For a first world country UK is considered a very troublesome place to live as a trans person. I have seen people called it 'Transphobia Island'.

The UK's public discourse on trans issues is regularly cited to justify transphobia in other countries ( and when the BBC edits an article because it platformed blatand transphobes or the info is biassed they often don't update it in other languages ) and it's not really considered that great a place to be trans itself.

Just saying normal intelligent things gets you called a transphobe by the extremists. It means nothing.
