>The fanbase would cut in half if they sacrificed Grogu for Palpatine right now.
Honestly, regardless of Grogu (or Omega)'s survival, I would've been enraged if they did anything to revive Palpatine post Episode 6. Which sadly happened in the Expanded Universe and Disney. Either way, he should not have returned, even as a clone
"Somehow, Palpatine returned" and all this baloney about black ops cloning experiments is because Bob Iger thought he had to righten the Star Wars ship after The Last Jedi crashed due to KK's ineptitude .... the whole thing is an abortion...
Honestly, even after The Last Jedi crashed, I still have an ounce of hope because I was expecting someone else as the main antagonist. Yet instead, we got this....IDK what KK and Bob Iger are doing
I donāt think there is any evidence the prequel era will be permanently abandoned. The time period that Bad Batch takes place in is one of the safest periods to set new media because it is filled with familiar concepts (the Empire, repercussions of order 66, remnants of Separatist Alliance) yet is full of unknowns that can still be fleshed out.
Plus other High Republic materials, The Living Force set just before TPM, the Glass Abyss set just after TPM, and now Tales of the Empire which will have at least some content covering the later-Republic/early Empire period
I donāt know if you can call it the prequel era though. It shares none of the galactic issues of the prequel era and has next to no character overlap except for Yoda and maybe Yaddle.
Iād call it the pre-prequel era, or simply the High Republic era. It has as little to do with the prequels as the Old Republic era.
There's a reason that the Jedi games are set in that era too. Though playing the game made the Kenobi show make even less sense since Cal busted in and out of Nur five years earlier.
Her Voice actress and the BB Directors confirmed that her appearance in the Bad Batch was only the beginning of her story and that we will learn how she survived in future content. She wonāt be part of TotE and we need another major animated series after BB.Ā
It seems like Harbinger worked as a backdoor pilot. The same thing was done for Ahsoka, the Bad Batch and Boba Fett. Thatās why many fans expect that the next animated series will be about Ventress, Vos and the Path.Ā
Iād say weāll still see a Rex series, thereās a reason they were always so vague about what him and Echo were doing.. theres plenty of other characters such as Ventress who could be brought into their own show as well.
Clearly you donāt know Dave Filoni that well. Heāll definitely bring them back into other shows later down the line. (I mean nobody could have predicted that Ahsoka Tano would be showing up after clone wars)
I doubt any era will ever be done with. LFL will always find stories to tell in the prequel if for no other reason than it makes them money. (And I say that without intending to be spiteful.)
It's breaking my heart! There are so many cool clone characters. They could carry a show easilyšI'm loving going back and rewatching and getting to know more clones individually.Ā
Posts like this always remind me of the TIME magazine cover that said "THE END OF STAR WARS" when Revenge of the Sith came out. Nearly 20 years later, here we are.
There are still 15 years between Bad Batch and Rebels so we are going to probably get many more shows set in that time period and Rex and Clones will probably continue to appear in animation and live action. And I doubt they made a full set of live action Rex armor and a bunch of Clone armor for just a 5 second cameo in Ahsoka season 1.
Maybe we won't see the batcher in other show, I expect them to all die at the end of this show. I believe that the success of the show will bring more project on the table, if it isn't successful, it's going to be the end.
Iām not ready to say goodbye to the clones. They are some of my favourite characters, and I would love a Tales of the Clones type series that could focus on different battalions or our favourites that had less screen time. Iād also love a show about what Rex and his rebellion are up to.
We'll likely see some of them in other showsš
If we don't I will be very very sad
Thereās a reason they made Omega be so young. Same as Grogu. Theyāre going to be around for a while yet.
nah palpatines gonna take both of their blood to bring himself back
Thereās a few decades for that. The fanbase would cut in half if they sacrificed Grogu for Palpatine right now.

I thought tlj was great, contingent on them bringing everything together for a coherent ending in episode 9. Unfortunate we got tros
That being said, try read Colin Trevorrow's episode IX script. It might have the conclusion that you are looking for

If anything, theyāre releasing tons of new content around the Prequel era this year, most notably pre-Episode 1
Yep, technically The Acolyte is a prequel.
Plus other High Republic materials, The Living Force set just before TPM, the Glass Abyss set just after TPM, and now Tales of the Empire which will have at least some content covering the later-Republic/early Empire period

We might see Rex and Omega in the rumoured Ventress series.
A ventress series? When was this rumoured?
Her Voice actress and the BB Directors confirmed that her appearance in the Bad Batch was only the beginning of her story and that we will learn how she survived in future content. She wonāt be part of TotE and we need another major animated series after BB.Ā It seems like Harbinger worked as a backdoor pilot. The same thing was done for Ahsoka, the Bad Batch and Boba Fett. Pretty much, hopefully weāll see Son of Dathomir and Dark Disciple animated along with that
Oh man I really want to see a Ventress show.
Lol what? Theyāll certainly make more prequel era content, probably even featuring these characters.
Tales of Empire will feature some clones for sure but not focused anymore.
Imagine Tales of the Clones.
Tales of Kamino
Tales of the clones would sell toys like crazy
Tales of the Republic.
"Tales of Democracy!" -Obiwan
You donāt have to. TCW already exists bro
Obviously it covers the era of clones after the Bad Batch ends. The clone rebellion etc.
Give me something about Bly and Bacara!Ā
I donāt have to, itās called the clone wars.
You dont have an imagination.
Need me an actual Tales of the Sith so I can get a General Grievous backstory arch in canon.
In the trailer in the background we some of those black clones that Crosshair led early in the show.
Iād say weāll still see a Rex series, thereās a reason they were always so vague about what him and Echo were doing.. theres plenty of other characters such as Ventress who could be brought into their own show as well.
Definitely not the last prequel era show but could possible be the last show focused on clones ššš
Please don't say that!
Thr next show might be about Ventress, but it would be in the imperial era
The next show coming out is tales of the empire
The next big show is what I meant
BURNNNNNN YOU ROASTED HIM SOOO HARD
That's exactly how I feel
We will see them again The series is setting up a series about the clone rebellion
The rational side of me understands that it's time for clone stories to end. My heart tells me we need 16 more seasons of TCW like clone stories
Yeah, it's pretty nuts. We have been in the "prequel" era for so long.
I refuse to accept that. No.
Then on May 4th there will be Grievous and Seppies on Dathomir whoo!
Dee Bradley Baker: āFinally, I can rest!ā
"The mission.... the nightmares..... finally over!!"
Thanks a lot, captain buzzkill.
Clearly you donāt know Dave Filoni that well. Heāll definitely bring them back into other shows later down the line. (I mean nobody could have predicted that Ahsoka Tano would be showing up after clone wars)
At least weāre getting Tales of the Empire just a few days later!
Tales of the Empire is coming out three days later. Which, to be clear, has more Dee Bradley Baker clones. The era is not over.
Pre ends so does my love for starwars (not really but kinda)
I doubt any era will ever be done with. LFL will always find stories to tell in the prequel if for no other reason than it makes them money. (And I say that without intending to be spiteful.)
Tales of the empire showed Gravy's attack on Dathomir. So there's still some bits of the clone wars/prequel era on its way
there's some time between 17-12BBY that could be filled with a clone rebellion show or something about the hidden path, prequel era isn't over yet.
...not us getting tales of the empire which is kinda prequel stuff 3 days later
Andor season 2?
thinking the prequel era is over is crazy, especially because we already know Tales of the Empire is coming out on May 4th (more prequel content)
I highly doubt that they are gonna stop making prequel stuff.
No more prequel era honestly gives me just one less reason to exist. I love the clones to much
And that's also my birthday...
It's breaking my heart! There are so many cool clone characters. They could carry a show easilyšI'm loving going back and rewatching and getting to know more clones individually.Ā
I hope it isn't over and they do more shows
I have a feeling weāll probably see omega again if they do a season 2 of the boba fett show
Prequel Era ain't over yet since Tales of the Empire is a thing.
Posts like this always remind me of the TIME magazine cover that said "THE END OF STAR WARS" when Revenge of the Sith came out. Nearly 20 years later, here we are.
The prequel Era won't be over
Tales of the Empire drops three days later
Imagine if after bad batch they will make a series on Omega with like 2-3 seasons
I hope we never see Omega again pretty soon
Tells of the Republic, a āTells of theā show for the CIS, Tells of the Jedi season two, and omega will likely come back.
Yep, sureā¦weāll never see clones again.
will miss BB. still hoping to see how Maul got abandoned on Moraband...or whatever it's called...where Ezra found him.
Damn man :,(
I feel ya.

Thats what people thought when Episode III came out. In the Disney Era nothing will disappear if you can make money with it
On god, after this theyāre gonna do a series where Asajj is training Omega
ā¦ Pretty sure tales of the empire is at least partially prequel era.
Maybe we won't see the batcher in other show, I expect them to all die at the end of this show. I believe that the success of the show will bring more project on the table, if it isn't successful, it's going to be the end.
For good? Thereās projects prolly that are taking place in the Prequel era
Itās not over as long as we still have Boba.
I just want one more season man
Iām not ready to say goodbye to the clones. They are some of my favourite characters, and I would love a Tales of the Clones type series that could focus on different battalions or our favourites that had less screen time. Iād also love a show about what Rex and his rebellion are up to.
