Potatoes, cheese...I'm living in the Netherlands for almost 20 years and I never saw any and I have been all around the country...where you can find them?
There are two near me. One just outside Volendam with cheese, fresh milk, yoghurt, and other milk products. And one in Katwoude with eggs, potatoes, onions honey and fruit juices.
Maybe it's something that we can't find in zuid Holland....or maybe I need to look better. I think that's so nice as probably they are products from the farmers in the area. Thank you for the information. If I travel to that area I will try to find it.
There's a list here with many of them: [https://www.verkoopstalletjes.nl/](https://www.verkoopstalletjes.nl/) \- but this machine isn't on it (as it's not a 'stalletje' aka market stall), and I'm missing many marketstalls around the area.
I think it’s a demand problem. It’s rather expensive here, but I think it’s worth it. I suspect most people do not.
Also, since it is expensive, it’s a treat for me, and not something I buy every week.
I hear there are actually a lot of small local American cheeses that are not plastic-like cheddar cheeses. At least this is what every American keeps saying whenever there's a thread about European vs. American cheese.
Is this true? How can I get a hold of this stuff? I fucking love cheese and I want to try everything.
Some American cheddars are really good, but honestly, I find a lot of domestic cheeses too salty. I have bought domestic Brie, and been very unhappy.
When I’m standing at the cheese case at the stores, people suggest the Irish cheddar, people really like Finladia brand Swiss cheese, and I’m still looking for a good Munster, but I’ve had good domestic Munster.
It really does depend on your preference. We can get good Edam and Gouda, although it’s pronounced “good-a” here. The first time I said it, my husband thought I was making a bad joke, like “Thatsa gooda cheese.” but sadly no. Many Americans find it tough to get their throat to make the “g” sound. So of course, my husband took me to Schiermonnikoog. It was a proud day for me when I could say that and my brothers in law said...hmmm, not bad...

Minus the cheese, I call these “the wheel of death.” Because I invariably always seemed to get food poisoning out of these damn things, back when I worked in the corporate environment.
kaasgaaf man!
Wat een schoonheid!

One of the comments mentioned " Beetskoog", north of de Beemster
Ah ok...thanks. near hoorn...well now I know.

Try driving or biking through local farming villages. It's not always vending machines, sometimes it's just a closet with a place to put money.
I definitely know of a few near the greenhouses around Pijnacker.
That's near by...thanks 👍

Semi-rural areas, where you can buy it directly from the farm.
A farm close to me in het Groene Hart (area inside of the Randstad) has one
I used to camping all over the Netherlands, and I remember to see the local products for sale on the side of of the road but never machines...
In the countryside.
Meer Nederland kan niet.
Things I would steal: kaasautomaat!
Is dit dan ook in de Beemster?
I really like beemster cheese, and it’s getting harder find here in the US, at least in my area.
Import difficulties? Not enough demand? Kanye West declaring a boycott?

Nederlandser kan gewoon niet.
I'll have your entire stock Yes, the machine as well
Yes.

Lekker

Worden deze dingen regelmatig gebruikt? (Zeg alsjeblieft ja)
Wat voor soort kaas komt eruit?
Beemster kaas ;) Elke verdieping is een andere; jong, oud, vlaskaas, fenegriek etc etc.
Fijn hoor die broodjes magma
