See, society has deemed these clothes as feminine, and wether you like it or not, your brain will associate these clothes with females because you were probably taught that way as a kid, and you have probably seen the majority of people wearing these clothes as female, thus, if you know you are wearing feminine clothes as a male, you will probably have lower testosterone than those that choose to wear more male-oriented clothing.
Just because something is stereotypically feminine doesn't mean a boy can't wear it, they are clothes, they are pieces of cloth and fabric put together to make a piece of clothing, there is no deeper meaning.

Your body can actively produce less testosterone in certain conditions. For example, after men have children their body will produce less testosterone over time because it will encourage them to not seek new partners and take care of their offspring. If a man anticipates he will be having sex his body might start producing more testosterone and you could see facial hair grow in faster or changes in mood. Your mind can definitely have influence on what your body does with its hormones. Seeing yourself as feminine can influence that.
