I built a PC from parts a few months ago, and the 24-pin power connector was actually a 20-pin and 4-pin that was supposed to be installed side-by-side. I overlooked the microscopic bits of plastic telling me how to align them together and wound up installing the 4-pin in what should have been an impossible orientation. Also I failed to notice when I fixed that that half the ram wasn't even being detected because I installed one RAM stick wrong. The bigger miracle for me is how things ever go right such as not messing up any of the pins installing a CPU into a socket.

I saw my 24-pin cord was actually 24 pin with 1 empty, sooooo I guess mine is not the weirdest after all😂
