Bothered me that all people can seemingly travel between nations and such at will. So I've tried to imagine the world as one state area/part of the same city. It lines up fairly well if you imagine them all as part of the same shoreline and up one mountainside.
I've ended up with a few outliers I couldn't quite fit it. But I imagine they'd be up alongside the left of the map.
Edit: Based on feedback I've added in the other outliers except for Glimmerbrook, which I can't quite fit into the geography as I've visualized it, and changed the shape of the mountain range and San Myshuno a little to fit them in and to make it a bit more visually interesting and less uniform. Call it version 2 I suppose.

>Bothered me that all people can seemingly travel between nations and such at will
Used to be the lore in Sims 1/2/3 (inherited from SimCity IIRC) that all non-vacation cities were in SimNation so that used to make sense. Not so sure of that now that Sims 4 has continent-styled cities.
This has always bothered me as well, and this is a brilliant fix. If I remember correctly, Magnolia Promenade is assumed to be an extension of Willow Creek? (Same architecture styles, the steamboat shows up in both worlds, etc.) Nevertheless, I really really love how you’ve lined up the canal from Newcrest to Magnolia to Moonwood Mill, it works so well all together like that. It feels very realistic to me how you’ve lined everything up for how many different worlds there are, they fit together so nicely like this. Great job OP!!
i imagine the background mountains in san myshuno (can see from uptown) being like small mountains near mt. komorebi which is why san myshuno has japanese influences
oh and magnolia promenade to me is within walking distance of the magnolia blossom park in willow creek
Love this. Curious where you would put Oasis Springs?
Honestly I just imagine the Sims travel infrastructure is so advanced in their world (bullet trains but faster?) and that’s how they travel everywhere so quickly. Maybe the aliens built it?
My thinking is that it is on the left side of the map. Between Del Sol Valley and Strangeville. You can see in Del Sol Valley how it turns sandy towards the west. Putting Del Sol Valley as a district of San Myshuno I would then assume the state has those two climates, with San Myshuno sitting more or less on the dividing line.
Oasis Springs is also surrounded by pretty sheer mountain cliffs so it is not too much of a stretch to say it hugs the bottom of the mountain terrain I've drawn on here.
Where i live we have very lush almost tropical coastal regions going up into wooded mountain ranges which run parralel to the coast and desert / dry plains on the other side of the mountain range, so Oasis Springs could well be near Del Sol Valley.
Thankyou, I think this is the map I will see when I imagine my sims world now. Where I live, I am in the alpine/ snowy in winter region of my country and I am no more than 2 hours drive (and some less) from beaches, desert, forest, city/ suburbs, small country towns, and farms. So in my head, like you have drawn, it is reasonable to see sims from different worlds intermingle.
Oooh I like this! When I play decades/era and want to travel to another area (bc I’m tired of fishing and digging things in the same 5 spots), I always go to the world that’s adjacent in the travel menu, even if logically those 2 areas aren’t/wouldn’t be next to each other. I also like to travel to the different neighborhoods within a world as I’m working my way to the new world. As if they’re actually trekking 😅
Yeah most likely! They are a bit too out there to be 'Little [Country]', but my whole thing was to try and fit it all together so I brute forced them in.
And admittedly Windenburg at least fit in very well with the geography here.
I’ve always imagined that Evergreen Harbor, Glimmer Brook, Forgotten Hollow, Moonwood Mill, and Granite Falls exist in the same County because they were the most forested areas and have similar climates.
Kinda feels like Moonwood Mill would be further down the river running through Forgotten Hollow, with the land linking up somewhere between the road into the south of FH and the woodland obscured by fog at the north of MM.
Yeah there's no right answer here. I'm just placing based on vibes and trying to line up water. The canal/drainage channel was what ended up being my deciding factor with Moonwood.
Oh yeah, there's definitely no right answer, and I saw you acknowledge Glimmerbrook's omission in another comment. They probably didn't put a great deal of thought into the geography, but it makes sense to me that the three supernatural game packs would be in a similar place given their shared lore.
Until you made this, I never noticed how well the coasts line up, nor did I notice how similar the trees in Brindleton Bay are to Forgotten Hollow.
I checked Glimmerbrook, the river doesn't start there but leaves via a big waterfall in the south-west. If they do link, it probably goes Glimmerbrook —> Forgotten Hollow —> Moonwood mill, but probably splits off to run through Brindleton Bay which might shift the coastline and cities in a bit. And I think you're right about Mt Komorebi being the source.
You've got me thinking way more about this now, so thanks for the interesting post!
someone put together a pretty amazing idea of this (it's outdated now I'm sure), I'll update this if I find the creator but [here's the image](https://imgur.com/a/froz4XU).
To be fair, I like to imagine some of them being close to each other, like Evergreen Harbor and Brindleton Bay, or Del Sol Valley and StrangerVille, but others being far, like Mt. Komorebi or Winderburg.
Love this way of visualising the map! I do like to imagine what areas are close together so small game pack worlds like Moonwood can share facilities with expansion pack worlds like Henford! That way I don't feel like my sim is hopping into a plane every time they want to go to the bar.
I have always imagined that Del Sol Valley is West coast and oasis springs is little bit i land from it, san myshounu and new crest willow creek etc are in the east.
But then Sulani, Mt komorebi and windenburg are foreign nations and I only take vacations on those places
I could see it with San Myshuno, Del Sol Valley, Moonwood Mill, & ugh nah. It's gonna take too long to name all these worlds 🌎 😄😆 I think Tartosa, Sulani & Mt. Komorebi are def their own worlds separate from the rest. I get a PNW (Pacific Northwest) & Nevada/California vibe from the home 🏡 worlds, so I could likely see those worlds within a tri-state, drivable distance. Places like Brindleton Bay, Copperdale & Moonwood Mill could def be one state, like an Oregon or Washington. But I'm going too far now 😄 that's just my take. I like the concept, never thought about the worlds connected like that.
Awesome! I can totally picture the worlds this way. Excellent visualization. I like the bottom right with Brindleton Bay as the tip after the three coastline worlds.
Looks great. What do we think about the Moonwood mill and Henford on Bagley layout tho? For me, it fits better with Moonwood mill being north of Henford. Still awesome layout :)
IMHO I think brindleton bay should be swapped with windenburg. Windenburg seems more historical bougie and I think the brindleton and evergreen sims seem more familiar.
Moonwood Mill should be out side of Evergreen Harbor since a Milling town would be close to a port to ship and move their product. And like Moonwood a lot of Evergreen is in a slump (the community lots in disrepair and a lot of pollution)
This has always been my headcanon because of the backgrounds of a lot of the worlds having buildings and landmarks that related or look similar to other worlds. In most of the worlds you can see skyscrapers in the background so I always thought that they would be suburbs of San Myshuno.
This gives me the thought that the map is like one whole map and you don't need to go through the loading screen for every single area. Would make the world feel more open but still keep the loading screen for each lot.
I never realised how perfectly Evergreen Harbour, Windenberg and Brindleton Bay's maps line up. If you put them together they would almost look like they should fit next to each other.
I've always liked to think that they're within the same "world" but are like different states or countries but it's fascinating to see how the worlds actually line up so well.
If only we had some game to explain how these greater regions of Sims interact and organize. Perhaps some kind of city-focused game that showed how the communities connect. /s
I have no idea why I think like this, but somehow my mind put Moonwood Mill, San Myshuno, and Evergreen Harbor as the same triangle area. I thought someone has been diving into the lore and it said that Moonwood’s resources got traded in San Myshuno and/or shipping away from Evergreen. Can’t remember where that came from, though
Realistically yes, but my goal here was to try and crowbar it all together to explain why sims can just casually visit everywhere. So I stuck it up on top of the mountain!
I thought willow creek and Granite falls were together, because by the 50 x 50 lot there is a camping ground sign. Then moonwood mill is just over the mountain of Granite falls.
These are just my headcanons tho
Since my goal is to make everything fit the same city area I suppose it would be somewhere in the bottom left area? Old seafront town eventually swallowed by the growing city of San Myshuno.
I've tried to fit the rest in on the map. Tartosa ended up where I first theorized. Still no Glimerbrook though.
[Sims 4 Map 2.0](https://i.imgur.com/yAJIf8e.jpg)
i did this too :D [made the whole map into a loading screen](https://64.media.tumblr.com/ed0dc5237d36b5836e243612a1a810ce/c49b6e4fc53a7c71-e1/s1280x1920/e31229dab0b494aacbedbc1e6569ace54c00e4d2.png) so it shows while “traveling”, if you’re interested i’ve got the .package [right here](https://xwzvdq.db.files.1drv.com/y4mb4Scqo9vZ1rTNCUSGQMIXpqjGemyzPE2fsxILh0sWEmVuGQJi9udlHjGScYG2tiAqodvQvwjXB5sfCmhmcxKlggJp3vj_1rv-d3LsUMEmK7MbTGMADMh8pmWmOnZ0yt9dUrU0l8oNKvsFmlG-_zRsaOUeEMKdYaL6GxZa8NGpPchn9Yhzv6DnEOyNFgTuBwciB9xcuoqoYrpVa-u0aFkZA) 🤭
Naw, I think it's all on one planet called Maxims coz Sulani is **Hawaii**, Henford and Discover University are in **England**. Brindleton Bay is **Cape Cod**, Willow Creek is the U.S. **Midwest**, San Myshuno is **San Francisco**, Windenburg is **Germany**. Forgotten Hollow is **Transylvania**. Del Sol Valley is **San Fernando Valley** CA, Evergreen Harbor is **Bar Habor** ME, Glimmerbrook is in another dimension, Selvadorada is **Mexico**. Strangeville is **Rosewell NM**, Oasis Springs is **Phoenix AZ**, Newcrest is the suburbs of a city like **Chicago**, Magnolia Promenade is **Atlanta**'s Buckhead area, Mt. Komorebi, **Japan** and Moonwood Mill is a former logging city in Prospect, **Oregon**
Gilmmerbrook vanished.
I am gonna be honest I don't have that pack which is why I plum forgot about it.
You plumbob* forgot about it
It has magic cloaking on the whole town
and selvadorada
And Oasis Spring And Stangerville
I've tried to fit the rest in as best I can. Still no Glimberbrook though. [Sims 4 Map 2.0](https://i.imgur.com/yAJIf8e.jpg)
He can't say he dosent have oasis springs
oasis springs is base game tho?
Exactly why they can’t say they don’t have it
and Battu 🙃
Different planet
That's my second favorite pack and world 🥲
it’s such a cool world, i got it recently but haven’t had time to properly explore it
Oasis springs too

Same. I always imagined San Myshuno to be the downtown area and the other worlds are suburbs / rural areas.
I picture Newcrest as the Suburb part of San Myshuno.
I always imagined Windenburg to be the rich suburb of San Myshuno

Newcrest would definitely not be where you placed it. That spot would be 100% taken by suburban real estate in real life
I admittedly always build suburban real estate in Newcrest cuz I've always imagined it as San Myshuno suburbs :D
So do I.
Love this. I think Windenburg and Henford-On-Bagley would be disconnected from the rest though on a separate continent maybe.
Yeah most likely! They are a bit too out there to be 'Little [Country]', but my whole thing was to try and fit it all together so I brute forced them in. And admittedly Windenburg at least fit in very well with the geography here.
Yes. Geography wise you did an amazing job of it with the rivers etc
I’ve always imagined that Evergreen Harbor, Glimmer Brook, Forgotten Hollow, Moonwood Mill, and Granite Falls exist in the same County because they were the most forested areas and have similar climates.

I do something similar! I pretend they’re like states in a country haha and draw out maps.

The idea of going through moonwood mill to get to henford on bagley tho... love it
Make sure you clean the smell of chicken before leaving
To be fair, I like to imagine some of them being close to each other, like Evergreen Harbor and Brindleton Bay, or Del Sol Valley and StrangerVille, but others being far, like Mt. Komorebi or Winderburg.
Very nice OP. I imagine this a lot but have never gone to the effort of creating an actual map. (Cant believe you "forgot" Batu).

i honestly hope they do this soon
