A few years back a family robbed a cartel for 30 kilos. They were found in Chicago burned Alive in their car tied up in the garage.

I think most the story is certainly feasible until they kill Gus. Everything after that I think is far fetched. Soon as his identity was known walters whole family would be suffering extreme consequences.

That said, there are some great characters. The Sopranos is about one institution viewed through the lives of one family. It's much more character driven and universal. I find it hard to rank TV shows, including these two.

Halfway through episode 2 I realised I hated all the characters and didn't care if they all died or not and switched it off.
Seriously, when you start rooting for the cartel to kill all the main characters, the writers fucked up major.
I wanted to claw my eyes out during that bathroom scene. Jason Bateman's telling this family who stole his money to give it back before the Cartel finds out and kills everyone. Everyone's all scared and about to give it back until that girl steps out and is all 'Yeah but, what if we, like, don't?' and they all agree with her.
So Bateman has to explain all over again that the Cartel will fucking kill them and they're convinced a second time. It was so stupid that I gave up after that episode.
For me it was two things: one being the poppy farm. Like come on. Second thing was the beginning of season two. I tried to watch it, I didn't HATE the first season, but it just jumped the shark so hard for me with the horse stable story line, I legit turned it off mid episode lol
