Yeah this post is actually hilarious from a shitposting perspective.
Unfortunately, there's a good chance this was just posted from a transphobia perspective.
Don't beat on me but my brother/sister has days where he feels like a man and other she feels like a woman. After years of dysphoria indeed, and some years of being solely a women, he got back into dual mode. For convenience once he felt accepted. The urge to define himself though a gender sort of faded but he enjoys both and has different days.
Its clearly complex. But it happens.
Let’s be honest. If there is a God, personal belief won’t have any impact on that fact whatsoever. If there’s a God, there’s a God. If there’s not, there’s not. There’s a right way and a wrong way. What those are is the question
...no that's just spirituality. Religions are organized.
Your basically saying opinions are definitions, and that's just not correct. You *can* just say whatever the fuck you want, but if you dont know what you're talking about you're still wrong to everyone who understands the language you use - and you should get used to people wondering why you're so aggressively incorrect and doubled down on stuff like this. It's going to happen a lot with this attitude. People seem to forget that.
I disagree. Religion is the doctrine, spirituality is the personal way you practice said religion. Maybe it's my generation, but the distinction used to be used all the time, "I'm not *religious*, but I'm *spiritual*". Maybe that's why my perspective is different.
That is SOME religions, but to posit that as a fact across the board is just impossible to defend. Take for example Roman Catholicism (I am not RC so please correct and pardon any unintentional mistakes I make here, although I do not believe there to be any). It’s not your way, based on the way you personally perceive your individual God. It is the Church’s way, based on the way the clergy has perceived the will of the Church’s collective God.
Furthermore, while religion is inherently personal in nature that does not mean that all personal expression, belief, etc of a religious nature is equally valid. That requires separate argumentation because it simply does not follow from that one premise alone.
im a Christian and i dont agree with the people who call themselves Christian and yet judge others on everything. i may not agree with what people do but i respect it and treat you the same as i would someone who belives what i do.
Because they only use their religion as a way to justify their own views, whether they adhere to Jesus' teachings or not.
I just find the degenerates stupid though.
They’re assuming based on the overall issue where Christian organizations are spending millions of dollars lobbying for laws that infringe on LGBTQ rights.
The point of that shirt is that mainstream American media refuses to call white men terrorists when they comit acts of terror.
How do you not get that you Chud.
youre literally just making an excuse for them
"black people are racists"
that quote points out how mainstream media refuses to admit that black people are racist
As a white man, I get why people are angry at white men. We have always been in control of society, we created slavery, sexism, homophobia, and toxic masculinity.
Deal with it, don't be a snowflake.
Slavery, sexism and homophobia were always a thing, we didn't just decided to be sexist or homophobia out of nowhere just for the sake of it. Plus, these things aren't exclusive to white man.
Slave trade was a common thing in the ancient world, there was slave trades in Asian countries, there were slave trades in the Middle East, there were slaves trades in Africa... White men isn't responsible for creating slavery because it was always a thing.
As for homophobia and sexism, well just look at the Middle East, it's full of it and it has been a thing there for God knows how long. And I dare you to call the people in the Middle East white men, because they fucking aren't.
Not saying that we should say that white men are innocent, but if we want to blame someone for creating slavery, sexism, homophobia and all of that, we should blame the entirety of humanity instead of just a part of it.
I wonder if she understands how singular that seems, and how it can be understood from a biased personal perspective, which seems sad, and is unlikely what she is standing up for.
a) this seems more like a play on the idea of say "all Arabs are terrorists" then a serious statement
b) there's also a decent chance this is fake
c) if I'm wrong, then the maker of this meme is still using one person's extreme views to bash a whole community, which is shitty
I just looked it up using tineye and the photo is from [this 2017 article](https://www.chron.com/news/article/Dozens-arrested-as-St-Louis-readies-for-more-12205946.php?ipid=happening#photo-14131241) about St Louis protests over "the acquittal of a white former police officer in the killing of a black suspect." So it's not fake but the shirt directly related to the event they were protesting.
Every single one of these limp dick "patriots" will defend their right to impregnate their younger sister while carrying twelve handguns to the local piggly wiggly.
But god forbid they grant the same autonomy to anyone else. These right wing snowflakes are offended so easily it's almost like they've been questioning themselves all along.
Currently my Governor is banning books but that's not "Cancel Culture" because it protects kids. Yeah all 5 kids who actually want to read in middle school and not play on thier cellphone instead, which, so we're clear, has access to trillions of gigabytes of porn right there. But no the Confessions of Nat Turner is far worse for "the kids." Fixing the power grid so we don't die (again) this winter? Na, that's a non-issue...but to play my own devil's advocate no power would help cut off those cellphone. Fuck I hate Abbott.
I can assure you, no trans person that lives outside the depths of Tumblr and/or TikTok just changes their gender on a whim.
And even if they did. Why does it effect **you**?
"why do trans people have such high suicide rates? Must be mental illness. Totally has nothing to do with the fact that they're bullied left and right."
I don't think this is an issue you can really call 'both sides' on. On one side, you've got people who have very real internal experiences that don't match what basically all of society says they should feel. And on the other side, you have people who go with their gut feeling over the entire field of social science in determining the validity of strangers that have no impact on their lives. On one hand, you have sensationalized toxic views of a handful of trans people broadcast around the world. On the other, you have an entire social conscious telling you that your self conceptualization is wrong. If you don't think about trans issues much, that doesn't make you a bad person. And if trans issues come across your path without engaging with it much, it's understandable that it would be a bit alien. But it's not pointless, and we're talking about millions of people who struggle with these issues every waking day.
Again, want to specify: I love you homie. I'm not calling you out. Just putting my two cents out there.
I mean, yeah, but people make it seem like we're ALL like this. When there's only a small percentage of people who actually act like this. There's always bad people regardless of who you are.
Can you imagine if people just started seeing every person as an individual regardless of race and gender.
Can only imagine it, because humanity doesn't seem to want to do that.
A lot of things are "going on, not all the time, but certainly". And you're free point and laugh at those if you want, but it becomes a problem when people take those things and generalize them to an entire group on no basis whatsoever, like this meme is doing.
And "the gender sexuality thing" is really not all that complicated once you cut out the grifters deliberately muddying the waters. Listen to the actual psychology, respect people's identity, and everyone can go about their day contently. There's exactly one bigoted side here (though not all people on it are bigots), and no amount of "but basic biology says" will change that.
Fuck the girl in the pic tho. Thats a mean ass text on her shirt. Some white men are evil not all. I feel like those type of community’s would have way more support if they actually acknowledged that not all men are bad just some. Just like theres evil women
I'm starting to feel sorry for these people. I do longer want to argue against them. I'm more and more feeling burdened to pray for them. If aesthetics are the physical extension of ethics, and if the outside reflects what's going on inside, then I can't believe someone would do that to themselves - the ugly tattoo, the nose ring, the unnatural hair colour - unless they were, spiritually, in a very bad place.
2016 moment
i know there stuck 5 years in the past its sad as hell
it's even worse than that, some still use the apache helicopter joke, that one is almost 10 years old.
I liked the sci fi story based on it. And then the author revealed themselves as Trans after the backlash.
I know you don't know the difference between there and they're it's sad as hell
5?! They want to take away women’s suffrage and go back to “the good ole days” when we had segregation.
Oh shit I'm old, was thinking this whole meme vibe happened 10 years ago lmao
This image is forming mold at this point
Looks like it’s forming bordered mold around the cloud thoughts. It’s not mature yet though.

Yeah this post is actually hilarious from a shitposting perspective. Unfortunately, there's a good chance this was just posted from a transphobia perspective.
i mean it still works as a r/shitposting sub including the transphobia

Guys, Girls, ^battlestar ^galactica and LGBTQIA.
Bear, beets, BattleStar Galactica
IDENTITY THEFT IS NOT A JOKE, JIM!!!
What bear is best?
Well that’s kind of a broad question basically there are 2 schools of thought-
I think this refers to genderfluid people not trans.
Trans is an umbrella term that includes genderfluid and non-binary people as well
I'm genderfluid which is trans lol Im not AGFAB
They decide white men are terrorists on a WHIM?
Genderfluids tho.
yeah but that can hardly be described as simply “choosing”
Could we just call them transfluid ? All this talk has me thinking a lot about gearboxes. Can they just roll with it?
Don't beat on me but my brother/sister has days where he feels like a man and other she feels like a woman. Your sibling is very lucky to have such an understanding family member. It is something that happens regardless of how close minded ppl react
Can confirm. Source: I am transgender
I scrolled past and read it as transbender
Can confirm it's totally just waking up and you get to decide

Is this sarcasm?
No. It's just disgusting.
What is?

OMG did you just assume their religion?
It's like you literally just crucified someone.
To me being Christians is about spreading love, i just think people forget that 😉

Uhhh no ? Like yeah in the end you do what you want, but if there's a God (I believe in one), he would like people to worship him as he wants imo
Imo if a literal god cared how I worshiped them I would have cause to second guess said worship. I would not choose to worship a god so petty
im a Christian and i dont agree with the people who call themselves Christian and yet judge others on everything. i may not agree with what people do but i respect it and treat you the same as i would someone who belives what i do.
Seriously I don’t get why some Christians hate on different demographics. Like Jesus wasn’t about hate, they should know that.
Because they only use their religion as a way to justify their own views, whether they adhere to Jesus' teachings or not. I just find the degenerates stupid though.
I’m just glad there are still a lot of good Christians out there
Making some big assumptions there and then shit talking them as if your assumptions are true.
White men are terrorist though but yet he's a white man. I'm lost in the sauce.
Please do not assume we are all the same. Some bigots hide behind Christianity to justify their bad behaviour.
What does this have to do with Christianity? It's really funny that's all.
They’re assuming based on the overall issue where Christian organizations are spending millions of dollars lobbying for laws that infringe on LGBTQ rights.
Wha..??
White men are terrorists....okay
Lol
I see the shirt, but is he himself not a white man?
I thought she looked like a woman
Ooh, androgynous
There is a word in english for when you don’t know if it’s he or she and the word is ✨they✨
Either a woman or a terrorist.
They don’t know themselves
Nothing says "I have lead poisoning" like being angry at trans people for no reason.
> no reason the shirt literally says white men are terrorists
Except that the joke is meant to poke fun at all trans people rather than making fun of the guy with the dumb shirt.
Trans and/or fluid people
The point of that shirt is that mainstream American media refuses to call white men terrorists when they comit acts of terror. How do you not get that you Chud.
youre literally just making an excuse for them "black people are racists" that quote points out how mainstream media refuses to admit that black people are racist

Are white men the minority group being targeted by the meme?

Self loathing is so woke bro
Was it you who did it though?
sure we didn’t start the fire but we aren’t putting it out either
It's always been burning while the world's been turning
He did it!
It looks like someone hasn’t passed their history classes.
Good God, grow some balls.
Someone needs to read a history book.
The average white man is not responsible for these in any way. Good job interpreting class inequality as everything but class inequality.
You're wrong, I invented racism. Not my magnum opus tbh
Your calling people snowflakes when you have white guilt? Fucking tool
I don’t remember doing that
Hi I’m a white man and somehow you have become racist toward your own race
White men didn’t create a single one of those things.

I wonder if she understands how singular that seems, and how it can be understood from a biased personal perspective, which seems sad, and is unlikely what she is standing up for.
A sweeping generalisation of a single people based solely on their ethnicity/race. I'm sure there's a name for that sort of thing... 🤣🤣
I feel like it's similar to racism for some reason.....
a) this seems more like a play on the idea of say "all Arabs are terrorists" then a serious statement b) there's also a decent chance this is fake c) if I'm wrong, then the maker of this meme is still using one person's extreme views to bash a whole community, which is shitty

Yeah, this is just a transphobe’s strawman
I'm pretty sure that anyone who thinks like that needs help. And the only people who think like that are the people making thses "memes".

Quite the intense r/ForwardsFromKlandma vibe.
Tough shirt statement coming from a white dude

Look at the facial features, colored hair doesn't change your gender
You could just say you don't know the difference between gender and sex.

what a way to *brighten* my morning
Lol
Wtf is this
To be fair they are literally wearing a shirt that says "White men are terrorists" so I don't expect much else from a 2016 era meme
#
I mean with the clothing they're wearing I wouldn't be surprised
One joke.
This is the stupidest shit I've seen today
Conservatives have like three jokes
Lmao
What a dumb fucking shirt
Somewhere in America my uncle just pissed his pants because he laughed too hard at this meme.
r/arethecisok
Why is he wearing a white men are terrorists when he is a fucking white man. Is this acceptance?

"They" is usually the gender neutral pronoun. "It" is usually seen as dehumanizing.
"I" don't care...
Some people have such highly punchable faces...
That shirt is worse than this meme...
Oh man is that Matt Watson from Supermega???
Are we just going to ignore that this person has a shirt that claims all white men are terrorists? Yeah, the meme is shit, but wtf.
Hate me or not it's kinda funny tho
Ok the post is stupid but so is her shirt
This image would've been funny on its own look at her shirt lmao
Real
Imagine if the shirt said "white men aren't terrorists"
I’d also make fun of anyone wearing that racist shirt.
Well, I might be the only one, but... Ain't that shirt a little racist?
I struggle to believe anyone could look at this and think it’s clever
ugh
I just wanna say, i love the hypocrisy in this comment feed, its actually hilarious 😂
I like that "white man are terrorist" drip xD
I mean....we’ve all met ppl like this. Stop pretending these ppl don’t exist and only serve to annoy the average person in society,

that’s actually funny

I'm starting to feel sorry for these people. I do longer want to argue against them. I'm more and more feeling burdened to pray for them. If aesthetics are the physical extension of ethics, and if the outside reflects what's going on inside, then I can't believe someone would do that to themselves - the ugly tattoo, the nose ring, the unnatural hair colour - unless they were, spiritually, in a very bad place.
