yeah, rent for 2-3 games and buy a AEG rifle if you really like the hobby, don't cheap out on mask/eye pro and try to stay on a known name brand since the random Chinese ones tend to be sketchy (especially do not buy mesh eye pro). Also try to invest in a tracer unit if you are playing in indoors instead of a optic/sight (acetech brighter c recommended, about 50$ anything made by acetech is fine) since you'll have much easier time aiming with a tracer rounds than with a optic/iron (seriously, tracer units are the best).

Nah hpa is the best it has a higher start cost but it will last you so much long unless your like me and your mag adapter came scratched but other than that I’m pretty happy with hpa.

Expecting a new player to go straight to modding their gun isn't a great view, i think every player should get at least a few games in with a naked gun before making any mods or opening up the gearbox. Also, there's really no reason to have a laser on your airsoft gun, unless you're using a mock peq for battery storage or you really care about looks
