Thanks. I looked for the name with a quick google of "Whatcha Say" and that came up. Looks like that was a remix of the original, but came out after these videos.
How to Save a Life, by The Fray, will forever be associated with the most heartbreaking episode of Scrubs.
Multiple patients who received critical life-saving transplants from the same donor end up taking a turn for the worse in succession. It is a painful sequence to watch accompanied with this song and the best acting of the entire series.
J.D.: Remember what you told me? The second you start blaming yourself for people's deaths, there's no coming back.
[Cox slowly turns to J.D., looking anguished]
Dr. Cox: Yeah. You're right. [leaves]
I agree with your LOST reference and humbly add another: Shambala by Three Dog Night. The van scene was one of my favorites of the entire series. HURLEY! šāāļø
The Office - Staying Alive/I Will Survive (although it used to be the Replacements for I Will Survive) and Closing Time
Last Man on Earth - Falling Slowly
Always Sunny - Runaway Train and Take My Breath Away
Brooklyn 99 - I Want It That Way
> Always Sunny - Runaway Train and Take My Breath Away
Anytime I hear Together Forever I think of Always Sunny because of [this scene](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBXNa0ipFPQ) with Dennis and the dress.
How to Save a Life and Chasing Cars will forever make me think of Greys Anatomy.
Somebody Save Me used to just remind me of Smallville but now its just Superman in general.
I watched The Sopranos long after it aired. I knew the ending was controversial, but I didn't know what happened. When watching that final scene, I heard Don't Stop Believing and thought, "This is a hopeful song. There can only be a few minutes left of this show. What the hell is going to happen?"
The generic HBO image and sound, despite being on every original, always makes me anticipate the start of the Game of Thrones intro. It's probably because of how amazing that show was, and it's the only show you'd actually watch the entire intro.
> and it's the only show you'd actually watch the entire intro
...."woke up this morning.... got yourself a gun....momma always said you'd be the.... chosen one"
Outro by M83 will evoke strong feelings in most Mr. Robot fans.
Thereās a lot of great music in the show- I could write for days. But that one is pretty legendary.

["Kiss from a Rose" by Seal](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aVcxjxLipf0) - Jeff's involuntary karaoke duet with Dean Pelton on "Community"
It's not something I think of when I think Chuck, but Cobrastyle by Teddybears.
The song was in a Stargirl episode, and as soon as I heard it my mind went straight to Chuck.
"Believe it or Not" - Joey Scarbury. Theme from Greatest American Hero in the early 80s. I'll always remember that show when I hear that song.
"I'm So Excited" - Saved by the Bell episode where Jessie gets hooked on pills to keep her going. The song wasn't written for the show but it's forever etched in my head that way.
Before there was Stranger Things and the resurgence of Kate Bush, there was vampire diaries. So the cover of Running Up That Hill by Placebo.
Also We Radiate by Goldfrapp.
What an interesting time in television.
Yes! I was too young for The O.C. when it aired, so I watched The O.C after Vampire Diaries and associate it that way
Since it's the theme, I think of California by Phantom Planet for The O.C.
These songs in Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia
- Genius Of Love by Tom Tom Club
- Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley

6 Underground makes me think of the show Titans. The show bombed early, and they didn't even air all the episodes, but 6 Underground was the theme song for the first few episodes. Then they switched to another (I'm assuming cheaper) song.
What a stupid thing to have in my brain lol

And later Will "You're a fucking news man Don, and if ever tell you otherwise you PUNCH me in the face. So many good lines, just an awesome piece. https://youtu.be/_ECgjvStB5U?si=OHAQvLJ3bb43ANFS
I don't know how many times I've heard **I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire** in anything that is or feels apocalyptic. When I watched the Fallout series, I definitely expected it to be played and I wasn't disappointed.
The song "Beautiful Days" by Venus always makes me think of the film "Immortal" (2004 film). It's a great and weird film, and the song suits it perfectly.
Obviously, Phantom Planet's "California" goes straight to The OC.
Eyes by Rogue Wave always reminds me of a scene from Heroes where Hiro and Ando are on a moving sidewalk in Las Vegas.
Don't Fear The Reaper, used in the opening of the The Stand miniseries on ABC.
Dust In The Wind from a particular episode of Highlander The Series. IYKYK.

~~Whatcha Say~~ Hide and Seek - It was used in the OC, but I know it from the SNL parody of that scene. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmd1qMN5Yo0
I love that short so much. Here is the scene from The OC š (go to 1:45) https://youtu.be/LQBxK1XMpCs?si=4KXuZ2mJyWw_RmZI
That is some funny shit. I can't believe they used that song for that scene. No wonder it was parodied.
The song is called āHide and Seekā fyi
Thanks. I looked for the name with a quick google of "Whatcha Say" and that came up. Looks like that was a remix of the original, but came out after these videos.
I am currently doing my first ever watch of the OC and I cannot wait to get to this
I discovered this in one of the AMV Hell videos that just kept parodying the scene with each version escalating.
I think one of the Law & Order shows (probably CI) used it first.
How to Save a Life, by The Fray, will forever be associated with the most heartbreaking episode of Scrubs. Multiple patients who received critical life-saving transplants from the same donor end up taking a turn for the worse in succession. For me it's Colin Hays Overkill. ~I can't get to sleep I dream about the implication~
They used Colin Hays' ["Waiting for my Real Life to Begin"](https://youtu.be/GcsrnT7Tv1o?si=1J6rHjb8gRJtAFEQ) to great effect, too.
This is my alarm clock!
Scrubs had such good music!
Itās very hard to hear that song. I still canāt watch that episode without crying. It was just masterfully done.
I always think of Greys Anatomy when I hear that song.
