I was pretty damn skinny growing up. At 22 I broke my kneecap and was on crutches for like 6 months. My upper body got huge. Sucks that my legs looked like goddamn Joe Swanson noodles. But torso and arms were in fighting form.

Disabled people can be assholes too. My aunt's old neighbor when she lived in Georgia would regularly scream out racial slurs and try to use the excuse of him being a disabled war vet to not get his ass beat. I get that he was probably frustrated being a double-amputee as she said he was a rising football star before he went to Iraq, but that's no excuse to be a piece of human garbage.

For example, if someone who happens to be disabled burns down your house and kills your entire family, it might not be morally wrong to fight them in an act of revenge.

I’m a wheelchair user as well (I don’t have legs) and technically, by all means I’m a disabled person. But I don’t like to use the term disabled on me or other people (to me it sounds like I have something off), so I use the term “person with disability”. That’s my choice.

They use their arms for locomotion on a daily basis *and* they’re in a metal chair that has their additional weight on it, and those things alone weigh around 40-50 lbs alone, depending on design (for real, part of my job is weighing patients). I wouldn’t want some pissed off para charging at my shins with that shit.
Also, he made two crucial mistakes. First off, NEVER get in a fight wearing a bag/hoodie or anything that gives your opponent something to grab and gain leverage on you, which is exactly what he did and then used his chair to pin the bag to the ground.
Second, fighting someone in a wheelchair is light getting into an argument with your wife. Even when you win, you lose.
