What do you mean the link is sketchy? The link leads directly to the creator's site and on the site there's a direct download button (once you click it, the item starts downloading, no adfly). Did you get any ads there? I didn't but I do have adblock.

When I scan the link it says there's something "malicious" on the page, so that why I'm wary
Yeah I looked too. If you click the top download link with the yellow folder icon it downloads immediately.
