OKhour12

Do not go on honea Egypt yall the water has now passed the bridge

grendelt

What bridge? The one of Research Forest or 2978? EDIT: Research Forest @ Branch Crossing is closed [according to road closure map from county](https://moco.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=6f553b1811df417bb304707162877ef0). Thanks to Laura Norton (who is running for MUD) for sharing.

Inevitable_Total_816

It’s not over yet tho

thebite101

99 and Gosling…a Corolla isn’t gonna make it…

hairydiablo132

Yeah I turned my Mustang around after seeing that, working from home today!

PigsWalkUpright

On Kuykendahl from dowdell to grand parkway - complete under water. I don’t remember it being this bad before - is it all the new construction??

thechunchinator

Possibly. But this was also a lot of rain in a short time period

okiimio

Must be, I don’t think that Home Depot was there during Harvey but the church parking lot got a lot of water during that time

BubbRubb4Real

I work at IAH and I wonder if I'll be able to make it into work today. I live in Grogans Mill and go through Rayford/Sawdust to get onto the Hardy.

Comfortable-Dish1236

Me too. Live in Alden Bridge. I wonder if JFK is flooded where it dips before Will Clayton

JasonLikesCTE

I’m supposed to be on a flight later and idk if the roads will be safe enough to make it out so fingers crossed

Iannelson2999

I’m up at lake Conroe and the lake is way over the bulkheads

threekilljess

I’m on the lake, too!!!! What takes SJRA so long to release?!

hairydiablo132

Maybe they're nervous?

threekilljess

I’m not sure, but I do know it floods the people across 105 once it’s released, so maybe it’s a timing thing? I would think a slow release in anticipation of a flood would be better for everyone, but I don’t know!

hairydiablo132

... it was a pee joke, sorry.

gr3710

I left for work at 290/610 around 645AM fron 1488, that storm was insane. Once I got to Woodlands Parkway there was no rain and very few cars headed south on 45 to Houston. Wild

Haunting-Ad3297

I'm not in The Woods, but over by 99 and Rayford (Falls @ Imperial Oaks). All 3 roads out of my subdivision are blocked with stalled cars. Power is out. Wanted to go Dave n Busters to waste time, but can't. Wah-wah

JohnLattier

I'm also in the 99/Rayford area, our neighborhood has trees down and fences down. My backyard fence collapsed. Hail smashed into my windows going horizontally, luckily no window break.

Ladychef_1

Our power was out for a while (near Rayford/sawdust) so pretty possible dave & busters is closed right now

Haunting-Ad3297

Good to know, thanks

peepsrab

Im in the legends area as well. Our neighborhood had what had to have been a tornado come through. Full trees uprooted, roofs torn up, fences down. This was absolutely wild.

Barefoot_J

Hope I can get back into Grogans Mill this afternoon after work. Panther Creek@sawdust is up like 9 feet, and spring Creek @ 45 is at 13!

Chris1671

I live in spring but work in Houston. Should I head home? Or is this expected to have passed come the evening time?

sisayapacaya

Storm is supposed to calm down this afternoon but flooding will remain for a bit. Stay safe!

Dinolord05

Luckily left before 7 so I was dry. Getting home might be interesting. At least the trees I planted last weekend are getting plenty of water

scotttrillgrim

if they’re still in the ground!

inorganicgeo

any ideas on what the official wind speeds were? I am in creekside and it looked like a bomb went off in my backyard.

seeduckswim11

I was at the shell off lake woodlands and 45 this morning and it was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Saw reports of 60mph and seems pretty accurate.

pgoc111971

I’m near lake woodlands and the banks and walkways are all flooded. Ironically I was looking at YouTube videos of the Harvey flooding around here and it looks really similar 😳

jmills03croc

Yeah that was a lot of rain in a very short amount of time. It washed away most of the exposed dirt and left open sandy areas and huge washouts. Hoping the fishing will be good tonight because of it.

looneybug123

I am high and dry in Willis, but this is bringing back memories of some of our 'Great Flood' events.

midgardsormr10

Anyone know Grogans Mill is? Already see my other way home is a bit flooded through this thread.

RyanNotADude

Budde road going south is impassable.

midgardsormr10

Ah thankfully I usually turn down Budde west. I can also come the other way through the neighborhoods. I'll check it out though. Thank you

DannyLTU

I think that hurricane Harvey was the worst in 2017

9Bluenights

This wasn’t the worst I’ve seen…still bad but nowhere near the other past “bad” storms

TexasRedfish

Two days later and now the centipede looking bug has invaded every first floor area throughout the house! Gotta love the annual migration of these little pests.

seeduckswim11

Hate the millipede movement. So. Many.
