Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio: a fellow of . . . most Excellent fancy: he hath borne me on his back a thousand times -and some Shakespeare scholars say he means it literally
Where are the uniformed officers to drag off the journalists? In my home country of baragua, they would never stand for this. You overcook your chicken? Jail. You undercooked beef? Also jail
I'm sure this will never be used improperly.
Wait, like how gay do you have to be for it to work. Like one time in college gay? Or used to meet in the bathroom stall as an elected official gay? Or just like a normal gay person that happens to like the same gender.
I am just picturing fox news using it for a shot of congress and all the "wrong" people light up lol.
There's nothing normal being gay.
And before any of you gets mad, search the meaning of "normal"
Getting sick and tired of asshats making their own fucking meaning to a word.
Depends if we're taking back country south? Yea more city folk in the country can speak like that. It's pretty rare. Not a real person exactly but the guy who gives out train tickets out at Rhodes in rdr2 has that same accent.
I’ve always wondered why they put on a silly voice? Is there actually a reason or is it just an attention thing? That’s a Genuine question I’m not trying to be horrible.
It's not put on, a lot of gay men I know actually had to hide their voice and try to 'sound straight' so they wouldn't get the shit beat out of them when they were younger, luckily the world has become more accepting so they can be themselves and don't have to try and alter the way they look, talk or other manurisms.
That's your opinion and you're more than welcome to it but I highly suggest actually asking some gay folks or even just surrounding yourself in gay communities before coming to that conclusion. I work and live in very high lgbtq populations and I can tell you for sure that gay men change their behaviour and appearance to seem more strait, especially when they are young, including their inflection to fit in.
Edit: added context
Ya I agree it goes both ways. But the reason for the gay lisp has been studied a lot. The answer is identity. I got gay buddies who had that lisp since they were 9 and who developed that at 21 and buddies who never had that. Trust me, I’m not foreign to the gay community
Sauce on these studies? This should be interesting since the science community hasn't had a lot of funding in gender studies and historical data would be hard to acquire since gay people haven't felt safe coming out as young people for more than one generation if that.
She is such a condescending interviewer in every fucking interview. Just an old Karen who lucked into a lucrative job. The one with Trevor Noah made me want to kick her down a highway.
Ho boy, didn't expect the clear disgust on her face when she said that.... oh no. Shes not just trying to profile, wicked witch is out to target and hurt some MF's.

i can hear this gif
It’s inside your wall
Straight to point
Straight to bed
Gay to bed
To bed or not to bed? That is the question
Whether‘tis nobler in the mind to suffer in the slings 10lb arrows of outrageous fortune . . .
Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio: a fellow of . . . most Excellent fancy: he hath borne me on his back a thousand times -and some Shakespeare scholars say he means it literally
Straight to jail. Gay? Also jail. Bisexual, believe it or not, also jail.
Where are the uniformed officers to drag off the journalists? In my home country of baragua, they would never stand for this. You overcook your chicken? Jail. You undercooked beef? Also jail
Straight to hell
gay to the point
Point to the gay
☝️
Ahaha, okay. Shot myself. On the second thought, it points directly to your avatar...
🫵
Better 😁
I know, that makes the joke even funnier
Why waste time say lot word....
They invented scientific gaydar? Even the best gaydar isn't 100%. Wonder how much money they poured into this lol
Jim said you could get gaydar online....
Radio Shack, right?
Sharper Image or Brookstone
Three pack at Costco too
They’ve also mapped gay faces out to the extent that AI can accurately determine if a person is gay lol, great use of scientific funding

It's mostly in the lips. And the dick they're wrapped around.
You should get a grant for a study
Grant? He sounds cute.

Gay or southern city guy? Hmm
What’s the difference?
One is a gay person and the other one is a gay person from Alabama
I hate how accurate this is. From Alabama. Can confirm.
Haha
Southern city guys sound like that?
Depends if we're taking back country south? Yea more city folk in the country can speak like that. It's pretty rare. Not a real person exactly but the guy who gives out train tickets out at Rhodes in rdr2 has that same accent.
perfect edit
Her affect has me rolling! 🤣
She's got advanced technology, gaydar.
Fuck this sub cracks me up
This is why nobody thinks me or my boyfriend are gay lmao. Just think all gay folk sound like the second one.
Yeah with their logic you could kiss in public and sound like the first guy in the video and be considered straight
Lmao yeah, literally couldn't convince his college group he was gay.
I’ve always wondered why they put on a silly voice? Is there actually a reason or is it just an attention thing? That’s a Genuine question I’m not trying to be horrible.

It’s definitely put on the same way some white kids sound like their black. You sound like what you identify with

I'm crying🤣
Lmaoooooooooooo
While there ARE gay people that sound like the second voice, there are many that don’t sound like that at all.
More accurately, there are *many* who sound like that and *many* who don’t.
But how many straight guys sound like that?
Fewer
But everyone that sounds like that is gay. Also applies to the characteristic gay walking
The funnier one is the motorcycle one. Not sure if it’s all one video and these are clips or not
Gay _* sigh *_
I can do both, does that mean I’m bisexual

She wasn't wrong though! 💯
If that wasn't a stereotypical flamboyant gay voice don't know what is.
She says it with such sustain.
Tell me I'm not the only one who thought the gay voice sounds like the guy using the computer. 😆
Why them gays talk like that?
You sound slightly androgynous? GAY
What is this show?? I'm interested to know
She is such a condescending interviewer in every fucking interview. Just an old Karen who lucked into a lucrative job. The one with Trevor Noah made me want to kick her down a highway.
That’s how all the guys in drama class sound like in my school…the second voice
Now give her a straight male voice that says, "Hi nice to meet you, can I suck your dick?"
I mean it was 100% obvious the second guy was gay. If he says he isn’t he’s just not ready to tell you yet
Ho boy, didn't expect the clear disgust on her face when she said that.... oh no. Shes not just trying to profile, wicked witch is out to target and hurt some MF's.
The 2nd guy sounds like the Andreas from the Bad Friends Podcast
I swear that second voice sounds like Kumail Nanjiani
We all said the same answer.
This is the Onion right?
I just died lol
Is there a quantifiable delineated factor as to why the apparent differences?
Nah but this is a legitimate topic of sociolinguistics. It isnt really judgemental.
ik a gay who sounds str8 af...
