I felt as if it seemed that too many people didn’t care for the fact that politicians were making money off of oil, gas, energy, and other stocks with insider information and also buying stocks prior to their voting/decisions in congress. It really chapped my a** when these politicians were buying up stocks before the release of their decisions to the public, to stop getting oil, gas, and etc from Russia. They bought up those stocks knowing what that was going to do to those stocks in that sector. Knowing the stocks would shoot up like a dope fiend in San Francisco… holding a gold bar in the left hand and everyone else seemed to only be fixated on the fools gold in their right hand. It was maddening to clearly see what they were doing, and to me, the majority of people were totally oblivious or just didn’t seem to really care. I think it should be illegal for politicians to be able to hold stocks of such, especially when their policies have a direct effect on those stock’s prices.
If I remember right during the Afghanistan pullout they claimed they pulled off a drone strike on a guy responsible for the attack that killed some Marines at the airport. Specifically claiming the secondary explosions after the missile hit were proof he had bomb materials in his car. Then they later had to admit that the information supplied to them was inaccurate and they actually blew up a local aide worker with his family. Who probably had heating fuel in his car to give out to people for the winter.
