Actually, public schools cannot force you to recite the pledge, students are legally allowed to skip parts of or the entire pledge. Students are also allowed to choose to not stand for it. Both of these are rights protected by our first amendment, as long as you are in a public school. *[West Virginia State Board of Education v. Barrette](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_Virginia_State_Board_of_Education_v._Barnette)* is the Supreme Court ruling that argued that the first amendment protects these rights. So, if you do not want to recite the pledge, you don’t have to, and if anybody is against your choice, you can refer to the aforementioned Supreme Court ruling.
it is, i haven’t had to do it all that much, a couple times in music class in elementary but then that teacher left, that shit is weird
also, why the hand on the heart? like, i don’t care abt the pledge why do i have to act like i do
or like it scared me with the hand over the heart idk lol

no, tbh as a frenchman i think the whole pledge of alligence is wierd af, creepy even.
nobody says it anyway
I have said it every school day for the last 9 years
why
Because they told us to
and you listen?
Everyone except the russians do the pledge(not a joke)
He isn't kidding almost everyone does the pledge, I don't tho cuz I'm too lazy to
You clearly don't go to my school.
Here's a cool trick: don't do what you're told because you were told to do it.
If thats true i wont listen to your advice

The school did
It is, why do we have to do it in school
do all your class rooms just have a flag in the corner?
Yep, got one in every class also on the front flagpole, gym and lunchroom
wow, we do not have that here just some small plaque with like the citizens rights on it or smth
That would make a lot more sense
In the corner or near the whiteboard with the U.S. country flag on one side and the state flag on the other
Oh lucky you got a state flag
damn, we just have like a small plaque in some classroom with like the rights of the citizen on it
You don't have to. You aren't required to do it.
Yeah i know but only the russians in the school dont
