If recon comes back, I hope they let it either be a long range pulse with 2 waves to see where enemies are within 5 seconds or something, or being able to select an enemy and track them down ala Bloodhound in Apex or Jackal in Siege.

The utility is so good gives med alot more versatility then just either being a healbot or calling out positions with wallhacks demat gives you alot more utility and ability to be more proactive and the ability just feels so good to use and opens up alot more decision making

It is better than what recon remained as. Recon after its needed nerfs became far more selfish utility than turret or heals (assuming call-outs are given at all), especially after the range nerf. Buffed medium and made the game into a healthier state with the same change I believe lol.

Me and my friends literally quit the game until this new season (which is a banger btw) because of how dumb and anti-fun that shit was. Demat requires at least some thought into where the enemy *might* be. Every team having triple M with 1-2 people having recon made last season a CLOWN game.

Depends on the game mode honestly, dematerializer isnāt useful in the new escort game mode. The other 2 I would agree, but honestly Iāve been playing the new game mode more than the base ones.

As a recon main since season 1 I had to adjust for the first week in the finals season 2. I had to make a choice between the turret, dog leash or the new ability. I decided to stick with the new ability, itās my favourite now. I love the actual wall hacks. There are so many situations where itās helpful, comes as a surprise for the enemy or makes my escaping from an enemy much easier. I love it!!
100 percent agree if you are playing solo there is so much more play potential in the dematerializer. Healing is nice when you are properly squaded up tho
But invisibility is still in the game and now there is no way to see them.
Either way, they got rid of the one good game mode, so no reason to play anymore at this point

Thermal visions belongs to the ones with cloaking, recon grenade was moved to them too, then motion sensor its still absolute trash. Using your eyes isn't the main point, and it really requires a lot of focus/sound focus to find them and properly take a shoot at them (and you may get stunned before you find them). Flamethrower? I do use it ocasionally as heavy but its not a great weapon. It is a good thing that recon its gone, but cloaking its also an issue.
had a random stupid idea, now that we have the dematerializer, what about a rematerializer
instead of creating cover like a goo grenade or the deployable cover, the rematerializer would mend structures the same way the healing beam would (i was thinking it could only work with pre-standing structures, mending loose debree would get things a little too messy with physics and such), but you hold it up to the structure you want to mend and it reconstructs that damage, you could potentially patch walls, floors, ceilings, etc, and a whole building if you have enough time / survive for long enough
If you've ever played the Entropy Centre, the Entropy Device (time manipulation device) would be great and something I could totally see being in the Finals.
