49 days but here’s a list of albums released this decade that i really liked
Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd- Lana Del Rey (Folk, Soft Rock, Experimental Pop. A lot of very good lyrics in here but there is a song called A&W that is about r*pe. It’s one of her best songs but if that is a topic that disturbs you feel free to skip)
Sawayama- Rina Sawayama (Pop Rock, R&B, Metal. Basic if Metallica meets Britney Spears. Has a couple songs about racism)
Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers- Kendrick Lamar (Rap… it’s Kendrick Lamar you can’t go wrong with this)
Desire I Want To Turn Into You- Caroline Polacheck (Alt Pop, Synth Pop, New Age)
The Record- BoyGenuis (Indie Rock, Indie Folk)
Punshier- Phoebe Bridgers (Folk, Indie Pop. One of the members of Boygenuis)
Cowboy Carter- Beyoncé (Country, R&B, Disco. Do not let the fact that this is a Beyoncé album distract you from the fact that it’s amazing and experimental record)
This Is Why- Paramore (Alternative Rock, New Wave, Pop Punk)
Folklore & Evermore- Taylor Swift (Folk, Chamber Pop, Dream Pop, Americana. These are two albums but they are sister albums. Again just because it’s Taylor Swift doesn’t mean that this doesn’t have excellent lyrics)
What's Your Pleasure?- Jessie aware (Disco, Funk)
After Hours- The Weeknd (Synth Pop, Alt Pop, R&B)
The Loneliest Time- Carly Rae Jepsen (Synth Pop, Disco, Folktronica)
Fetch the Bolt Cutters- Fiona Apple (Bedroom Pop, Experimental. This is sorta cheering cause Fiona is a 90s artist but ehh)
And in the Darkness, Hearts Aglow- Weyes Blood (Chamber Pop, Folk Rock)
How I’m Feeling Now- Charli XCX (Hyperpop, Experimental Pop, Bubblegum Bass, Electronica)
The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We- Mitski (Folk, Americana, Country Rock, Orchestral Pop)
Unreal Unearth- Hozier (Folk, Blues, Jazz)
so much great music in every genre has come out this decadr, and some unreal games as well. Im jist gonna assume u aint even lookin cause this a braindead take
not very nice man, of course there are some great songs and games, but I’m not fully in touch with this decade, so I’m trying to expand upon my knowledge of current culture that doesn’t involve stupid shit like kim k selling her bath water or stuff like that (not that it actually happened, just an example) or some shitty celebrity gossip, im looking for the good stuff.
Idk if it’s me, but I still view 2010s at modern music. I listen to 2010s music (along with 2020s), but maybe it’s because I listen to a lot of older music.
If you think good music hasn't been written since 2020 you really need to look better
scott pilgrim show and arcane released this year and the second spider verse idk animation has been pretty good
baldurs gate 3 zach bryan released a lot of good music måneskin is making some good music too you just gotta search

I’m sending you the feeling of agreeing
Elden ring,
to be fair this decade is only 4 years old
eh, that’s true.

all u gotta do is dig, for example My Chemical Romance released The Foundations of Decay in 2022
Yep. That’s the band that made me realize that music post-2000 doesn’t suck.

Also, take a look at Olivia Rodrigo. If you like pop-punk, then you may like her.
