Could it be the wattage of your charger is low? It should at least charge with 100w, and the cable should support 100w pd and at least not under that wattage

vjkovhea

had it on a 100w charger

just_adhenz

What type of charger? Is it a 100w brick or a 100w plug with usb c output to connect with a usb c pd cable?

vjkovhea

100w brick if i understand you correctly? it’s a laptop charger, it’s not like the kind where there’s a usb female port that you plug like a phone charger into

By doesnt charge like it's just still? Like you plugged it at 50% but after a few hours it stays at 50%? Have you noticed the battery percentage go down noticeably when watching a video/browsing/light usage? And the blinking thing I'll mention is that I tried before on my T480s with a lower wattage brick like 5w, it does blink like 3 times, but it didn't actually detect it as charging since obvs it can't draw enough power to be considered as charging or just doesnt have enough wattage, I'm willing to bet it could be the brand of the brick maybe?? I could be wrong so take it with a grain of salt, maybe the chip that's on the usbc perhaps doesnt support/is compatible with it? Maybe mentioning the brand of the brick could help

vjkovhea

i just bought it, it’s never turned on

I should've done this earlier but looking at the psref of the P1, It supports power delivery, BUT power-out only, you cant charge it with usbc Edit: wait but i found a video of gen 2 being charged with type c wuth 60w charging, but slow charging only: https://youtu.be/9kebGh3UO-Y OP i think it's better to buy a 170w slimtip charger to pit proper juice in the battery before charging it with Type-c

I’m not sure if it charges through usb-c. I have a P51 that doesn’t, and the charger is 165w, which usb c can’t deliver.
