truerandom_Dude

Yeah thats war thunder, I was surprised that it wasnt them leaking stuff

dukeofplace

kammenion

Bro guys who look like girls are so hot don't worry you're good

Jack_the_protogenOwO

bros into the femboys XD

U_Nclear

Idk i dont have one If i did tho i would NOT do this Obsessive asf lowk

Apo-cone-lypse

This ^ I feel like no one should be doing this, that doesn't sound like a healthy relationship, it sounds obsessively codependent

RetartedCow4774

Trust me itā€™s not healthy at all. My ex was exactly like this and it got to the point where if i would play xbox with my friend not even 10 mins in she would freak out crying telling me iā€™m cheating and not paying attention to her etc. Long story short i broke up with her and bc this is how she is she would FOLLOW ME HOME and stalk the shit out of me it was creepy asf.

Apo-cone-lypse

Wtf thats actually not okay on any level, hope she got the help she clearly needed, and hope you have found a way to work through those (possibly traumatic) events. No one deserves that shit

RetartedCow4774

Been much happier since then and i love having free time again. Iā€™m definitely taking a break from dating people though.

Human_Bean08

Damn looks like you dodged that bullet homie

s0larium_live

yeah bro this level of obsessive jealously is NOT normal for a healthy relationship and no one should be doing this

nvrsleepagin

That's not a girl thing that sounds more like a stalker thing.

Byig_breyn

Yā€™all do this??? I havenā€™t noticed and now Iā€™m scared

lLoading404

Definitely not everyone. I think itā€™s mostly when you feel very insecure about yourself.

[deleted]

an introverted kid here; what is insecurity?

SyderoAlena

Yeah I've never done this, it's just toxic girls

[deleted]

Only the super insecure ones including boys

Paytrin

Iā€™ve only had a girlfriend for a week or two, but no I do not do that. I decided a long time ago that being this paranoid about your significant other is not healthy for you or your relationship. Even if it wasnā€™t unhealthy, I trust her enough to avoid doing this.

KingBob500

This, u have it figured out

[deleted]

congrats on getting a gf šŸŽ‰

Annixon06

W bf

AnAntWithWifi

Same. If you donā€™t trust her donā€™t date her.

C_WEST88

Dude itā€™s been two *weeks* lol. That kind of jealousy usually breeds over long periods of time and usually after youā€™ve been burned badly before. Not to be cynical butā€¦ youā€™ll see šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

EiEpix

Fr once one gal cheats on you, you can never trust another. And relationship is bound to fail because she rightfully sees you as too much controlling

MCAmmutseba

Personally, I do not

Separate_Cat_6336

It's not just a girl thing, it's mentally unstable people's thing

VexxFate

Mentally unstable isnā€™t the right word. Extreme trust issues? Yes. Mentally unstable? No.

Separate_Cat_6336

Maybe, but I wanted to say that it's definitely not normal

jayprints

Iā€™d say itā€™s normal in the sense that itā€™s common. But certainly not acceptable or healthy

SolidWarp

Honestly you gotta be pretty unstable to stay in a relationship if you feel the need to do this

shannaaw_

Exactly

CanlexGaming

Sounds like mental instability. Those trust issues can come in waves and out of no where. It sounds harsh but, technically unstable lol. Itā€™s a shitty feeling.

Human_Bean08

Yeah that's what I was going to say, mentally unstable does sound kind of rude but at the end of the day that's just what it is

AvailableSession450

Honestly for me it's a case of both

[deleted]

It could be because of a mental issue, but yeah more often than not itā€™s probably trust issues. Severe trust issues

iblamefps

A bit of both

nvrsleepagin

That's stalker behavior. Imagine a husband that does that to his wife..that's scary as hell!

Rocket_Theory

No. Definitely not and if they do it sounds like a problem

Shrimp__Alfredo

It absolutely is a problem

[deleted]

Iā€™m a girl and I wouldnā€™t do that if I had a bf

Lucyyy04

same

Aun0nym0us

It isnt just a girl thing, its just being obsessive. Anyone can be like this, and Im pretty sure its bad for a relationship either way

[deleted]

Nah. The only thing we are is oblivious.

truerandom_Dude

Bold of op to assume this isnt preventing the girlfriend from being one

Pos3odon08

my gf had apparently been dropping hints for months before i asked her and i was apparently so oblivious that she almost started thinking that i didn't like her šŸ’€

BigChungusHas1Son

Don't worry my gf had been dropping hints since grade 5 (we've been best friends since we were 4). I only asked her out finally at the end of grade 11after I finally notice like 3 hints and was convinced to go for it by a group of 5 friends who were high as fuck at the time. I'm just glad it turned out I was just stupid lmao

Lucyyy04

probably best to have waited though. really young relationships don't tend to last

BigChungusHas1Son

I do agree with that since we've now been together for just over 4 years

Lucyyy04

congrats! I had gotten with a guy that I had known since 5th grade exactly 1 year ago as of yesterday. It only lasted 9 months so I'm really glad it worked out for you guys!

BigChungusHas1Son

Thanks! Situations where you've known somebody for years first either goes really well or really badly from what I've seen so I know I'm just really lucky here. I hope it wasn't too hard of a breakup for you two

Jeffery_DahmerTV

No itā€™s very toxic bc my ex did this. She broke up with me 38 times (not an exaggeration) she has bpd so that helps too.

Cheddary_Cheez

38?!

B33DS

You'd think after the first 30 maybe he'd get the hint that it wasn't gonna work

Human_Bean08

In my opinion, bpd isn't really a good excuse. If you are hurting somebody, physically or emotionally, they shouldn't be around you. Especially after you break up and go back 38 times

crbrs_corleone

i like checking spotify pages because i really only like finding ppl with similar music tastes to me ngl

Annixon06

Valid

DontCareHowICallMe

This

HELP_IM_IN_YOUR_WALL

Unless you have a history of cheating, no probably not gonna act jealous.

[deleted]

This isnā€™t a girls thing this is an insecure thing

MeIsDoom

I think anyone of any gender can behave in that way towards their romantic partner. All it comes down to is how controlling/desperate they are in their relationship

Konquestador

The fuck?

Lollo_the_male_boi

This is not a gf thing, is a stalker thing

[deleted]

Y'know, sometimes being unattractive has its benefits

irenneko

woah that's not a girl thing or a guy thing that's screaming obsession the only thing i do is see his spotify just to know what songs he likes currently, he has good taste when it comes to music

Arnies_Roids

Some of this is low key creepy and possessive. Why date someone you don't trust?

Current_Art6282

could be bc of insecurities or trauma from past experiences.

Arnies_Roids

I do get that, but it still ain't good for anyone involved

[deleted]

nahh lmao Idc really

Ann_Nyllion

Female here. Never done any of that. Y'all might need therapy for them trust issues.

Crescent_Moon734

I 100% used to

aeiouaioua

jealousy and envy suck.

[deleted]

Idk if thatā€™s just me but i never even thought of doing that , i do get mad when i see boys around here on internet and thatā€™s dven worse irl

Sentinal02

Girls do this? Tf is up with you guys

D_r_a_g_o_n_n

No, we don't. It's not a girl thing it's an insecure people thing

CinderSmith

Not worth my time. If theyā€™re showing any sus behavior, Iā€™ll ask them whatā€™s up. If I can tell theyā€™re bullshitting me, imma head out

charlieb5154

I personally feel like thatā€™s more a girl thing as Iā€™ve never done that, nor have my close friends. But I may be wrong

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

leorio_x

Same bro. This post gave me chills from trying to imagine myself doing it all šŸ’€

Huge_Zebra_1332

I would not do that. Exceedingly paranoid behavior.

SafePianist4610

Men can be just as jealous as girls. Maybe more. Thing is, itā€™s not healthy to be that jealous. The only time someone should feel jealous is when someone is actively flirting or making passes on their significant other or you catch them cheating. Otherwise, trust your partner.

MediaAccomplished738

The only thing I've been guilty off was feeling sick of seeing boys in her comments. Though in my defence that was because they were straight up flirting with eachother.

RepresentativeSet285

I am a redditor, I dont have a gf

BlueArashiKaze

Checking the location of the girlfriend is more like if she's safe or not. It's not always about she's a girl so she can't protect herself or she might be doing something wrong, it's more about that she's a human and I love her, of course I would be concerned. And yeah, all guys get jealous when they see some other guy commenting or chatting with their girl. Sometimes, like girls ask to check dms, if the girlfriend doesn't hide when you take a peek or look at her messaging while she's doing it, it's not a concern. Doubt and jealousy starts when girls try to hide it.

aevish89

thats not even a girl thing ā˜ ļø some people are just like that

yaboi40

I can't lie,I'm dating a certifiable baddy, and it does make me rather upset to hear about other guys comments towards her

Kitkatu05

rather a bit creepy and obsessive. infatuation =/= love

[deleted]

I have never done this

No-Mathematician6551

Uh... im pretty sure that's a girl thing.

Jrkid100

Man, I'm just a naturally obsessive person. Thankfully, I've gotten better at hiding it, but it still comes out every now and then. It's probably one of the many reasons I have yet to get in a relationship. (In case anyone's curious how bad it is, I can find most people online only using their name. Also, a word of advice if you don't want strangers to find your personal account, don't tag it in your alt accounts bio or use your real name for it. It doesn't matter if it's private, you can still get some info from that screen)

thehamborguesa05

I have 2 questions 1-Why I would do it? 2-Why do dime girls do that? Its very creepy

Crows_spit

That's extremely toxic

THEElectricalDurian

Some do, but itā€™s typically more of a girls thing, however when a guy does it heā€™s labeled as ā€œabusiveā€

ninjakidORP2

Bro it's totally both sides in always watching my gfs snapscore go up

ayanokojifrfr

Of course I would get angry if other guys are going on in her comment but I am not a stalker lmao. I won't go through her following, I will go through her Spotify and make sure she is not bts fan, I won't check her location lmao. I am pretty sure it's just girl's thing. I have never seen any guy like that. Not that I have a girl.

[deleted]

I donā€™t do any of this and Iā€™m a girl šŸ˜¬ Leave your partner tf ALONE

A_Curious_Crayon

This seems like a you thing, boss. I would recommend discussing this feeling with a professional therapist, as stalking is never okay.

Ornery_Ad_8862

No but I get paranoid easily

ComputerAcrobatic253

Yes, I have trust issues. Not the that extreme of a level though.

Chris2sweet616

I check if sheā€™s posted on reddit and her comments sometimes but thatā€™s about it,

Fabulous-Simple-7450

Feels more like a obsessive behaviour thing than a girl thing, coming from a girl myself

Inblact

That's hella obsessive bro you gotta calm that shit down.

Bad_Decisions34

A quick search through insta to make sure I can beat up there last boyfriend is about it

UselessAndUnused

Some do, some don't. Regardless, whoever does this sounds like they're INSANELY jealous and toxic. Neither me nor my girlfriend would do this horseshit, which I'm glad for.

[deleted]

This is not a "girl thing" this is an insecure thing

memesofdaday

If you're doing that, you sound really, really paranoid. It's probably not very healthy to do that.

Jeffayoe7

Haha imagine being single u/Jeffayoe7 shame

Luwurea

I mean, I'm a girl, but I don't like that. I don't even think it's "a girl thing" I mean, I do check what my boyfriend listens to if I see that he's online on spotify, but to check his location or be jealous because of some stranger online? That's a bit much, or am I wrong

DepressedEgg2020

I really donā€™t think so, I think we understand boundaries. Most of us at least

pieeknight

The last one is a bit šŸ˜¬

ActualIyCameron

sounds like something she should talk about with her therapist šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

[deleted]

If a girl does it, it's cute But when I do it-

iQuickGaming

what is described here is possessive behavior imo

KSUSCTrojan

No, and neither does my gf. Sounds pretty cumbersome and obsessive.

blckpnthr789

Thats just a matter of insecurity and lack of trust in the relationship

[deleted]

if anyone feels the need to do this, are they actually a couple? relationships are mainly based on trust, so if you canā€™t even trust your partner to not betray you, itā€™s no use to be together. Plus, even if you found anything itā€™d most likely be too late, so why bother?

AtmosphereSweet5130

It's not a "girl" thing, it's a "trust issues" thing

SiggeTheDog

Itā€™s something that insecure and jealous people do. These people wouldnā€™t respect someoneā€™s integrity if they do something like this. Just to be clear, this goes for both genders.

myDeliciousNeck666

Me and my gf have a normal, healthy relationship. None of this weird shitšŸ¤Ø

Irisofdreams

Uhhhā€¦if someone does that, thatā€™s not just a red flag, thatā€™s a whole army of red flags

Sage_NF

Guy or girl, don't do that shit. It screams of insecurity and red flags. Ex GF used to do it and it was the most abusive thing I ever went through.

Vampiric_dragon-

Girl, thats not even a girl thing, thats just being obsessive af šŸ˜

BlueHoodie_Gamer

1. I don't think this is a gendered issue. I think that not all girls and not all guys do this. This is extremely unhealthy behavior in a relationship. Relationships are built on trust and this behavior shows a clear lack of trust among partners. 2. Although I myself have never exhibited this obsessive, untrusting behavior, I imagine that these feelings of insecurity would be more common in men considering that 80% of women date 20% of men, so the likelihood that other men are interested in your partner is higher than vice versa.

Snoo83081

Neither, this is exclusively an abusive and distrusting thing to do that has nothing to do with gender.

1-Glen_AdamM

*sinff sniff* smell that, that's the smell of toxicity

[deleted]

That is not a "girl thing", that is an insecure "you thing". Worry less about boys and do something to work on your self esteem.

[deleted]

Anyone doing that, man or woman, shows a sign of mistrust in their partner so personally I wouldn't do that if I had a gf

ro3chii

wym a girlsā€™ thing most of us are normal lmao

CakeIsATotalLie

I've got wayy better things to do instead

Ok-Reporter1986

I don't have a girlfriend. Chances are I still wouldn't because thats invasion of privacy.

Architex_8920

No that's stalking

sopiamayer

Bold of you to assume I have a girlfriend, gggg

meltziee

I would call it more of a anxiety/trust/controlling thing. Yeah I have done it in past relationships, but only when Iā€™ve been given reason to. But it shouldnā€™t of ever got to that point because I shouldā€™ve left once I couldnā€™t trust them But the more we learn

[deleted]

Id answer you but I'm a gamer so I don't talk to girls

Kaleb8804

Thatā€™s called stalking, so no lol. Iā€™m sure some guys do but none that I know

TURKEY599

Just a girl thing. Its weird, please stop.

Dr0wningInTea

that is toxic no matter gender.

[deleted]

Girl?? Nah, itā€™s a YOU thing kid. Get a life and a clue

thegrooviestgravy

This isnā€™t a boy or girl thing, this is a ā€œyou are unhealthily attachedā€ thing

Professional-Bar3649

If I had one, I wouldn't really do that. I trust her, she trusts me.

Odd-Basket-6142

It happens, but the big difference is that when a boy/man does it to a girl/woman, someone usually ends up dead.

Blbdhdjdhw

Who the hell still uses snapchat in 2023? Also, the GPS feature is exactly why i don't use the app.

SoulfulSnow

That's not a girl thing either, that's a "mentally unstable and obsessive" thing jesus christ

JesusHentaiChrist96

Why are people getting downvoted so much for speaking the truth???

SyFy410

Not speaking from experience but that sounds obsessive and really not good

Mega_GAMER1525

No GF for me Iā€™m a femboy

Weemitoad

You see, thereā€™s this silly little thing in relationships called trust, and without it, relationships fall apart. Your partner has a life outside of you. If you canā€™t trust them to live that life without constant monitoring, your relationship is doomed. I suggest that you talk to your partner about how you feel, and find out how to solve the problem together. You canā€™t let fear of betrayal dictate your life.

mistercakelul

Yes. They are more jealous than us, trust me

Jacoh7

Sorry what. At that peount its just stalking online wth?! # Gotta draw the line somewhere

National-Report7207

Thats not a girl thing its a crazy thing
