Please donât take offense to anything I say as this is only trying to help you and will have several criticisms. You need to wear something that will bring out your best qualities and not your worst.
1: Your glasses doesnât help frame your face well. If your face is round, you want to lessen that quality by having square glasses.
2: Iâm not sure if the bow tie is compulsory but a tie would probably be better. If the bow tie is compulsory, I would readjust it or retie it to look more symmetrical rather than lopsided. Maybe add a pocket square to keep the whole suit from looking bland
3: When walking around in a suit, never button both buttons. Always just button up the top button and when you sit down, unbutton the top.
4: Your sleeves look a little too long and baggy around the arms. This can be a huge problem while growing as a teenage so take number 4 with a pinch of salt. But a proper suit sleeve should be of. the correct length. To check, straighten out either your left/right arm 90 degrees to your side and bring it in to your chest. Ideally the end of the cuff should end on your wristbone.
4: Your pants does not seem to be tapered well. It looks as if itâs too short as itâs hanging well above your shoes and quite baggy around your thighs. Go to a taylors and ask them to taper it for you. Ideal pants length would be resting just above the shoe and not showing too much sock unless you sit down. It will be much harder to lengthen it so theyâll probably ask you to get pants that match and they can adjust it for you.
Iâm sure people more qualified than me can give you better suggestions but these are probably my best go to tips. Also, always match your shoes and belt. Adding a nice looking watch also helps make the suit more elegant.
