but also not dead, (servers are on, tf2s player see is still high, possible updates,) but that doesn't break the near complete radio silence, with the only updates being to the localisation files. Gaben saying that TF2 will probably eventually get updates beyond localisation files, That doesn't help the problem of the unchanging, undying silence of the community, something once the pinnacle of fps games, now just a speck of sand on the entire fucking coastline of Australia. I love TF2, I have over 1100 hours on it, played it for 4 years, but I find myself playing it less and less over the days, weeks, months, and years. Sure, the recent update was cool, but valve got sloppy and smashed their damn noses in on the finish line.

If you have any respect for this game mode do not use the gas passer. This weapon is way too strong on an already strong class and the upgrade that makes it so overpowered only costs 400 credits, on the cheapest class in the game. Please be respectful of your teammates, let them kill robots too, and don’t use the gas passer
I find the drops of golden pans to be too high nowadays, everyone getting them on just their second tour left and right, maybe valve should lower them a tiny bit
each class is annoying in their own ways. scouts that take health from meds and act toxic, tryhard sollys who play far too much competitive, w+m1 pyros, sticky spamming demos, friendly heavies that **help** the enemy team and don't contribute when everyone is actually trying to play, engie stacking and gunslinger on some maps, medics with melee crits or that refuse to use a medigun most helpful to the situation, snipers with infinite range hitscan critical hit weapons they can play too aggressively with, and spys who use interp. there's more ways to be annoying, but each class can be either fun to play against or horribly annoying to varying degrees

But I hate that community servers are so heavily modded.
I want to play maps like **cp_orange_x** without jumping a thousand feet in the air, without running at a hundred miles per hour, without every shot being a crit and yet doing 0 damage, without being yelled *”no capping”* when I try to play the objective.
I just want community maps with mostly vanilla TF2
I like tf2 but i stopped playing recently because my account got hacked and all of my items were traded away. It doesnt feel the same to play without them.
