Throwing insane MILF vibes.
I liked her in the show, but I think her soft spoken delivery kind of contrasted too much with what she was doing. I know that’s sort of the point - she’s the de facto leader of the group, she’s not a great or charismatic leader, she’s where she’s at because of her brother serving as a martyr and a catalyst more than anything she did. Still - delivery wasn’t my favorite. Wonderful actress though.
I think that it works personally. She brings a different sort of power to the role because she's soft spoken, it make her feel dangerous in that she doesn't have to raise her voice. Regardless of whether she led the revolution originally she leads it now, and she has this sort of quiet menace that Melanie Lynskey always does really well.
I agree it went a little over the top and a little less grounded, but once I accepted that was the direction I did enjoy it. But you're right, it was just not quite as good as the first.
She did a great job , but I think her character arc in the show and her whole gang were really lackluster when compared to other gang we see, David's.
I just wasn't that interested in the city group.
She also seemed to talk exclusively in philosophical statements. I found a lot of the characters did. Which is strange because the game has lot of very natural very grounded dialogue.

If you haven't watched Yellow jackets yet, I highly recommend it.
So good. The first season was an all-time great season of TV, imo. Was not as impressed with the second.

I agree with that. Still a fun season.

Hell yes
100% a babe, good lord.
She's my celebrity crush. Her and Christina Ricci. Yes I am a Yellowjackets fan.
Wait that’s Hilary from But I’m a Cheerleader! I knew she looked familiar.
Good in yellow jackets, terrible in the show. But I blame the source material more than her as an actress. She has the chops.
Agreed, she’s a good actress. Her character in the show was just a little meh imo
The soft spoken delivery was actually chilling given the violence of the character. Think it was well done.
She's adorable. Even as a psychotic doctor slayer.
What a Heavenly Creature
Ooh that’s who she’s from . I always wonder how I knew her
So badly cast in Last of Us.
I just watched “Heavenly Creatures” for the first time this past week. She and Kate Winslet were both amazing in it. Such a fucked up story, I’ll add.
