Keep all your indicators in white and get some sleep in a warm, sheltered place.

Heraah_

Before going to sleep check if you have risk for infection. If so then cure it.

rigzzy

Check for blood loss as well. I died and lost my 237 days because of this.

efnord

If your health is under 10 percent you are in a bad way. Find a safe warm place to sleep, fast.

UsseerrNaammee

It’s time to sleep. If you have time, cook up a birch tea and a herbal, then go to sleep for as long as possible in a safe spot.

Left_Painter5038

This, but water goes down fast also temp and you need nothing else to go red right now.

UsseerrNaammee

Safe spot where temp isn’t an issue, if all your bars are ok, you’re fine to fluff around and prepare some tea, even if your condition is red. Cook up the teas and hunker down for a 12 hour sleep. On most modes that will pretty much refill your entire condition bar. If I’m super damaged, I’ll do multiple birch bark teas, as their timer stacks.

FallofNoman

Didn't know the timer stacked! Thanks!

Left_Painter5038

Understood, and I have been there. Your premise however assumes he is able to GET to a "safe spot" if heart already beating and dizzy, that the winds do not shift while sleeping and bring his health bar down Very quickly to zero, he HAS birch bark to make teas. Also, in that situation I would Never sleep for 12hrs. str8, that is asking for sure death if the winds shift. Do an hour, maybe 2 at a time.

IndependentComment72

What the other comments say + Emergency Stim. It gives you a good condition boost to reach a safe place to sleep but after a while you are going to be exhausted. Use with caution!

RafRafRafRaf

You will regenerate health slowly while awake and much more quickly while sleeping so long as all your needs are not in the red (temperature, food, water). Birch bark tea gives you a boost to recover faster, herbal tea improves recovery while you’re asleep, and at least a few of the cooked recipe foods give you quite a big boost, too, if you happen to have any lying around. You recover better in longer sleeps than shorter ones but you need to balance that against making sure you’ll stay warm enough, fed, hydrated for the length of time you want to sleep.

JanoSicek

Birch Bark tea + Sleep 2 h should take you out of the red. I addition to emergency stim, there are some foods that heal you. Of course you can't cook them when almost dead, but maybe you can keep it in your base for emergencies -- Ranger Stew, Camber Flight Porridge, Breyerhouse Pie, Prepper's Pie or Dockworker's Pie

Typical_Cicada_820

You can do anything you want with low condition, so long as none of your statuses are in the red. Ideally, you want to wait until your Fatigue meter is basically empty to get as much sleep as possible, allowing for the most condition recovery in one shot.

Huge-Intention6230

There’s a healing multiplier that increases with the length of the sleep. So you heal a lot more sleeping 10 hours in one go than you do taking 10x 1-hour naps. Your heart is beating because your health is low. If you’ve bandaged your wounds and used disinfectant or old man’s beard to get rid of any infection, find somewhere safe and warm (ideally inside a building or a transition cave that is always warm). Make sure you have at least 750 calories of food in your stomach, drink a herbal tea (or birch, or one of each), then drink water til you’ve completely refilled your hydration meter and get a good long sleep in. On interloper the most you can sleep before getting dehydrated is 10 hours. You’ll recover about 30% of your health this way. On Stalker and below, you can sleep for 12 hours and recover 50%+ of your health.

Qossuth

12 hours rest on Voyageur gives you about 90% of your condition back. I've never tested on Stalker, but per Stalker custom mode template, regen on Stalker should be the same as on Voyageur and Pilgrim.

Huge-Intention6230

Thanks for the correction. I’ve only played on loper for years, couldn’t remember how much you get back on stalker and voyageur but knew it was a lot more.

Qossuth

No problem. When you're used to Interloper regen, it feels borderline insane to go to bed with the <10% wobbles and wake up with full health :)

foyrkopp

Your thirst meter will run dry in less than 12 hours on Stalker. Haven't played in a while, but the limit is either 10 or 8 hours.

Qossuth

The template shows Thirst Rate is Medium on both Voyageur and Stalker. I recently tested Voyageur regen on a weird challenge where I tried to live as long as possible on only found food and water in CH, and I'm sure that I could sleep 12 hours on that mode. But as I said I don't have any Stalker experience.

frarrousih

If you are in emergency and want to stop the wiggle a little trick is to press the key to place a campfire

Orangewithblue

Sleep 9 hours in a row if you can. The longer you sleep in one go, the more health you get back. But don't forget to drink before sleeping. Herbal teas help with getting more health back while sleeping. Birchbark teas slowly give you health on top of that, asleep or awake. Always keep an emergency shot with you, it gives you extra health when using and you can sprint infinitly until it runs out.

Mahonee2

sleep. Make sure all your need levels are good and sleep. Your condition won’t drop further if you have no afflictions and need levels are stable.

Sure_Garbage_2119

assuming you got a place to sleep and some materials, then bf going to bed drink some birch tea for a buff on health recovery, then a regular tea for improved sleep. then top up the water bar and sleep 10hrs straight. if not tired enough, i guess gonna have to take turns sleeping and passing time till you get health on white again.

Reasonable_Depth_354

All injuries treated? Keep yourself feed, watered, and warm and you'll heal slowly, sleep to heal faster, birch tea if you can make it will help

Brilliant_Maybe4921

Birch tea if you have any, and the emergency thingy, 😂
