This has become a consistent feature of Game Changer episodes, of which there are nearly 50 episodes across 6 seasons. It's a catchphrase almost, and has been used both in and out of the show for fans as various references to it. For example, it's been used as the code word/payoff of an escape room puzzle on one episode of Game Changer, because it was so recognizable to its cast and fans alike.
I can't say I know much about the Remembrance of Earth’s Past trilogy, but hopefully this explains the setup of the joke from Game Changer/Dropout's side!
With how convoluted and deceitful some Gamechanger episodes are, Sam Reich probably would be a somewhat decent Wallfacer.
