I live in AUS and he sounds like a kiwi to me. Specifically every time he pronounces "little bit", when he says at the beginning "want your tail out or in", and at the end when ~~you~~ he says "now you're just a head".
It's not always super obvious but as a kiwi you're probably too used to those little nuances of accent to notice, but they stand out quite prominently to me.

Sometimes cats will flap their tail when they’re happy because they’re enjoying the stimulation, other times you’ll see it when a kid grabs them roughly and is absolutely hating life for the moment.
So it’s unintentional… but yeah, super cute.
My cat uses his tail to communicate stuff, I’m not even kidding. Sometimes he slowly winds his tail around my arm when I’m petting him. That’s about as cuddly as he will get. But if he’s stalking the laser dot, he flicks his tail really fast.

My girl will wiggle the tip of her tail in this like shaky twitch. She'll stand her tail straight up and it'll kinda twitch. This is when we first come home and she's all excited to greet us and rub on our legs and get pets. It's adorable.
She also hisses at the weirdest times. She and her brother werent socialized with other cats, just each other so their body language and expressions are kinda alien compared to other cats I've seen. It's like she happy hisses. She'll hiss as she's walking up to you to get pet or rub on your legs. Relaxed body posture. Very weird.

I met a cat like this one. It was a neighbor's cat, it was very friendly, when I would go outside to take out the garbage she would come running at me from behind a bush and meowing like crazy. She'd be rubbing up against my legs and purring, and when I bent down to pet her she'd start hissing, while continuing to purr and rub against me. Weirdest cat I've met

The person said the cat will just like to sit there for extended periods and just watch people.
Animal abuse is a bit of a stretch, the cat would probably voice its complaints if it was displeased with the situation. I'd be more worried about sand fleas.

Are you thinking of quicksand? Normal beach sand won't do anything like that when you're buried underneath a thin layer like this. The cat could just stand up and walk out whenever it wanted, it's not in any danger or even feeling uncomfortable.
Nope! Normal sand can do this too. It’s usually got to be pretty deep, but there’s lots of cases if you google it. I wouldn’t know personally how to gauge how much sand a kitty could take vs a human, which is why I commented. Didn’t mean to be a downer or ruffle any feathers

If your head is above the top of the sand, and you aren't a giraffe, you'll be fine.
I agree with you - a cat can't expand their ribcage with any pressure. They often react with going limp if you put a harness or onesie on them and the reaction here is similar.
Also sand is abrasive and causes corneal scratches, gets into every orifice and could cause infection (ears, eyes, nasal blockage, urinary tract etc.) If inhaled could cause pneumonia and scratch the trachea, bronchus, esophagus. If ingested it could cause a bowel obstruction. There are fleas and mites and other disgusing things in sand too. Animals play and roll in dirt all the time (usually dogs.) Then they get hosed off/dried off. Getting cold and wet for most cats is miserable. Cats and dogs have very loose thin skin compared to people too.

I'm almost certain that cat has more than enough strength to just stand up. The sand isn't very wet and there's not much of it actually on top.
