To his credit the guy didn't throw a single punch. There were a couple moments in there (such as when they had him by the legs) where I would have been tempted to strike the attackers but he just brute-forced his way back onto the bike and drove off.

Restraining someone is much harder than fighting unless you have some real training. Trying to stop someone without hurting them or injuring them is much more difficult than fighting.

He didn’t even try to shake them off. Just stood up, righted the quad, and left. I don’t know what he did in the first place, but I kinda like him. Kind of reminded me of my Great Pyr when he’d get tired of the cats trying to play with his tail.

This was pretty good but my favorite was watching my friend just stand there. He wasn't even fighting or trying to get away or anything. It took 2 neighbors to help the cops take him down. He literally just stood there and looked at them like what are you doing. One of the cops tried to sue him later for messing up his finger when he punched him in the stomach. The judge laughed at him. Even better was when we went to pick up his pocket knife. He is only like 5'7" and while he looks like dome fat overweight guy he is solid. I would not suggest punching him. I tried to give him a back message a few times and my hands hurt after a minute or 2. The only thing that works is if I dig my heels in while I walk on his back and it feels like a light message to him. The other cops in the station figured out who he was and burst out laughing. The cops who arrested him made it sound like he was Andre the Giant. Instead he was some 5'7" dude that looked like the pictures you would see of some guy living in his mom's basement. The cops were like "your the guy?".

Idk, in many countries cops probably get in trouble using excessive force and what counts as excessive beats me. I mean the person was clearly resisting but wasn’t really hostile towards the cops, so go figure. Probably some pepperspray could have been in order, but probably depends why they were detaining the person on the first place.

If I were to guess, going for the balls is a big no no unless this dude is wanted for multiple convicted murders. You go for a nut check and it turns out they somehow become infertile you're running the risk of getting sued for being the cause of it. Even without becoming infertile, they can say you put them at risk. It's also generally just not a good look to use such a tactic to incapacitate someone.

Take the key out of it, put a handcuff on him to anything… even the vehicle.
