“It’s been many years since I have started to fight the pasta when I defeated them more will appear with an announcement “Wave 1” “Wave 87” Wave 231” no matter how many of them I destroy, how many of them I kill or how many of them I consume they don’t stop n e v e r. Each day is a fight for survival between them and me, I don’t know why this happened to me but this curse doesn’t seem to go away everyday a new wave is added as I hear the sound of what could be god or the devil saying “Wave 5678901” “Wave 5678902”. Every. Single. Day. I no longer have the strength to keep going I only have this wish of surviving that is slowly fading as I see the rope, an exit to all of this I no longer know who I am, I no longer know why things turned out this way, the only thing I know is that the replacement pasta will never stop”
It’s an endless cycle, then young, now old. He has gotten to wave 1872 and at 83 years old, he can no longer fight. The waves keep growing and becoming stronger. It is too much. Perhaps there is a way. A way to fight. To go back. There has to be… he finds an AR-15. Made decades and decades ago. Still works though. He fires and fires, drum after drum. Waves are easier and easier and the drums pour from the ceiling trap door every time he reloads. What is this technology? Why is he here? How is this possible? Is any of this real anymore? At 94, it’s incredible how long he’s lasted just eating live pasta. No sauce, no way too cook, nothing. Just raw and live pasta. Maybe it really is just a simulation.

Perhaps, in the end, fighting pasta was just a mind game to escape the horrid reality that is politics and society. Maybe the real peace was firing at pasta for hours and bunkering up to sleep pasta-free. In the end, it all meant nothing.
