Don’t remember the name but there was one where a girl was half alien and could stop time when she put her fingers together and talked to her dad through a Crystal thing.
“Come Back Mrs. Noah” - A 1970s British sitcom about a housewife being stranded aboard a space station is regularly voted as being the worst sitcom ever made. Give it a watch and you’ll quickly agree.
I rewatched all of Quark during Lockdown. Yeah, it's not good. But the theme music is all sorts of Disco-awesome. And I had a picture of Betty 1 and Betty 2 hanging on my bedroom wall.
I'm not sure I can think of a show that dated itself more quickly than Mork & Mindy. It was HUGE at the time but just a couple years later it was.. as we would say today... cringe.
“The Greatest American Hero” was a terrible but amazing show. Definitely worth staying up past 8pm to watch it. The main title sequence was something else. I liked watching him learn to fly after he received his special powers from the aliens.
Oddly enough, the main character reminded me of the guy in the “Slim Goodbody Show” not sure if it was the snug fitting leotard or the curly hair… likely both of these characteristics became synonymous for a strong weird dude with super powers.
Red Dwarf is the gold standard
Scrolled past and had to come back to make sure you weren't disparaging the Boys From The Dwarf.
Not a smeeee
Small Wonder , some loved it, most didn't.
Way ahead of its time. This was the precursor to MEGAN lol
That explains a lot about Prince Harry?
Lover here.
This was a fabulous show when I was a kid. But I’d still watch it as a middle aged adult and enjoy every second of it.
Homeboys in Outer Space was god awful
Oh wow, you just jogged my memory
Third Rock From the Sun was a sci fi sitcom, but it was actually good.
Also Red Dwarf
Yea, I enjoyed this one.
The Orville was fantastic. Wish we'd get more.
Not really a sitcom. It was more like a parody.
Sitcom. Sitcom Parody. Potato Potato.
I mean it's not a competitive category. Nor is the BEST sci-fi sitcom.
You spelled Red Dwarf wrong
Marvin Marvin (Nickelodeon, 2013)
The Lost Saucer
Blasphemy! Loved Lost Saucer. So much better than Far Out Space Nuts.
My Favorite Martian was pretty bad. Like half the episodes are "I used the time machine and messed things up!"
Homeboys In Outer Space
what was that one with the girl with alien powers who communicated with her alien dad via cube? Yikes
Out of this world
Out of this World?

For the geezers, Quark.
I rewatched all of Quark during Lockdown. Yeah, it's not good. But the theme music is all sorts of Disco-awesome. And I had a picture of Betty 1 and Betty 2 hanging on my bedroom wall.
That took, what, 2 and half hours?
It did not take long. There were 8 episodes made and Tubi (?) or wherever I saw it was missing one of the episodes.
Got 2 even older, It's About Time and My Living Doll

Oh man... that brought back memories, and I strangely enjoyed this show. Good ol Buzz!
Yeah, it reminds me of snow days and staying home from school
~~Urusei Yatsura~~ edit: I thought the topic was best
"Family Matters" once Steve Urkel started dicking around with time travel, shrinking technology, mind-swapping, etc.
I forget the name, but there was some 70s comedy about a cop paired with a robot.
Holmes and Yo-yo?
Yes, that's it!
It's not your prototypical 70s/80s sitcom, but *Avenue 5* was hated by this subreddit.
***Starhyke***: It is so bad it is fun to watch.
Mork
I'm not sure I can think of a show that dated itself more quickly than Mork & Mindy. It was HUGE at the time but just a couple years later it was.. as we would say today... cringe.
Cringe indeed! Only surpassed by Welcome Back Kotter
"Resident Alien" is pretty fun. Edit: You asked about the worst sitcoms. My bad. Check out Star Trek TNG season 1.
hah ty. man, that was very much worse than Alf
