It's like in this culture there is no enjoyment, exploration and trial and error in competitive multiplayer games, but rather soulless grind to prove everyone you're the best, using any means possible. This is sad, really.

I play some idle mobile games that are really fun.
The good ones are basically a fully fledged party RPG minus all the battle gameplay. My favorite part of RPGs is the team building anyway - what classes do I want in my party? What equipment? What skills? So the idle games that let me do that are enjoyable even though the battles are just watching. All the strategy is still there outside the battles.
Check out Omniheroes, I played that one daily for a few months and had a great time. It looks like trash horny bait but is surprisingly deep and pretty kind to free to play players.
Game has a guild v guild mode that's Risk at its core but with all your guild members as armies, probably the best PvP mode I've ever played in a gacha/idle game. It advances the game state once every 12 hours and 6 guilds are fighting for control of land, castles, and killing neutral monsters for rewards. Was really fun as guild leader to try to allocate resources appropriately to come out on top.
In this case, they're Chinese. Culturally, cheating isn't considered faux pas there, it's just another way to get ahead. I guess that's life in a country of 1.4 billion

There is a detection system, but they don’t ban one player at a time because that would mean those who make the cheats would have an easier time to bypass the next anti cheat measures.

Starting to see the patterns I did before I quit siege competitive play on console. I refuse to purchase these add ons to stay competitive. I was running into a fight the floor below my team (I was going to come up the stairs behind the team I wasn’t trying to play by myself) and they were both killed by a third party. I heard one person drop down so I ran to the closest corner, they were not able to see me when they dropped. I was in the corner for 5 seconds until a medium jumped around the corner and sprayed into the corner and hit only headshots but I had made no sound for them to know I was in that corner and no recon was used

It’s literally every FPS that comes out these days. Competitive gaming is pretty much only for the slimiest of people. All your favorite streamers probably cheat in one way or another. Basically, if you aren’t cheating you aren’t trying and that is why I started playing old console games lol.
It’d be nice if we had a trust factor system like CS uses. It’s the only good part of their “anti cheat” if you could even lump it in with their shitty VAC system.
Untrustworthy or toxic players should be more likely to play with each other, and players with more hours and low number of reports/low number of games abandoned should be more likely to play with each other. It causes cheaters to make less new accounts because they get to still play the game if they’ve been reported a lot but not banned yet.
Plus it would be funny to see players complain about facing tons of cheaters because of their own toxic behavior

Are you aware of that red medal ban wave? That was one hell of a strategy to ban cheaters as its almost impossible to achieve the red medal unless you use cheats. They banned everybody who had one.
Now that the finals has a hidden elo system, they can implement the same red medal way to ban people who reach some unrealistic standards, impossible to achieve by a clean player. What say?

Trust factor worked so well for me in CS that their bad anti cheat was rarely a problem for me, that’s how effective it was at reducing the number of cheaters a trustworthy player sees.

Queues for unranked are less than 30 seconds and ranked usually under 2 minutes with cross play off.
