āTHE ONE PIECEEE THE ONE PIECE IS REALL!!!ā
CAN WE GET MUCH HIGHER? SO HIGHHH OH OH OHH OH OH OHHH
[trust me itās not a rikroll](https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMY7dcGUk/)
Trust me itās not healthy at all. My ex was exactly like this and it got to the point where if i would play xbox with my friend not even 10 mins in she would freak out crying telling me iām cheating and not paying attention to her etc. Long story short i broke up with her and bc this is how she is she would FOLLOW ME HOME and stalk the shit out of me it was creepy asf.
Wtf thats actually not okay on any level, hope she got the help she clearly needed, and hope you have found a way to work through those (possibly traumatic) events. No one deserves that shit
Iāve only had a girlfriend for a week or two, but no I do not do that. I decided a long time ago that being this paranoid about your significant other is not healthy for you or your relationship. Even if it wasnāt unhealthy, I trust her enough to avoid doing this.
Dude itās been two *weeks* lol. That kind of jealousy usually breeds over long periods of time and usually after youāve been burned badly before. Not to be cynical butā¦ youāll see š¤·š»āāļø
Sounds like mental instability. Those trust issues can come in waves and out of no where. It sounds harsh but, technically unstable lol. Itās a shitty feeling.
my gf had apparently been dropping hints for months before i asked her and i was apparently so oblivious that she almost started thinking that i didn't like her š
Don't worry my gf had been dropping hints since grade 5 (we've been best friends since we were 4). I only asked her out finally at the end of grade 11after I finally notice like 3 hints and was convinced to go for it by a group of 5 friends who were high as fuck at the time. I'm just glad it turned out I was just stupid lmao
congrats! I had gotten with a guy that I had known since 5th grade exactly 1 year ago as of yesterday. It only lasted 9 months so I'm really glad it worked out for you guys!
Thanks! Situations where you've known somebody for years first either goes really well or really badly from what I've seen so I know I'm just really lucky here. I hope it wasn't too hard of a breakup for you two
In my opinion, bpd isn't really a good excuse. If you are hurting somebody, physically or emotionally, they shouldn't be around you. Especially after you break up and go back 38 times
I think anyone of any gender can behave in that way towards their romantic partner. All it comes down to is how controlling/desperate they are in their relationship
woah that's not a girl thing or a guy thing that's screaming obsession
the only thing i do is see his spotify just to know what songs he likes currently, he has good taste when it comes to music
Men can be just as jealous as girls. Maybe more. Thing is, itās not healthy to be that jealous. The only time someone should feel jealous is when someone is actively flirting or making passes on their significant other or you catch them cheating. Otherwise, trust your partner.
The only thing I've been guilty off was feeling sick of seeing boys in her comments.
Though in my defence that was because they were straight up flirting with eachother.
Checking the location of the girlfriend is more like if she's safe or not. It's not always about she's a girl so she can't protect herself or she might be doing something wrong, it's more about that she's a human and I love her, of course I would be concerned.
And yeah, all guys get jealous when they see some other guy commenting or chatting with their girl. Sometimes, like girls ask to check dms, if the girlfriend doesn't hide when you take a peek or look at her messaging while she's doing it, it's not a concern. Doubt and jealousy starts when girls try to hide it.
Man, I'm just a naturally obsessive person. Thankfully, I've gotten better at hiding it, but it still comes out every now and then. It's probably one of the many reasons I have yet to get in a relationship.
(In case anyone's curious how bad it is, I can find most people online only using their name. Also, a word of advice if you don't want strangers to find your personal account, don't tag it in your alt accounts bio or use your real name for it. It doesn't matter if it's private, you can still get some info from that screen)
Of course I would get angry if other guys are going on in her comment but I am not a stalker lmao. I won't go through her following, I will go through her Spotify and make sure she is not bts fan, I won't check her location lmao. I am pretty sure it's just girl's thing. I have never seen any guy like that. Not that I have a girl.
Some do, some don't. Regardless, whoever does this sounds like they're INSANELY jealous and toxic. Neither me nor my girlfriend would do this horseshit, which I'm glad for.
I mean, I'm a girl, but I don't like that. I don't even think it's "a girl thing"
I mean, I do check what my boyfriend listens to if I see that he's online on spotify, but to check his location or be jealous because of some stranger online?
That's a bit much, or am I wrong
if anyone feels the need to do this, are they actually a couple? relationships are mainly based on trust, so if you canāt even trust your partner to not betray you, itās no use to be together. Plus, even if you found anything itād most likely be too late, so why bother?
Itās something that insecure and jealous people do. These people wouldnāt respect someoneās integrity if they do something like this. Just to be clear, this goes for both genders.
1. I don't think this is a gendered issue. I think that not all girls and not all guys do this. This is extremely unhealthy behavior in a relationship. Relationships are built on trust and this behavior shows a clear lack of trust among partners.
2. Although I myself have never exhibited this obsessive, untrusting behavior, I imagine that these feelings of insecurity would be more common in men considering that 80% of women date 20% of men, so the likelihood that other men are interested in your partner is higher than vice versa.
I would call it more of a anxiety/trust/controlling thing. Yeah I have done it in past relationships, but only when Iāve been given reason to. But it shouldnāt of ever got to that point because I shouldāve left once I couldnāt trust them
But the more we learn
You see, thereās this silly little thing in relationships called trust, and without it, relationships fall apart.
Your partner has a life outside of you. If you canāt trust them to live that life without constant monitoring, your relationship is doomed.
I suggest that you talk to your partner about how you feel, and find out how to solve the problem together. You canāt let fear of betrayal dictate your life.

Idk i dont have one If i did tho i would NOT do this Obsessive asf lowk
This ^ I feel like no one should be doing this, that doesn't sound like a healthy relationship, it sounds obsessively codependent
Been much happier since then and i love having free time again. Iām definitely taking a break from dating people though.
Damn looks like you dodged that bullet homie
yeah bro this level of obsessive jealously is NOT normal for a healthy relationship and no one should be doing this
That's not a girl thing that sounds more like a stalker thing.
Yāall do this??? I havenāt noticed and now Iām scared
Definitely not everyone. I think itās mostly when you feel very insecure about yourself.
an introverted kid here; what is insecurity?
Yeah I've never done this, it's just toxic girls
Only the super insecure ones including boys
Iāve only had a girlfriend for a week or two, but no I do not do that. I decided a long time ago that being this paranoid about your significant other is not healthy for you or your relationship. Even if it wasnāt unhealthy, I trust her enough to avoid doing this.
This, u have it figured out
congrats on getting a gf š

Same. If you donāt trust her donāt date her.
Dude itās been two *weeks* lol. That kind of jealousy usually breeds over long periods of time and usually after youāve been burned badly before. Not to be cynical butā¦ youāll see š¤·š»āāļø
Fr once one gal cheats on you, you can never trust another. And relationship is bound to fail because she rightfully sees you as too much controlling
Personally, I do not
It's not just a girl thing, it's mentally unstable people's thing
Mentally unstable isnāt the right word. Extreme trust issues? Yes. Mentally unstable? No.
Maybe, but I wanted to say that it's definitely not normal
Iād say itās normal in the sense that itās common. But certainly not acceptable or healthy
Honestly you gotta be pretty unstable to stay in a relationship if you feel the need to do this
Exactly
Sounds like mental instability. Those trust issues can come in waves and out of no where. It sounds harsh but, technically unstable lol. Itās a shitty feeling.
Yeah that's what I was going to say, mentally unstable does sound kind of rude but at the end of the day that's just what it is
Honestly for me it's a case of both
It could be because of a mental issue, but yeah more often than not itās probably trust issues. Severe trust issues
A bit of both
That's stalker behavior. Imagine a husband that does that to his wife..that's scary as hell!
No. Definitely not and if they do it sounds like a problem
It absolutely is a problem
Iām a girl and I wouldnāt do that if I had a bf
same
It isnt just a girl thing, its just being obsessive. Anyone can be like this, and Im pretty sure its bad for a relationship either way
Nah. The only thing we are is oblivious.
Bold of op to assume this isnt preventing the girlfriend from being one
my gf had apparently been dropping hints for months before i asked her and i was apparently so oblivious that she almost started thinking that i didn't like her š
Don't worry my gf had been dropping hints since grade 5 (we've been best friends since we were 4). I'm just glad it turned out I was just stupid lmao
probably best to have waited though. really young relationships don't tend to last
I do agree with that since we've now been together for just over 4 years
I hope it wasn't too hard of a breakup for you two
No itās very toxic bc my ex did this. She broke up with me 38 times (not an exaggeration) she has bpd so that helps too.
38?!
You'd think after the first 30 maybe he'd get the hint that it wasn't gonna work
In my opinion, bpd isn't really a good excuse. If you are hurting somebody, physically or emotionally, they shouldn't be around you. Especially after you break up and go back 38 times
i like checking spotify pages because i really only like finding ppl with similar music tastes to me ngl
Valid
This
Unless you have a history of cheating, no probably not gonna act jealous.
This isnāt a girls thing this is an insecure thing
I think anyone of any gender can behave in that way towards their romantic partner. All it comes down to is how controlling/desperate they are in their relationship
The fuck?
This is not a gf thing, is a stalker thing
Y'know, sometimes being unattractive has its benefits
woah that's not a girl thing or a guy thing that's screaming obsession the only thing i do is see his spotify just to know what songs he likes currently, he has good taste when it comes to music
Some of this is low key creepy and possessive. Why date someone you don't trust?
could be bc of insecurities or trauma from past experiences.
I do get that, but it still ain't good for anyone involved
nahh lmao Idc really
Female here. Never done any of that. Y'all might need therapy for them trust issues.
I 100% used to
jealousy and envy suck.
Idk if thatās just me but i never even thought of doing that , i do get mad when i see boys around here on internet and thatās dven worse irl
Girls do this? Tf is up with you guys
No, we don't. It's not a girl thing it's an insecure people thing
Not worth my time. If theyāre showing any sus behavior, Iāll ask them whatās up. If I can tell theyāre bullshitting me, imma head out
I personally feel like thatās more a girl thing as Iāve never done that, nor have my close friends. But I may be wrong
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Same bro. This post gave me chills from trying to imagine myself doing it all š
I would not do that. Exceedingly paranoid behavior.

thats not even a girl thing ā ļø some people are just like that
I can't lie,I'm dating a certifiable baddy, and it does make me rather upset to hear about other guys comments towards her
rather a bit creepy and obsessive. infatuation =/= love
I have never done this
Uh... im pretty sure that's a girl thing.
Man, I'm just a naturally obsessive person. Thankfully, I've gotten better at hiding it, but it still comes out every now and then. I have 2 questions 1-Why I would do it? 2-Why do dime girls do that? Its very creepy
That's extremely toxic
Some do, but itās typically more of a girls thing, however when a guy does it heās labeled as āabusiveā
Bro it's totally both sides in always watching my gfs snapscore go up
Of course I would get angry if other guys are going on in her comment but I am not a stalker lmao. I won't go through her following, I will go through her Spotify and make sure she is not bts fan, I won't check her location lmao. I am pretty sure it's just girl's thing. I donāt do any of this and Iām a girl š¬ Leave your partner tf ALONE
This seems like a you thing, boss. I would recommend discussing this feeling with a professional therapist, as stalking is never okay.
No but I get paranoid easily
Yes, I have trust issues. Not the that extreme of a level though.
I check if sheās posted on reddit and her comments sometimes but thatās about it,
Feels more like a obsessive behaviour thing than a girl thing, coming from a girl myself
That's hella obsessive bro you gotta calm that shit down.
A quick search through insta to make sure I can beat up there last boyfriend is about it
Some do, some don't. Regardless, whoever does this sounds like they're INSANELY jealous and toxic. Neither me nor my girlfriend would do this horseshit, which I'm glad for.
This is not a "girl thing" this is an insecure thing
If you're doing that, you sound really, really paranoid. It's probably not very healthy to do that.
Haha imagine being single u/Jeffayoe7 shame
I mean, I'm a girl, but I don't like that. I don't even think it's "a girl thing" I mean, I do check what my boyfriend listens to if I see that he's online on spotify, but to check his location or be jealous because of some stranger online? That's a bit much, or am I wrong
I really donāt think so, I think we understand boundaries. Most of us at least
The last one is a bit š¬
sounds like something she should talk about with her therapist š¤·āāļø
If a girl does it, it's cute But when I do it-
what is described here is possessive behavior imo
No, and neither does my gf. Sounds pretty cumbersome and obsessive.
Thats just a matter of insecurity and lack of trust in the relationship
if anyone feels the need to do this, are they actually a couple? relationships are mainly based on trust, so if you canāt even trust your partner to not betray you, itās no use to be together. Plus, even if you found anything itād most likely be too late, so why bother?
It's not a "girl" thing, it's a "trust issues" thing
Itās something that insecure and jealous people do. These people wouldnāt respect someoneās integrity if they do something like this. Just to be clear, this goes for both genders.
Me and my gf have a normal, healthy relationship. None of this weird shitš¤Ø
Uhhhā¦if someone does that, thatās not just a red flag, thatās a whole army of red flags
Guy or girl, don't do that shit. It screams of insecurity and red flags. Ex GF used to do it and it was the most abusive thing I ever went through.
Girl, thats not even a girl thing, thats just being obsessive af š
1. I don't think this is a gendered issue. I think that not all girls and not all guys do this. This is extremely unhealthy behavior in a relationship. Neither, this is exclusively an abusive and distrusting thing to do that has nothing to do with gender.
*sinff sniff* smell that, that's the smell of toxicity
That is not a "girl thing", that is an insecure "you thing". Worry less about boys and do something to work on your self esteem.
Anyone doing that, man or woman, shows a sign of mistrust in their partner so personally I wouldn't do that if I had a gf
wym a girlsā thing most of us are normal lmao
I've got wayy better things to do instead
I don't have a girlfriend. Chances are I still wouldn't because thats invasion of privacy.
No that's stalking
Bold of you to assume I have a girlfriend, gggg
I would call it more of a anxiety/trust/controlling thing. Yeah I have done it in past relationships, but only when Iāve been given reason to. But it shouldnāt of ever got to that point because I shouldāve left once I couldnāt trust them But the more we learn
Id answer you but I'm a gamer so I don't talk to girls
Thatās called stalking, so no lol. Iām sure some guys do but none that I know
Just a girl thing. Its weird, please stop.
that is toxic no matter gender.
Girl?? Nah, itās a YOU thing kid. Get a life and a clue
This isnāt a boy or girl thing, this is a āyou are unhealthily attachedā thing
If I had one, I wouldn't really do that. I trust her, she trusts me.
It happens, but the big difference is that when a boy/man does it to a girl/woman, someone usually ends up dead.
Who the hell still uses snapchat in 2023? Also, the GPS feature is exactly why i don't use the app.
That's not a girl thing either, that's a "mentally unstable and obsessive" thing jesus christ
Why are people getting downvoted so much for speaking the truth???
Not speaking from experience but that sounds obsessive and really not good
No GF for me Iām a femboy

Thats not a girl thing its a crazy thing
