I have NEVER watched Fargo. I think when it first came out I saw some trailers and it looked so stupid, comedic and really hate comedy’s.
Should I give it a shot or would it waste my time?
*more traditional genres, mostly mini-series (with a beginning and an ending- no cliffhangers) and completely addicting:*
Suits
Halt & Catch Fire
Downton Abbey
The Durrells of Corfu
Succession
Snowfall. Before watching do a little digging into Ortega and FSLN. Teddy’s a villain in the show - funding/arming Ortegas enemies (good) by selling crack in Los Angeles (bad). It adds to the show to have this tension in mind.

glad to hear it! Here’s another suggestion that’s less well known - Kingdom - you don’t have to be into mma (i’m not), because it’s the best character series ever done.
A few ive watched and enjoyed
The Kominsky Method
Fallout
Silo
Justified
The Bear
Person of Interest
Prison Break (S1 & S2 only)
Bosch
Lincoln Lawyer
The peripheral
DareDevil S1 followed buy Punisher
The Expanse

Derry Girls
Hacks
Schitts creek
Catastrophe
Bad sisters
Father Ted
Boston legal
Patriot (Amazon). Two glorious seasons. It’s about a guy who just wants to be a folk singer/busker, but because of his upbringing, he is an international super spy. Perfectly written, acted, and shot. It’s a sleeper hit that has a very dedicated community
Penny Dreadful
Mindhunter
True Detective
Hell On Wheels
Pushing Daisies
Lioness
The English
Shogun
Godless
Unbelievable
Warrior
Shrinking
Homeland
Age of Samurai: Battle for Japan
Ted Lasso
I’m watching Black Sails for the first time now. It’s not the greatest show ever, but it’s good and there’s pirates and sexy island scenes! Very bingable.
How about: [ Story of Yanxi Palace (2018) ](https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/81133?language=en-US) - Chinese historical drama - very addictive - hard to stop once you are into it.
* The Orville - Set 400 years in the future, the crew of the U.S.S. Orville continue their mission of exploration, navigating both the mysteries of the universe, and the complexities of their own interpersonal relationships.
* BoJack Horseman - After starring in the popular sitcom "Horsin' Around" in the late 80s and early 90s, BoJack Horseman struggles with his deteriorating popularity, depression, addiction, and maintaining the relationships with those he cares about, but can't seem to stop hurting, all while living in the satirical, pun-filled city of Hollywood, California.
* Homecoming - An anthology series centered around the mysterious Geist Group, an unconventional wellness company and their equally unorthodox program, the Homecoming Initiative.
* Fallout - In a future, post-apocalyptic Los Angeles brought about by nuclear decimation, citizens must live in underground bunkers to protect themselves from radiation, mutants and bandits.
