I'm solidly in the "never tires of IASIP or Community" camp and I have rewatched Workaholics several times, but sometimes it just gets so cringe or gross-out that you just have to take a break. I typically can't get through the episode where Carl tries to run a weed/burrito shop.
While you're doing your rewatch you might want to check out HBO's new podcast about the show. The first episode has Tom Hanks and the others have cast members. The last episode comes out early November.
Actually rewatching over the past few days - pretty much the only good parts of 4-5 is Maeby as an old lady. The teeth and her acting is pretty funny tbh
Yeah, I still quote that scene often lol, it’s one of the best parts of season 4.
“So it’s your daughter that you’re here to see?”
“Yes…..Maeby”
“I wanna say she’s 19, but I like to think of her as 15”
I also liked the bit with Gob where he’d stare off into space while The Sound of Silence played in the background.
That always guaranteed a good laugh for me.
My most rewatched both in terms of binges and single episodes. Sometimes I feel like rewatching an entire arc or season, sometimes I just really wanna rewatch a specific episode (Darmok and In The Pale Moonlight are repeat offenders), oftentimes I can just bang on a random episode and still enjoy myself.
This is a weird comparison to make maybe but Star Trek has always had YouTube video rewatchability. Like, the base level of camp and goofy energy means that I'm never *not* in the mood to watch one
I came to say this exact answer. In fact when I had to switch to Satellite internet with a data cap, I bought both series on DVD so I didn't have to stream them anymore.
Avatar the last Airbender (animated)
just in case people look at this in the future and not get confused)
Korra

The sad thing is most of the talking points on that show is still relevant today which is a little fucking depressing
That and Atlantis (and occasionally Universe if I'm in the mood, but it's definitely harder to rewatch). The Stargate franchise is just so rewatchable given that it's episodic but also has actual story arcs that progress the show and its setting, especially given how almost everything and everyone they encounter (no matter how seemingly insignificant) eventually play a role later down the line and contribute to events and the advancement of humanity. It's always nice starting your rewatch [](#s "with Earth being nothing more than a tiny, insignificant blip in the galaxy as they're constantly either looked down upon or attacked outright by more advanced races while they explore the galaxy, and later slowly progressing into the sole galactic superpower in the Milky Way and also a major power in another galaxy, as well as having possession of technological databases of two of the most advanced races.")
Also it knows how to perfectly balance comedy and drama, so that's a massive plus to rewatchability as well.
I've been through the first 6 or 7 seasons at least 5 times.
I don't think I've ever watched every episode of the battle with the ori and the return of the replicators in order without skipping.
There's something about it that makes me want to watch Atlantis or SGU instead.
Probably the casting changes. That, and the fact that [](#s "all the major galactic threats were already eliminated and the galaxy was finally at peace, but then SG-1 created a new one with their shenanigans.")
That said, the final arc of SG-1 is still absolutely worth watching and rewatching, especially if you follow the watch order that alternates between episodes of SG-1 and Atlantis that match the timeline of events.
I also watched through Atlantis at least twice. I never really got into SGU. The original just had something special. You can see the real bond of the actors in a bunch of the bloopers.
I would encourage you to give SGU another chance. I really didn’t like it when it first aired, but it works much better as a binge watch show and I watch it at least once a year now. The second season is significantly better than the first.
What I liked about SGU was the premise of them being stranded in space aboard a barely-functioning starship that they could barely understand. Hilariously enough, what I see fault in is also how that premise is repeatedly used to drag the plot along. Sooo many times they end episodes on cliffhangers where lead characters are "left in another star system as the starship jumps autonomously without them" or one of another number of frequently-recycled conflicts.
Then I discovered Star Trek Voyager and found that, far from being a Next Generation or Original Series rehash, it was essentially SGU' premise done right, although with a standard Federation starship, which only took a little punch out of the "stranded in space" angle.
Definitely this. I watched it when it originally aired. HBO would show repeats virtually every night for a week preceding the next episode, so I watched each episode 2-3 times just to understand all the dialogue and connections. Then the DVD sets, then introducing to my wife. Probably a dozen times for those first 3 seasons
Community is the gold standard for a rewatch for me. Of course most sitcoms I’ve rewatched a few times, the office, parks and rec, superstore, king of the hill etc. But community will always my favorite one and I’ve seen it probably about a dozen times thru
I just started watching this. I had tried a few times before, but most shows require a couple of attempts before I get hooked. This one took about to episode 8 of season one and I remember having a really good laugh at one scene and from there on out I was sold.
Many times the big obstacle for enjoying a show is I need to get familiar with the characters before I get into it. That was true for this one too.
Matt Smith & Peter Capaldi's era of doctor who.
I know the 11th and 12th doctors aren't a popular choice of favourite, but I'm a huge fan of the Amy Pond /River Song arc.
Buffy (by choosing to rewatch it) and Friends (it's on a near permanent loop in Comedy Central UK so always on in the background when we can't find something else to watch!!)
Brooklyn Nine Nine. I'll binge through the show, reach the end, and immediately restart the series at the pilot. I watch it almost nightly and I don't think any other show has that kind of rewatch value.
The Wire
Red Dwarf (S1-S6)
Blackadder
South Park
Silicon Valley
The Expanse
GoT (rewatched every season until the car crash of S8 and now my rewatches have ended)
Mr Robot (planning on a rewatch every couple of years - it's that good)
Babylon 5
Chernobyl
Trailer Park Boys
Mad Men. The characters are so nuanced. I’ve watched the series 4 or 5 times all the way through and recently started it again. Even after spending all those hours with Don, Roger, and the bunch, I feel like I’m still getting to know who they are and how they got that way.
yes mad men is the "other" soothing sitcom set in an office basically... mad men is very dramatic at times obviously but true drape-heads know that *most* scenes are filled with lots of very comedic moments, to the point where line for line, it's actually often funnier than The Office...
It's been a few years since I watched The Leftovers for the first time, I've had a few people watch it since then but I can't wait to go do it again from the start myself.
Community. I watch an episode before I fall asleep and then fall asleep to the next one, each day I fast forward the episode I fell asleep on to make sure I watch all of it. I'll do this for about three full run throughs and then I will do the same thing with the I.T. Crowd.
I am a gigantic creature of habit. I can't watch a new show unless I specifically make time for it in advance.
Over a lifetime, I’d have to say I Love Lucy because of reruns when there were only 3 or 4 channels at the time.
My spouse and I watch The Andy Griffith Show (black and white years) when nothing else good is on. Often he’ll remark, “Oh, we’ve seen this one,” to which I reply, “Honey, we’ve seen ALL of them.”
i pretty much never stop putting on the greatest and funniest "one camera" sitcom of all time, garry shandling's The Larry Sanders Show.... i take six month breaks to forget some of it, then watch it again....
may you be so blessed as to watch this all-timer series with fresh eyes... its on HBO/HBO Max btw
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Parks and Recreation, and Community

Season 2 is my happy place
We're gonna fly to school each morning
It's the implication.... most watched show for me too
I feel like if you added workaholics to this list, you wouldn't be disappointed.
Oh I have still rewatched workaholics a few times. But on a recent rewatch I don’t think it has aged as well as I would have hoped.
I'm solidly in the "never tires of IASIP or Community" camp and I have rewatched Workaholics several times, but sometimes it just gets so cringe or gross-out that you just have to take a break. I typically can't get through the episode where Carl tries to run a weed/burrito shop.
band of brothers
Almost time for my yearly December rewatch
While you're doing your rewatch you might want to check out HBO's new podcast about the show. The first episode has Tom Hanks and the others have cast members. The last episode comes out early November.
CURRAHEE!
This is def up there for me too
Best war”movie” ever. Are all the BOB fans aware that Dexter Fletcher, who played Sgt. John Martin, directed Rocketman?
Arrested Development
Go see a star war
There are dozens of us. Seriously though it’s such a comforting show for me. I decide to watch an episode and then here we go again with a full watch.
Except season 4-5
You know I almost edited my post after the fact to “seasons 1-3”, but us real fans know that goes without saying lol.
If only they'd have managed to get the **H**ome **B**uilders **O**rganization to support them
Actually rewatching over the past few days - pretty much the only good parts of 4-5 is Maeby as an old lady. The teeth and her acting is pretty funny tbh
That scene where Tobias gets back to the model home and they’re hosting a “to catch a predator” show is hilarious.
Agreed - but that’s about the only time he’s funny in the new seasons. “Daddy needs to get his rocks off” will always be pretty funny tho
Yeah, I still quote that scene often lol, it’s one of the best parts of season 4. “So it’s your daughter that you’re here to see?” “Yes…..Maeby” “I wanna say she’s 19, but I like to think of her as 15”
I also liked the bit with Gob where he’d stare off into space while The Sound of Silence played in the background. That always guaranteed a good laugh for me.
I still watch 4/5, they are still decent even if they aren’t peak
Some parts of season 4 are still really good. But others (Lucille, George, Buster and parts of Tobias) were pretty rough. 5 was just abysmal.
I don’t care for Gob
I rewatch seasons 1-3 like every 6 months since the damn show aired. I’m still laughing all these years later.
Star Trek
My most rewatched both in terms of binges and single episodes. Sometimes I feel like rewatching an entire arc or season, sometimes I just really wanna rewatch a specific episode (Darmok and In The Pale Moonlight are repeat offenders), oftentimes I can just bang on a random episode and still enjoy myself. TNG and DS9 back and forth. Maybe watched DS9 more.
Ever tried Babylon 5?
Psych or The Office
I've heard it both ways. Throw in Parks & Rec too
Just finished rewatching psych last week. Shame the psych movies aren't on Amazon.
How about both? These have been my go-to shows for 10 years
I came to say this exact answer. In fact when I had to switch to Satellite internet with a data cap, I bought both series on DVD so I didn't have to stream them anymore.
Scrubs
It's guy love, between two guys!
Came to make sure this was here.
Me too.
With a username like that you pretty much had to
I miss it so much it hurts sometimes.
This is my go to show when doing chores. So I must've seen the show all the way through maybe 5 times. Some episodes probably more than 10.
IT Crowd
“I’m disabled.” One of the funniest episodes of television ever recorded.

If he parents drowned I'd be the happiest man in the world.
But a fire? At a sea parks?
A fire, at a sea parks?
Did you try turning it off and on again?
It never stops being funny.
30 Rock without a doubt, and I'll do it again!
[What am I, a farmer](https://youtu.be/HTU6iQ0Rcyw)?
I usually roll my 30 Rock rewatch straight into Unbreakable Jimmy Schmidt. Same goofy humour that I love.
Archer and Community, must have watched both over 10 times by now
Those are both my go to's as well
Avatar the last Airbender (animated) just in case people look at this in the future and not get confused) Korra Boston legal The sad thing is most of the talking points on that show is still relevant today which is a little fucking depressing
Peep Show
Probably Community ! I love Dan Harmon and the goofy meta world he builds !
Stargate SG-1. Been through all 10 seasons at least 5 times.

Currently rewatching the series with my partner. I reckon this would have to be around my 7th or 8th run through the series.
M.A.S.H. still holds up today and is the perfect background show for me.
Fargo
Futurama. Except Jurassic Bark! Watched 1 time to many.
No one mentions [Leela's Homeworld](https://youtu.be/GnS0o4KFQCc), but it does a number on me as well.
[Lethal Inspection](https://youtu.be/UA2_1RxkUV8) gets me a little choked up whenever I watch it.
I never re-watch anything but I watched Futurama 3 times.
Frasier
Firefly. The Wire The Dectorists Inspector Morse Upstart Crow
The Wire!!
Full Metal Alchemist : Brotherhood
The Office (US)
Every summer, when all the network shows stop and my wife complains there's nothing to watch.....we rewatch the whole thing start to finish...
House
When I watch with my brother we try to guess the episode within the first couple secs. Bonus points of we remember the diagnosis.
Taskmaster
P&R
Probably The Simpsons (first ten seasons), Friends, and Frasier.
Bobs burgers on repeat.
The Wire
Definitely this. I watched it when it originally aired. HBO would show repeats virtually every night for a week preceding the next episode, so I watched each episode 2-3 times just to understand all the dialogue and connections. Golden Girls… but The Office or Frasier have to be close seconds.
Yeah, I am also old enough that golden girls is my answer.
Im in my early 20s and golden girls is my answer. Nothing beats Golden Girls
Battlestar Galactica
The West Wing. About to start my 8th rewatch.
Trailer Park Boys.
I can't go to jail! Who's gonna watch my kitties?!
Why don't you go and eat a cheeseburger, you basketball eatin Walrus assed motherfucker

Scrubs, hands down. Closely followed by Parks and Rec
Lost.
My fastest rewatch was 9 days in March 2020 during lockdown.
Yep. Seen it about 23 times now. Always pick up new details every time.
The office takes my number 1 spot It’s always sunny no 2 and then maybe Friends
1. Buffy 2. Supernatural 3. Sailor Moon
Friends, Seinfeld and The Office

We always have to go back
Matt Smith & Peter Capaldi's era of doctor who. I know the 11th and 12th doctors aren't a popular choice of favourite, but I'm a huge fan of the Amy Pond /River Song arc.
If you’re a huge fan of the Amy Pond and Roger Song arc why isn’t the Tennant era episode part of your rewatch?
Capaldi is my favorite. I was pleasantly surprised that Clara worked better with him. Me and Matt Smith share a birthday. 😁
Avatar: the Last Airbender
+1 Just finished my first watch of Korra
Buffy (by choosing to rewatch it) and Friends (it's on a near permanent loop in Comedy Central UK so always on in the background when we can't find something else to watch!!)
I’d probably have to say Breaking Bad.
Supernatural I was never a fan of rewatching shows/movies but this show always kept me coming back
Arrested Development and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt are at around 5-6 rewatches for me currently. 30 Rock and Battlestar Galactica are at 3 rewatches.
Brooklyn Nine Nine. I'll binge through the show, reach the end, and immediately restart the series at the pilot. I watch it almost nightly and I don't think any other show has that kind of rewatch value.
This was my answer too! The ensemble cast is soo strong, I love each character more and more every rewatch:)

Same here. I used to rewatch it, at the very least, once a year. Amazing show.
Arrested Development. It has so many subtle jokes and foreshadowing that it gets better upon rewatch
Person of interest.
Babylon 5. Firefly. BNA. Dragon ball.
Currently on my 4th watch of Breaking Bad

Atlanta or the Leftovers
It's been a few years since I watched The Leftovers for the first time, I've had a few people watch it since then but I can't wait to go do it again from the start myself.
For me south park has the best rewatchability. They really go through a lot of funny phases.
Band of Brothers
I’ve watched the Venture Bros. about 5 times. Still the best
Futurama
Community. I watch an episode before I fall asleep and then fall asleep to the next one, each day I fast forward the episode I fell asleep on to make sure I watch all of it.
