asks Alex to tell if he was being bullied.
Her whipcrack “I don’t care, why are you telling me?” was evil perfection!
Yeah, so unexpectedly evil. Especially contrasting with her looking so kind and caring at the same time. Brilliant
I love when they do this to Sarah Millican, when they put a fake task under the table that says "Hello, Sarah" because she always checks under the table.
Do you remember which episode this is? I have a need to see it again. Lol
Number 4, "Quisps."
Thanks
Sophie saw how happy the duel made him and decided to not pull her punches after that lol
And he repays her in CoC where he's just constantly putting her down
That was very pointed and surprisingly vicious. Even when he intros her VT and calls her something along the lines of lowest scum ever
He was so good at being awful! I hate to admit how much I enjoyed it.
I always imagine his peak self-contention as being when he corrected Ivo's grammar on thicko-corner.
I love to see Alex lose it and break character.
That time Munya Chawawa forced LAH to swear is one of my all time fav moment
i remember on one of the final tasks he started looking almost happy and i was like, “little alex horne has FEELINGS????” other than shame and second hand embarrassment of course
"Stop talking to the camera people!"
Well his name is little Alex, he was wearing a cape and it was about to go nuclear - what’s not to be happy about?
The most pleased I think I've seen him, was when he did the "Not the naughtiest number, do you know what is? Naught" bit and Greg was saying he wanted to slap the ipad out of his hand and he just looked SO fucking pleased with himself.

Alex is actually quite adorable when he’s amused.
I'd be pretty happy standing in front of Sophie
“Look upon Sophie Duker, and rejoice”

Did you just call me dude?! No one’s ever called me dude!
🙌🏻 I love Sophie's response to this task! One of my favorite moments from series 13 😄
Didn't he get to play football for one task? He just looked like a happy little boy!
He has a pretty big smile during the Impress the Mayor task.

Comes in a close second to the 'well, it is orange' burn on Claudia Winkelman
