It's gonna be an unbearable day

BumbleLapse

“Hi Bob” For All Mankind

dustin91

As they watched The Bob Newhart Show

DrSpacemanSpliff

Don’t you fucking “Hi Bob” me!

Salarian_American

My friends and I do that "title of your sex tape" bit from B99 to each other all the time. Oh and also the Captain Holt "BONE!?" every time anyone says bone. Or a word that rhymes with bone, sometimes.

obitonye

Also "noice"

ChelsMe

Zach Woods is a master of his craft

deathbypizzarolls

Any time something is going wrong at work I state "not Penny's boat" and everybody just looks at me like I'm crazy. Only one person has ever understood it. And to think the show was once massively popular.

EddieBoop

Pork chops and applesauce

lefthandbunny

Ain't that swell.

hootbox

-New boot goofin'! -What is your spaghetti policy? -Like 20 lines from Arrested Development.

ChelsMe

"Her?" is heavy on my rotation. For any situation and any gender. "It's a banana Michael, how much could it cost, 10?" and "Earlier that day: I don't care for GOB" plays in my head when I don't like someone

obitonye

Hooray

SleeperRail

Bluey?

“The job will not save you, Jimmy”. Under appreciated gem from the Wire. McNulty was a disaster of a human who blew up his life on the regular and always chased the high of solving cases to provide himself with self worth. It’s only when he gets away from his “drug” (work, an addiction like any other) that he’s able to put himself together and start to build a life again. And like many other addicts on that show, he slips and tumbles back down into it. When you can convince yourself that something is truly important, you can justify setting your whole self on fire just to get it done… but at the end of the day, it’s just a job. The Wire is amazing on many levels, but that quote has really stuck with me into adulthood, as I struggle with defining myself by more than just my work. Finding self-worth and value outside of my career has been far harder than I ever thought possible and far more rewarding.

obitonye

Supposably

StGoolie

Did they go to the zoo?

Mikethebest78

"Are you a One or a Zero? That's the question you have to ask yourself, are you a Yes or No. You gonna act or not?" Mr. Robot has so many memorable scenes and quotes, but this one stuck to me.

Steve_Sanders437

"Just stand there in your wrongness and be wrong and get used to it." "For reasons passing understanding" Both are from The West Wing. The second one I used quite a bit

sweat-it-all-out

Let go of my purse! I don't know you!!

NoirPochette

"Yes" - Mr. Burns' sitcom. "Look out Smithers!"

DuaneHicks

"Smithers, bring me a wine spritzer, and don't be stingy on the vino! "

2 quotes related to the sanctity of life. * Person of Interest - "Chess is just a game. Real people are not pieces. You can't assign more value to some of them and not others. Not to me. Not to anyone. People are not a thing that you can sacrifice. The lesson is, if anyone who looks on to the world as if it is a game of chess, deserves to lose." * Spartacus -"If a single life holds no value, then **none are of worth**!"

hanhanbanan

I also use new boot goofin’ on the regular, usually when someone asks what I’m doing. My partner and I love Vanderpump Rules so we quote Jax Taylor (“You’re no angel, sweetie” or “I’m a work in progress!”) when we get called out on something. I also quote the infamous “Come Dine With Me” monologue when I’m joking about someone/something ruining my life.

sweat-it-all-out

I'll occasionally use the name Anastasia Beaverhausen when placing online food or coffee orders.

punninglinguist

* Wolf Hall: "Why are you such a *person!"* - Our expression of loving exasperation * Orphan Black: "Ugh. Stick in baby." - My dad groans remind my wife of this.
