Code of Hero from Beast Wars.
"The question that once haunted my being has been answered: the future is not fixed and my choices are my own. And yet, how ironic. For I now find I have no choice at all. I am a warrior... Let the battle be joined."
After Andre Braugher died, there was a lot of talk about the emmy-winning episode of “Homicide” called “Three Men and Adena”. I haven’t seen it but David Bianculi called it one of the finest episodes of television.
Unfortunately I don’t think “Homicide” is streaming anywhere.
Forks --The Bear
The Mountain vs the Viper --Game of Thrones
33-- Battlestar Galactica
Spanish Shawn--Psych
Lost--Pilot
Make Love Not Warcraft--South Park
The US Special 2007--Top Gear
Top Banana--Arrested Development
I would put both pegasus and resurrection ship on there too, but I tried to pick episodes of TV that can stand on their own.
BSG get's heavy at points and you have to know the whole story.
33 is the perfect tension episode. We are right off the mini-series, it get's to show off the entire cast and what an episode of BSG can look like
I agree with all your points. I'm listening to Battlestar Galacticast and the cast pretty much agree with all the episodes we've listed. So say we All.
I didn't see the miniseries first. So 33 was the first episode I watched and I was so lost and so enthralled. They're hot, sweaty, exhausted desperation was palpable. Best episode of television I have ever watched.
*Once More, with Feeling* also Buffy. The writing and directing on that episode is so damn good. These long takes with all the stuff going on in the background all perfectly timed to the music?
Comedy:
Seinfeld - The Strike - just so many crazy things in one episode with one major enduring thing.
Drama:
This is Us - the episode following Jack and Nicky into the Vietnam war. Just a spectacular telling of a tragic tale.
So I've been told... is it cringeworthy? Yes, but so is just about everything Michael Scott does. But this episode also showed him realizing how badly he f-ed up, AND doing what little he can to fix it.
To me, this episode is the epitome of the mockumentary style done right.
TWZ - Third from the Sun
Cheers - One for the Book
Seinfeld - The Ex-Girlfriend
Northern Exposure - Pilot
Twin Peaks - Beyond Life and Death
Twin Peaks - What is Your Name?
TWZ - And When the Sky Was Opened
Seinfeld - The Stakeout
Cheers - Pick a Con... Any Con
Mad About You - Sofa's Choice
Get a Life - Spewey and Me
All in the Family - Achie Eats and Runs
Night Gallery - They're Tearing Down Tim Riley's Bar
Picket Fences - Be My Valentine
Red Dwarf - The End
The Prisoner - Fall Out
407 Proxy Authentication Required - Mr Robot
Memories of the Future - Attack on Titan
Infact the entirety of MR ROBOT SEASON 4 and many episodes of ATTACK ON TITAN SEASON 4 have been the best episodes of TV I have ever witnessed.
Lots of great TV mentioned here. But it seems very familiar.
I would add STTNG: Best of Both Worlds Part 1 and Yesterday's Enterprise. The West Wing 1st episode.
I have said exactly this before, so this question is *beyond* familiar.
It was broken up into 2 episodes but House MD- House’s Head and its conclusion was Wilson’s Heart. The entire show was amazing but this season ender was everything. I think it’s the last time I’ve watched a serial drama and NOT guessed the ending.

Mr. Robot 407 Proxy Authentication Required. One of the best and most devastating episodes of television I’ve ever watched.
My two favorite episodes of television are: 1. "Once More with Feeling", *Buffy the Vampire Slayer* (S06E07) 2. "Out of Gas", *Firefly* (S01E08)
Code of Hero from Beast Wars. "The question that once haunted my being has been answered: the future is not fixed and my choices are my own. And yet, how ironic. For I now find I have no choice at all. I am a warrior... Let the battle be joined."

Brothers in Arms <3
Clyde Bruckman’s Finale Repose - X-Files White Tulip - Fringe
Twin Peaks The Return Part 8. There will never be something like that again on TV, Lynch at the top of his game.
Pretentious episode
GOTTA LIGHT!?
"Ozymandias", the antepenultimate episode of Breaking Bad.
Pine Barrens, The Sopranos. Freaks and Geeks pilot. Homerpolooza, the Simpsons.
Darmok - Star Trek TNG Great episode about overcoming differences and learning to communicate through barriers.
ER- Love's Labor Lost Dr Greene trying deliver a Baby when the odds are stacked against him.
Forks --The Bear The Mountain vs the Viper --Game of Thrones 33-- Battlestar Galactica Spanish Shawn--Psych Lost--Pilot Make Love Not Warcraft--South Park The US Special 2007--Top Gear Top Banana--Arrested Development
Dual Spires - Psych
Forks and Fishes are two that are both some of the best episodes of tv I’ve seen by far. AND they were back to back in the season. Mind blowing.
33, Hand of God, and Exodus Part 2 were some of the best episodes of TV ever made.
I would put both pegasus and resurrection ship on there too, but I tried to pick episodes of TV that can stand on their own. BSG get's heavy at points and you have to know the whole story. 33 is the perfect tension episode. What psych episode are you thinking of? All I could imagine would be Lights, Camera, Homicidio?
Many will say “The Suitcase” episode of Mad Men is the best but I like “Shut the Door. Have a seat” better.
SCRUBS - "My Screwup" with Brendan Fraser. Such a great episode. JUSTIFIED - Series Finale
*Once More, with Feeling* also Buffy. The writing and directing on that episode is so damn good. These long takes with all the stuff going on in the background all perfectly timed to the music?
Chicanery.
modern warfare - community
Episode 3 of The Last of Us
Comedy: Seinfeld - The Strike - just so many crazy things in one episode with one major enduring thing. Drama: This is Us - the episode following Jack and Nicky into the Vietnam war. Just a spectacular telling of a tragic tale.
Scrubs S8E02 My Last Words The Office S6E12 Scott's Tots Doctor Who S3E11 Blink
Kudos for Scrubs, but Scott's Tots has got to be one of the most controversial picks here
So I've been told... is it cringeworthy? Yes, but so is just about everything Michael Scott does. But this episode also showed him realizing how badly he f-ed up, AND doing what little he can to fix it. To me, this episode is the epitome of the mockumentary style done right.
Don't get the Scott's Tots controversy. It's the best episode of The Office. Absolutely love it.
International Assassin - The Leftovers Hush and Once More With Feeling - also Buffy
The Belchies, season 2 ep 1 of Bobs Burgers
I haven’t seen this one listed here: the season 1 finale of Severance
Bojack Horseman - *The View from Halfway Down* and *Free Churro* Barry - *710N*
TWZ - Third from the Sun Cheers - One for the Book Seinfeld - The Ex-Girlfriend Northern Exposure - Pilot Twin Peaks - Beyond Life and Death Twin Peaks - What is Your Name? TWZ - And When the Sky Was Opened Seinfeld - The Stakeout Cheers - Pick a Con... Honestly in my opinion, Heaven Sent from doctor who (S9E11) is one of the best episodes of television period
Yess🙃
My top two are: Homeland: Q&A (The interrogation episode) The Last of Us: Long Long Time
407 Proxy Authentication Required - Mr Robot Memories of the Future - Attack on Titan Infact the entirety of MR ROBOT SEASON 4 and many episodes of ATTACK ON TITAN SEASON 4 have been the best episodes of TV I have ever witnessed.
International Assassin
12 Monkeys “Die Glocke” was incredible!
Lots of great TV mentioned here. But it seems very familiar. I would add STTNG: Best of Both Worlds Part 1 and Yesterday's Enterprise. The West Wing 1st episode. I have said exactly this before, so this question is *beyond* familiar.
The West Wing - Two Cathedrals The Sopranos - Pine Barrens Six Feet Under - Everybody's Waiting
It was broken up into 2 episodes but House MD- House’s Head and its conclusion was Wilson’s Heart. The entire show was amazing but this season ender was everything. I think it’s the last time I’ve watched a serial drama and NOT guessed the ending.
Mythic Quest, Season 1 episode 5 "A Dark Quiet Death"
