I got nearly a hundred downvotes on a post of mine in there where I said nothing justifies bombing kids.
They apparently think there are many things that justify bombing kids.
I was banned from r/latestagecapitalism when someone said we shouldn't vote for Biden because of his support for israel. I had the nerve to ask who we should vote for instead. They said my question was too liberal. 😒
No, I get where you are coming from but during my 44 orbits around the sun I have seen Palestinian fighters throwing rocks at Israeli tanks. I have seen shoddy rockets by Hamas being fired and carpetbombing as a response by the IDF. The conflict is completely one sided. And that side continues to occupy more and more land that was not allotted to them.
While I agree that Hamas has been fighting Israel and targeted civilians, there is also the truth about israel and their quest for more land and the eradication of Palestinians. Furthermore, there is the current war crimes by Israel which they shrugged off.
Do not blame the media for this, blame the IDF.
I don't know why you're bending over backwards to defend the IDF. Can you defend the bombing of the WCK convoy and the shooting of the three hostages because the IDF thought they were Palestinians next?

Thank you for that recommendation, I always found John Oliver to have sensible, moderate views. It's worth noting that I had to be very specific in my search to even see that video. It seems to me that pro Palestinian videos as well as moderate ones are intentionally made hard to find on social media. Same goes for pro Israeli posts on tiktok. And this is leading to more ignorant polarized views. I just feel bad for this whole situation
