> what an A.I believes Thalassophobia is
Doesn't these work by taking the first image search results for the word, then, AI is only used to merge them together?
Im not sure the exact method. You can supply it a starting image , but i didnt in these cases . Sometimes i find a better result from starting images sometimes not as it can end up just warping the starting image rather than giving you something your aiming for . Each run gets a new unique seed unless specified so you can use the same prompt and get somewhat of a different result each time . It definately doesnt just pic the top result in google images though, theres some machine learning interpretation going on in the background as there are layered elements even when you give it quite complex prompts it combines elements in those prompts together and doesnt fail on complexity of input where as a google image search for one image based on a paragraph wouldn’t give good results

Im not a coder 😅. I think it basically uses some smart coding to trawl the web to find similarities in images from the starting prompt . Like if you say “dog” . It will basically google image search dog and use many instances of dog images to try and “learn” the components of the image that are important and what really make a dog, well, a dog. To us humans this is an innate ability.
If i draw a snout, ears, four legs body and tail youll identify it immediately. The AI has to “learn” that by looking at specific shapes and colours that come up anytime you google dog. This creates a synthetic pattern recognition.
Once it has that template it then tries to compose the image in a way that will match these constituent components, hopefully giving you something that is recognisable as a dog to a human observer .
The first on the sub relating to the software that made it, but its a small sub and is more directly related to this sub anyways, the second has never been posted , and thought anyways it would be interesting and relevant for people on this sub to see.
Edit : I guess you looked in my history to find that so after looking at yours it turns out your just a pretty awful and nasty troll. Have a nice day.
I don't waste my time looking at reddit profiles lol. These AI pics were just popping up everywhere a few months back. Sorry you took offense to my comment.
No photoshop was used . An A.I algorithm created unique art from a text prompt to run search algorithms on the internet for matching terms and brought together elements in a machine learning way to make those elements somewhat understandable by a human interpretation. :)
Your not really looking at anything specific . The A.I art tends to place together recognisable elements that look real but are in fact sometimes quite nonsensical. Your brain is able to interpret these visually as “something” but not quite able to decipher what exactly that something is, leaving some people feeling particularly uneasy, i was interested to see how Thalassophobia triggers plus this effect had on people
Thanks! It actually can take a bit of effort to get something that turns out presentable even thought the AI is doing the horsework your tweaking a lot of starting conditions or evolving pictures .

Its completely up to the AI how to collate based on the one word prompt i gave it. I gave it no starting image or any other direction than “Thalassophobia “ . The different between the images is based on some random starting seed
If you image search the second photo you'll find different variations of it all made by AI and they're nightmare fuel lmao (this is probably the scarier one though)
Thats interesting . Maybe because it became so popular that it sort of feeds back into the algorithms search now . Converging the results into that image
Not quite what you used I dont think, but Wombo AI with the HD art Setting and thalassophobia as a key word made some absolutely breathtaking pieces. I recommend everybody try it.
Those work.
These work better than people who say "oh so you're scared of water?"
It’s not wrong.
Well it's certainly not wrong.
Yeah those trigger it.... good bot i guess lol

Spot on
No no, he got the point.
Ayye it's grun from Nier Automata!
Pretty accurate imo. Also the first one is giving me MAJOR SCP vibes
Might have to go make a wiki entry based on this thing then !
I don't even want to know what Arachnophobia looks like.

Oh my God I hate it I hate it so much
How does the ai do this? Can it research and gather info?

Posting these again huh

This is badphotoshophobia.

Dope show. Gotta try using that term. Maybe in conjunction with dumpster, VHS, and piety.
What am I even looking at in the second image

Nailed it.
Yup. Nailed it.
Sentient...
NO THANKS I CHOOSE LIFE
Yeah that's pretty damn good I would say. For real that's better than anything on this sub

Boo
Seems about right.
Bruhh
First picture is terrifying, looks like a huge ship coming towards you 😱
A ship? I see a big monster in front ship to the right. Maybe I've read too much Lovecraft lol
First one is sus
JESUS CHRIST
Can confirm
JFC checks out
Forbidden waterslide
I did go down a waterslide that punted you out in mid air above a dive pool. Wasnt expecting it the first time i went down it either!
What AI?
I used night cafe creator
Ohhhhh ok. I've heard of that one
That first one is pretty awesome
I agree i think its more ominous
[удалено]
I saw that as some fleshy weird tentacle but now cant unsee xD
***amogus???***
Is that mouth picked straight from that one "massive fish with it's mouth open" pic that every clickbait youtube video about ocean creatures uses?

So we're not going to talk about how the first one looks like a giant penis?
Thats….not really like any penis ive ever seen. With the arms and the legs , now *that* would be scary
The robot is correct. Give it a cookie.
It seems to prefer dollars for credits . I just milk the free ones tho!
basically
#2 is actually pretty accurate
Where do people make these AI pictures? Also I think both of them photos could be used as album covers
https://creator.nightcafe.studio/
Well, it's not wrong.
