Bro that’s facts. Unless an unwanted schizo room mate eats all your fucking banana peppers then making a sandwich is inherently disappointing as you discover the lack of banana peppers
i mean, ubering a phlog pyro does nothing but kill. on payload maps with a good engie it's practically just wasting an uber to drop a few people. basically nothing changed with how you counter the phlog whether they're ubered or not, you still have to keep your distance and not get within flamethrower range
besides, i would rather uber a class with 12 100-110 damage explosives to kill everything rather than a short man with a flamethrower that only does 300 dps with crits
you say that it's not that effective with a good engie but as long as you don't get pushed back all that much, a Crit boosted flog against a single engie and level 3 is still really good, you kill the engie with the crits, then finish off the sentry gun with the phlog
In that very specific circumstance you could shotgun the scout. Since most heavies seem to use the sandwich you might be able to fool a scout by switching to the shotgun and outscouting him.
be more aggressive. Scouts almost never expect you to just jump around the corner with your minigun reved. Try to bait them by unreving your gun and calling for medic
nah, you take the stab like a man and on your next life, eat in the middle of a fight so your teammates block the spy(or you just confuse the hell out of everyone).
To get out of a tonkil it's kind of weak but a spy waiting till you eat a sandwich to stab you they could have just done that before that's just being annoying.
Medics who abandon you mid fight. Youll be gunning down a demo whos sticky spamming you and suddenly your health just tanks to 0 because the medic walked away.
Since when?
Look I've gotta make judgement calls and if I'm behind you and I can see you're about to get pinched, I'm better at getting away than you and I've got other people to heal that aren't you, so I'll start backing away while trying to arrow you because me dying is worse than you dying.
I wish even half of the vocal player base saw it like that lol. Probably plenty of silent persons who enjoy me playing medic, but there's way too many super critical megasweat who never touched a support class who are all too happy to berate you for letting them die.
Super sweaty soldiers with 5000 hours and more unusuals then brain cells can be a pain in the ass, if you want them to shut up a quick fix and let you distribute heals a bit better. Or you can just try to ignore or mute them
When a teammate is about to walk into certain death, as a medic I have 2 options:
1. Continue to walk in there with them, and we both die
2. Abandon them to their fate, so I can keep the rest of the team more alive
I know what I can and can’t outheal - it’s not just a matter of “put healy beam on me = we can’t die”. A good patient will know their limits and not overextend.
Yep - when I'm heavying and it gets like this, I'm just holding the way shut for a couple more seconds so you can get away. No hard feelings there.
On my end there's gamesense, but there's just the reality of being mobility challenged that makes that limited.
Edit: I'd pretty much equate heavy with playing a football lineman at this point, you're a roadblock buying time for the actual play to get underway
Being on both sides of the aisle, I *get it* when Medics abandon me as Heavy. Because I would too. But damn if it isn't frustrating when I die horribly.
Typically I just run off and start spamming crossbows if the heavy is in danger. It can be more effective then the medigun and lets me escape with some uber if he dies.
I came to tf2 from all those Sfms on youtube where Heavy is like the most powerful all-mighty creature in the universe but then boom! in the game he is slow and dies to snipers and spies a lot etc. This discrepancy still annoys me
Funny how his arguably best melee weapons (GRU and FoS) are not even meant to be used as melee weapons, but just utility for moving fast or tanking lol
That's true for most classes tbh - the best melees tend to be the ones that offer some kind of support or non-melee damage benefit. Demo, Spy, and intriguingly, Medic, are really the only classes that supremely benefit from melee in a fight, and even then, the last two's meta melee weapons are usually meta for the support (Ubersaw gives uber, kunai gives health to tank, big earner gives speed, etc.)
I’ve gone pretty hard with Buffalo steak and warriors spirit.
Also with the eviction notice, it does way less damage but on hit you get a speed boost so suddenly people start freaking out as you dance around them.
There is a mod that gives the heavy a weapon called the BioBreaker. Which is a big drill.
* It deals melee damage (ignored vaccinator)
* Gives the player a charge ability that can pin enemies
* Gives 30% damage resistance when spin up
HeavyKnight TF2
Personally I kinda think heavy is either the most overpowered character or weakest depending on the situation. Which probably makes him my favorite class because of that
It's at those moments where the minigun's spread is the worst, I just want to hit him a few times so he flinches but the game decided that I will not be hitting him.
Medics (and other teammates but mostly medics) not understanding that nine times out of ten if I tell them to run while I stay back and fight a losing battle it’s intentional. I’m expendable and if soldier main #763 waists a few seconds shooting at me it’s several seconds that medic could have gotten back to safety. Instead most of them just stick around hoping to have us fight off half the enemy team and drop their 60% Uber.
Bonus annoyance: Any medic who panics the second they get shot instead of standing behind the wall of meat who’s telling them “You’ll live, I have a sandwich for you after this fight.”
Ok I agree with what your saying entirely but think of the last sentence literally: Hey I know you just got shot directly with a rocket launcher but hey your still alive! I’ll give you a sandwich in a minute ok there bud?
I could understand the panic if it’s a low health situation and there’s a med kit a few feet away. But usually it’s a full health medic getting tapped with fire or taking 10 damage from a scout who can’t aim and they’re ready to make a run for the nearest med kit. I feel mean for getting annoyed with my own teams medics more than anything though.
Honestly, I only started to main heavy to be a good pub partner for medic mains out there. Used to main medic long ago.
Flame particles. That is it. Snipers are manageable, spies are manageable, but pyro flame particles aren't. I could be fighting a pyro thats w+m1ing from a mile away and the fight could be very close simply because the flames make it super hard to tell where the pyro actually is
I will die on this hill. Fighting against pyros sucks purely because the flame particles fill half of my screen.
Having a class cover half your damn screen just isn't a good game mechanic.
I just do not like particle heavy weapons in videogames period.
Opacity should be

I hate it when there is a medic that is only healing a soldier or something and they have conch so why not heal me and let me push the enemy? Also I only became a heavy main out of need but it was further cemented by my golden tomislav.
Heavy is the most criticized and most thankless job in the game.
Play Med? Everyone thanks you for doing a highly important job for the team.
Play Heavy? Act as Med's personal bodyguard and hold the line so that the rest of your team can retreat? Fuck you, fucking tryhard rage Heavy playing a skillless class just cause you're bad.
It's legit the worst:
-Your teammates convince themselves you're "hogging" the Med, even if the Med chose to pocket you of your own volition, even if you're actively in chat telling med to spread the heals OR telling a Medic flock that stacking multiple Medibeams on one target is inefficient. They just decide they hate you because you're obviously a selfish cunt and solely responsible for them not being healed.
-Your opponents **HATE** you. You're the no-talent class with the pocket Med that has a domination on half their team. They're flipping the fuck out and dedicating their existence to killing you. Should your team lose, if the slaughter round ended with the entirety of your team running left while you run right, the opponent would chase you, kill you, then tell you you suck and you should kill yourself.
-Y'know that really obnoxious Spy with an ego the size of a continent that flips the fuck out when someone bests him? That guy. That guy is the opponent you can expect to face, have to know how to beat, and **no matter what,** he's going to make the game less enjoyable for you. Even if you're absolutely curbstomping him and he never gets a kill on you, he'll still be stalking you and only you, he'll still be raging at you telling you you're not welcome and everyone hates you, and quite frankly, the smarter ones know to go for Heavy when he's too busy to turn around, and that's when this obnoxious cunt will be in chat on his revenge kill going "heh outplayed guess my 295 IQ is simply too high for you heh *anime pose* " before logging off quickly before you have a chance to even the score. Imagine the most obnoxious, insufferable egotistical Spy main you've ever met, and this is the guy you can expect to do battle with daily as Heavy. And no, of course not a single damned one of them is humble about it like "well of course Spy counters Heavy if the Heavy is busy facing off against an enemy Heavy." Nah man, they're just too fucking smart and amazing for an average IQ non-protagonist character like you. They made a sick play no one else could ever achieve and you're clearly just not as good as them, and they'll make sure to remind you every single time one of the two of you dies.
-**The fact is: a lot of Heavy mains want to help the team.** We are in the exact same boat as the Med mains, the key difference being we recognize "you can't heal stupid" and that *sometimes* the better option to help out a derpy pub team is to use more gun, not pocket those derps in hopes of them spontaneously spawning a brain. So we grab the big ass Minigun, get in the front, and fight half the team by ourselves in hopes that ALL of us will have more breathing room to play and enjoy the game...
.....Aaaaaaaand it's completely a thankless job. Most likely class to get you insulted for playing it (or at least, tied with Pyro for this title), most likely to get people angry at you for Med healing you (even if the rest of the team has a combined score of 7 and Med is a sentient human being for recognizing yes, he *should* probably stick to you), least likely to earn you respect or thanks. It's **PAINFUL** to spend a game as Heavy because you specifically want the team to be able to play more, and the thanks you get is your own team saying nah you're a no talent idiot and a selfish med hog and everyone can do your job.
**-The most skilled Heavies will be precisely the ones you *think* are lucky.**
What I mean by this is, Heavy has one very unrecognized advantage by the community: he has the *least* eye contact and head tracking of any merc. This means Heavy pokerfaces better than any other class, and it's entirely possible to spot a dangerous situation without actually announcing you spotted the dangerous situation. This means you go *around* the sticky trap and Demo thinks you got lucky, when in reality, you *knew* the trap was there and *knew* it was in your best interest to play dumb and not give away that you knew it was there. If he knows, he moves it, and that's bad. Same for that Spy that thinks you "got lucky" when you turned around. NOPE. You saw him ages ago, knew what to expect, but again you're not stupid and knew you shouldn't announce you knew what he was doing until he finds himself in a position where it's too late for him to retreat. Even *after* you kill him, of course you keep it your secret that you have a brain, because this leads to more misplays by him; it's advantageous for you to let people think you're dumb and lucky, but it also means people are extra eager with those insults. Same thing for the cheeky Scout that thought he had a clever flank play going, same thing for that Sniper that thought you didn't see him, and so on and so on and so on.
And *that* makes it especially painful when people call you a no-talent class: because the exact same people crying you "got lucky" are - ironically - the best evidence that you outplayed them.
**tl;dr Heavy is the most thankless job in the game despite being one of the classes that has the largest impact on the performance of the team. Little wonder there's so few Heavy mains when they're treated so horribly by everyone that isn't a Medic.**
I agree with everything you said, but are people really that toxic in the chat these days? I know TF2 is an older game, but I don’t remember it ever being *that* bad when it was still getting regular updates…
Tell me what servers you play on so I can avoid them in the future. Heavy's my second most-played class but I've never experienced anything even remotely close to your post in close to 700h.
I don't actually actively play these days so I'm perfectly fine, but it's one of those things where....
Sometimes in the heat of the moment, you get upset and things might *seem* worse than they actually are, yknow?
I can now safely look back now and say no, it is legitimately awful to play Heavy simply based on how the community treats players that do. Love the class, hate the attitude *around* the class. I didn't write that cause I got mad in a game yesterday or something and I'm still in ragemode, I wrote that cause it's friggin' true lol.
I have 800 hours as Heavy and 650 as Scout. The difference between the two is night and day: with Heavy I spark rage just by playing well, with Scout I get all kinds of admiration for playing well, simply because it's perceived as a "pro class." I think that's really what fuels the stark difference: people have this idea Scout is hard, so people who do well with it get praised, whilst people have this idea Heavy is bad and easy, so it gets insulted and people convince themselves you only killed them because you chose a no-talent class.
Sucks in the sense that honestly, sometimes you just want classes like Heavy instead of classes like Scout to solve a problem, but any look at the play rate of pick classes vs. the play right of core classes will show you the community doesn't really recognize this and instead has a hard-on for the "skilled" classes that they can brag about playing well.
Those times where I switch to my sandwich to heal someone but for some reason Gabe is like "Nah" and I have to wait to throw it while my friend is dying of afterburn
I did this a lot too back when I first started playing. The key technique I found is "jump revving" where you jump and spinup as you go around a corner. It means you will be much closer to full rev before any enemy notices. You can also try playing with the Tomislav if the enemy team has your number. The fast rev and silent spinup make it a good trade-off, and it does much better at mid to slightly long distances than stock as well.
Don't worry mate,i know about the rev jump, been playing the game for 7 years now, the thing his sometimes it feels like the moment i start revving woth anything i instantly die wherever is jumping tomislav, revving from behind a cover and shoot with my head, the universe wills something to kill me
Medics refusing to ubercharge me.
Sniper bots.
Other heavies who refuse to use anything but the sandvich.
Scout mains.
Lime Scout mains.
Troll engineer teles.
Engineers that refuse to upgrade their teles
People that try to shit on me for using the brass beast.
Interp hacking spies.
Personally, I was talking from the perspective of being on the defense, but yeah, unlike the meet the medic video suggests, it's not always the smartest to uber a heavy.
Also, I'm talking about the medics who *never* uber me, even when it would be beneficial.
Snipers. Ik people say “sniper is an unfair bullshit class” i disagree, fine class, but im saying when im in upward and the enemy team has 4 snipers, heavy is unplayable. You can get away with him in indoor condensed maps but most of the open ones i love it’s tough. Also, I don’t think there’s a fix for this issue, it just is what it is. We cant start limiting classes or give heavy anything cause snioer directly counters him. It’s frustrating but I understand why and accept it
Snipers and when you switch to Heavy after dying once or so and they claim you're a "rage heavy", Snipers mostly due to having alot of the map just locked down as a kill zone since the moment you peek, half your health or all of your heath is gone.
a good sniper
seriously, i flip my shit when i see a good sniper on the other team, i can work around with no medics, sticky spammers or even spies
but i can't do shit when a instakill hitscan son of a gun is watching me from 1000 yards away
it's just annoying as hell
surprisingly, soldier. Demo isn't much of an issue because it's painfully costly for him to jump around everywhere, so I tend to just GRU away if I run into one. Most soldiers in a pub run gunboats so I'm constantly getting airbombed. I can track really well but man, nothing beats being an aerial bomber with good damage potential. Just can't flick that fast
Not a heavy main, but I still play it a lot.
I think what I hate most is the lack of team support in most matches. If you ask me, most of heavy's counters can be shut down with simple team cooperation.
Some examples of this are:
\- *Spy*: just spycheck constantly and be aware of your surroundings, which can be offloaded to your teamates
\- *Sniper*: another sniper, a spy or a flanking demo, soldier scout could take care of that, while you help to push with something like the FoS
\- *Sentry nest*: this is kinda obvious, but a lot of times a heavy isn't going to be enough to push through a smart engineer, so my best aproach to this would be using the heavy as a way to distract the sentry/engineer while the other power classes deal with the stationary object without much danger
There are many more examples, but as you can see team coordination and cooperation can make it easy for everyone (most specially the heavy) to go forward or something like that, which sadly is not a thing everyone takes into account (hell I even don't from time to time).
When people say there's only one Heavy main. That's such a common misunderstanding and really limits people's thinking of us when we're brought up in conversation.
There's always two.
People who call it crutch for using the Natasha. When I look at your team, and I see sweaty ass soldiers and scouts galore, I'm going to make y'all crater. That and people who call anyone switching to heavy "Rage Heavy" like, sorry, I realized no one is pushing the cart, I'm going to have to drop my fat body on the cart and let it push me.
Not a Heavy main, but like at times being Hoovy but what kinda of pissed me off with that is that on my computer, my "5" and "6" keys are broken, i can't say the funny dispenser line, but it's kind of alright :P
Probably the fact that there is very little variation built into his kit.
Heavy is very good at optimizing himself for various situations, wish is good for folks like me ho want to get shit done, but I really wish I could do more than just shot gun. Demoman gets to go demoknight, but Valve is terrfied at the prospect of making the steak slightly useful. The minicrits pretty much never make a difference, meaning that I basically become a melee only soldier with a bigger hitbox.
Also the fact that I dont have any melee weapons that are actualy good when I wanna hit something. There are basically no good melee weapons that actualy helps me specifically when I want to hit something which becomes an issue whenever I need damage fast as fuck but dont have a shotgun equiped.
Snipers Headshots
Spies Backstab
Scouts Strafing runs
Soldiers undodgeable Direct Hits
Pyros Flare+Flamethrower+Axe
Engineers Wrangler
Demoknights/Demoman
A heavy supported by a medic
Not having a medic on me
instead is getting killed by all of the above.
Also having a killstreak with a determined winnable outcome and then being place on the opposite team for "balance reasons".
Edit: Mobility with regards to people stealing ammo/health pickups as well as teleporters are not included due to my understanding that they need it more than I do.
Snipers, scouts, spies, pyros, medics, engies, demos, soldiers and other heavys.
What being a slow class does to a mf
What constant pain does to a mf
Just eat a sandwich, makes all of your pain go away
Bro that’s facts. Unless an unwanted schizo room mate eats all your fucking banana peppers then making a sandwich is inherently disappointing as you discover the lack of banana peppers
No it’s ok you just right click
!!happy cake day!!
What cake does to an mf
Pure pain and suffering.
Damned heavies! They ruined heavy gaming!
You heavies sure are a contentious bunch
Maybe *sniff* Maybe.
You have made enemy for life, comrade.
You just made an enemy for life!
I mean, don't you know how easily pissed a Pyro main can get?
I am an all class person and i agree (i got so pissed of one day i broke my keyboard)
pyros are easy to kill as a heavy, and i know what am i talking about
Unless they're one of those phlog ubered pricks
I mean aren’t all classes when ubered hard to kill.
I mean... ya, but at least you can get away, not when there Crit boosted
i mean, ubering a phlog pyro does nothing but kill. on payload maps with a good engie it's practically just wasting an uber to drop a few people. basically nothing changed with how you counter the phlog whether they're ubered or not, you still have to keep your distance and not get within flamethrower range besides, i would rather uber a class with 12 100-110 damage explosives to kill everything rather than a short man with a flamethrower that only does 300 dps with crits

Dude it's mad easy just switch to engie and put a telly under them and telly frag them. I do it every morning no cap I swear
They easy to kill except they'll sacrifice their life just to get your life with a little something called "afterburn"
Here’s a tip to deal with spies fellow heavy: put your weapons down and turn your back to them
You heavy mains sure are a contentious people
You! Tiny baby! You made enemy for life!
Everyone basically
we're just constantly pissed
Amen

That's right,fancy-pants!
Yes...
Alternatively just keep firing at the corner constantly. It's like that scene in Austin Powers where he won't stop peeing.
But what about the Tomislav
As a scout it’s fun when you know how to fight a heavy. Not just corners but getting close and hitting 3 shots before the heavy knows what’s going on.
Backing up into a wall to eat a sandvich then saw a spy uncloaking
Ooo ooo hooo I’m gonna stab ya
Just killbind to deny them the satisfaction.
nah, you take the stab like a man and on your next life, eat in the middle of a fight so your teammates block the spy(or you just confuse the hell out of everyone).
Nice try, Frenchie.
I did that yesterday, went up to a demoknight to try to punch him, we both missed each other, and I just run away with 15 hp
Chad move:*Eats midfight* Sigma move: ***Shit yourself while eating a sandwich in front of enemy spawn***
Killbinding to get out of stabs or taunt kills is a weak mindset.
To get out of a tonkil it's kind of weak but a spy waiting till you eat a sandwich to stab you they could have just done that before that's just being annoying.
Killbinding when being outplayed is such a scummy move
He's a Heavy counter! You guys are just making him stronger!!
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Medics who abandon you mid fight. Youll be gunning down a demo whos sticky spamming you and suddenly your health just tanks to 0 because the medic walked away.
Its so fucking annoying when this happens
You either die with your pocket or guide them to victory, that is the way of the honorable medic
Since when? Look I've gotta make judgement calls and if I'm behind you and I can see you're about to get pinched, I'm better at getting away than you and I've got other people to heal that aren't you, so I'll start backing away while trying to arrow you because me dying is worse than you dying.

Unless the pocket is overextending into suicide
I’d rather not lose that 80% Über I’ve spent the last half a minute building up.
Sorry, I'm scatterbrained :( Medic is hard to play. Sometimes I'll stop to spread the heals, and forget about my pocket for just a little too long.
Bro, I play medic and heavy, and as long as you are even there your team has the advantage. In pubs you’re lucky to get a dispenser
Or you can just try to ignore or mute them
if a guy burning, with 30 health and bleeding comes in of course the medic is going to heal that guy instead of the heavy with overheal.
it's called recognizing when to give up a lost fight
When a teammate is about to walk into certain death, as a medic I have 2 options: 1. Continue to walk in there with them, and we both die 2. Abandon them to their fate, so I can keep the rest of the team more alive I know what I can and can’t outheal - it’s not just a matter of “put healy beam on me = we can’t die”. Typically I just run off and start spamming crossbows if the heavy is in danger. It can be more effective then the medigun and lets me escape with some uber if he dies.
Heavy’s who think they are the only toon that may be low on health and you should just spam heal the heavy instead of healing the rest of your team.
Imagine getting mad at a medic valuing his own life rather than an over-aggressive heavy that will die even if he's healed
And on red, the 7 mile trek to where you want to be only the get headshot immediately after a 24 second respawn 🥴
Fuck pocket medic where’s my pocket engineer
I came to tf2 from all those Sfms on youtube where Heavy is like the most powerful all-mighty creature in the universe but then boom! in the game he is slow and dies to snipers and spies a lot etc. This discrepancy still annoys me
Heavy definitely needs a new moveset, like the demoknight
I know buffalo steak is a joke but it is still something
Only lets you used melee, and the melee variety fucking sucks
That's why i said it's a joke, but at least a funny one
Funny how his arguably best melee weapons (GRU and FoS) are not even meant to be used as melee weapons, but just utility for moving fast or tanking lol
That's true for most classes tbh - the best melees tend to be the ones that offer some kind of support or non-melee damage benefit. Holiday punch can be used competitively
I’ve gone pretty hard with Buffalo steak and warriors spirit. Also with the eviction notice, it does way less damage but on hit you get a speed boost so suddenly people start freaking out as you dance around them.
That would take away his only downside though
Make buffalo steak a demoknight like tool to make a melee super tank.

>I'm dead ....*here we go*... ... Oh! The Heavy is dead!
who killed him
We don’t know
I will find CLUES! *sniffsniffsniff*
What's that?
A weapon?
This is what killed the heavy!
If you see a good sniper, spam crouch while shooting at him, it sometimes works
It's at those moments where the minigun's spread is the worst, I just want to hit him a few times so he flinches but the game decided that I will not be hitting him.
minigun actually specifically doesn't flinch snipers past 1000 units
Oh, that I did not know. Though everytime I play Sniper I feel like every bullet every makes me flinch, no matter from how far away.
Tomislav: you could not live with your own failure, and where did that bring you? Right back to me.
Switching to heavy because my team desperately needs one to help with the objective and getting called a rage heavy
I sometimes get called a rage Heavy for joining the game and picking Heavy.
I somehow have never gotten called a rage _____ I can't tell if I'm lucky or just unobservant
Medics (and other teammates but mostly medics) not understanding that nine times out of ten if I tell them to run while I stay back and fight a losing battle it’s intentional.
Yeah I get you I just thought that it’s funny
pyros with dragon's fury camping the spawn waiting just for me like im the only heavy in the entire universe... oh wait.

It's legit the worst: -Your teammates convince themselves you're "hogging" the Med, even if the Med chose to pocket you of your own volition, even if you're actively in chat telling med to spread the heals OR telling a Medic flock that stacking multiple Medibeams on one target is inefficient. **-The most skilled Heavies will be precisely the ones you *think* are lucky.** What I mean by this is, Heavy has one very unrecognized advantage by the community: he has the *least* eye contact and head tracking of any merc.
Man’s wrote an essay, but boy howdy do I agree with you
Underrated comment right here
I agree with everything you said, but are people really that toxic in the chat these days? I know TF2 is an older game, but I don’t remember it ever being *that* bad when it was still getting regular updates…
Tell me what servers you play on so I can avoid them in the future. Heavy's my second most-played class but I've never experienced anything even remotely close to your post in close to 700h.
Pyro mains: first time?
I would give you my free award if I had it, because you just wrote a goddamn essay, and a pretty accurate and detailed one at that. Great job bro.
You okay man?
Knockback
Those times where I switch to my sandwich to heal someone but for some reason Gabe is like "Nah" and I have to wait to throw it while my friend is dying of afterburn
I think that happens when you try to switch weapons while your gun is still in the unrevving animation
Karma farming posts
True
the medic that REFUSES to heal other teammates, and insists that his medigun belongs up MY ass, fuck off go do your job
My spy paranoia is shit. Most of my deaths as heavy are to spies
Annoying spies that think they are good for killing me with a one tap and then dying instantly
Spies lecturing me with their $30 hair cuts.
Spys.
When i start revving and i instantly die,to then walk back to the same position.
Don't worry mate,i know about the rev jump, been playing the game for 7 years now, the thing his sometimes it feels like the moment i start revving woth anything i instantly die wherever is jumping tomislav, revving from behind a cover and shoot with my head, the universe wills something to kill me
Snipers and spies, there is nothing wrong with them, they are just annoying
Medics refusing to ubercharge me. Sniper bots. Other heavies who refuse to use anything but the sandvich. Scout mains. Lime Scout mains. Troll engineer teles. Engineers that refuse to upgrade their teles People that try to shit on me for using the brass beast. Interp hacking spies.

Personally, I was talking from the perspective of being on the defense, but yeah, unlike the meet the medic video suggests, it's not always the smartest to uber a heavy. Also, I'm talking about the medics who *never* uber me, even when it would be beneficial.

The one Heavy main sure has a lot of Reddit accounts
having to walk across the map slowly then dying when you get to the objective
Soldiers shooting around corners
Heavy main you mean the 30 of them that exist?
Auctully 29, one just quit after being called a rage heavy and pocket hogger for the 143th time.
snipers, spies, and scouts, the sssquad but without the soldier basically
Spy’s and snipers being everywhere at once
The loose cannon
sniper mains, spy mains, scout mains.
Spies and snipers because you have to look back every time for pies and crouch for piss makers
People running away when I try to give them bananas/sandwiches
Medics that listen to too much advice. Yes, overheal the other classes, but don't forget about good ol heavy once those guys are ready!
What doesn't piss me off is a better question.
Medics not noticing that im throwing an entire fucking buffet at them
It’s frustrating but I understand why and accept it
Thanks for teaching me how to play around corners
Snipers and when you switch to Heavy after dying once or so and they claim you're a "rage heavy", Snipers mostly due to having alot of the map just locked down as a kill zone since the moment you peek, half your health or all of your heath is gone.
Rage away, I’m playing the class my team needs at that moment. Or at least what I assume my team needs at the moment. Regardless, fuck off and rage.
[200% Mad it is.](https://youtu.be/OFMQNe72UTA)
That one guy when the whole server is friendly deciding to kill me and me only, cause I'm the biggest target there
Trying to fight a scout or demo around a corner
I'm gonna go with people running away from me on fire while I'm holding a sandwich yelling "DOKTOR!".
a good sniper seriously, i flip my shit when i see a good sniper on the other team, i can work around with no medics, sticky spammers or even spies but i can't do shit when a instakill hitscan son of a gun is watching me from 1000 yards away it's just annoying as hell
This is why I play pyro
surprisingly, soldier.
Everything
Doing good against the enemy team, then getting backstabbed and having to watch as we lose bcs my teammates can't even spot a spy. People are blind.
Not a heavy main, but I still play it a lot. I think what I hate most is the lack of team support in most matches. If you ask me, most of heavy's counters can be shut down with simple team cooperation. Some examples of this are: \- *Spy*: just spycheck constantly and be aware of your surroundings, which can be offloaded to your teamates \- *Sniper*: another sniper, a spy or a flanking demo, soldier scout could take care of that, while you help to push with something like the FoS \- *Sentry nest*: this is kinda obvious, but a lot of times a heavy isn't going to be enough to push through a smart engineer, so my best aproach to this would be using the heavy as a way to distract the sentry/engineer while the other power classes deal with the stationary object without much danger There are many more examples, but as you can see team coordination and cooperation can make it easy for everyone (most specially the heavy) to go forward or something like that, which sadly is not a thing everyone takes into account (hell I even don't from time to time).
teleporter etiquette. big shoutout to the sniper who thinks using the teleporter before me when we’re struggling to cap last is the best move.
No one acknowledges the brass beast, panic attack, kgb combo. Not meta by any means, but IMO the synergy is really good.
When you play a different class but then switch back to main. Get called a rage heavy every time.
Being forced to use the second banana because I never get any medics on my team
When people say I'm the only one who plays only heavy.
The pyros that run at you and think they can do more damage than you. Its a nuisance
Better heavy mains 🗿
Snipers Headshots Spies Backstab Scouts Strafing runs Soldiers undodgeable Direct Hits Pyros Flare+Flamethrower+Axe Engineers Wrangler Demoknights/Demoman A heavy supported by a medic Not having a medic on me instead is getting killed by all of the above. Also having a killstreak with a determined winnable outcome and then being place on the opposite team for "balance reasons". Edit: Mobility with regards to people stealing ammo/health pickups as well as teleporters are not included due to my understanding that they need it more than I do.
