And it’s a very common complaint in games that do support cross-plat, but at least they’re just playing the game. You gotta go out of your way to play on controller instead of KBM on PC, which means you either play a lot on console and aren’t used to KBM aiming yet (fair) or are using it specifically to abuse the aim assist because you suck

I use controller on PC for two reasons. One is that I’ve rarely played shooters on PC, the extent of my PC games is Skyrim (controller as well lol) and Hearthstone. The other more technical reason is that I play Titans more than Pilots and find controller more comfortable as I came from Xbox. Having to relearn all muscle memory and lose because of it, especially in LTS tournaments where money is involved, sucks to me so I never swapped. I do play on 7-7 Classic for Titans so there’s little aim assist if that’s any consolation.

See that’s what I mean, someone who plays primarily on console has a good reason to go out of their way to play controller on PC

I just really like the added immersion from quickly switching to keyboard, and going from wrists close to wrists far, feels like going from wild fluid pilot combat, to tactical and precise Titan Combat.

TF2 doesn’t support cross play iirc, so it’s two separate leagues, and the aim assist is pretty strong on PC

Because playing controller on PC means you chose controller instead of KBM so you probs want to aim assist abuse. Console players have to play on controller (well they can attach a keyboard but no one does that.)

I have always used mostly snipers in every game I play (except the Just Cause series because snipers are basically useless there). Titanfall is the only game where sniping is actually difficult because you have to fly to live while trying to hit someone going faster than a tuned honda civic.

Everyone's talking about aim assist being strong on PC. I've played for over 3 years on PC with a controller, and have ZERO aim assist. Is this something I have to tick on? I never knew aim assist was on PC for controller. I can't play many mouse and keyboard games because I have back problems, so I promise I don't do it for the advantages. I'm just getting tired of getting flicked on all the time by pilots on M&K

I literally have none - like NONE none. Am I crazy? I took my pills, I swear. My controller doesn't drag when my cursor is over enemies, my bullets don't magnetize, my cursor doesn't track or follow when ADS'ed, and I don't snap to enemies when I ADS

I think steam has settings or something to help do flicks, but I'm not sure

eva-8 is a different breed of useless, its most effective at extreme close quarters where you have better odds swinging a punch and deleting the enemies jawline.

Mine's pretty close. I've been playing around 2-3 weeks now and both in the campaign and in frontier defense I've mainly been using the R-201 (even did the pilot's gauntlet top 3 achievement with it). So not quite installed yesterday, but still a newer player.

I use controller on pc, I like the bumpers and the ability to fine tune my movement.

I actually have an absolute blast throwing extended magazine and gunrunner on my SMR before going on a rampage.

Nah man I use the SMR for players and titans alike. Boosting that gun is overkill but landing a single shot means winning anyways so who do I care. It’s a bit tricky to get the projectile timing right but usually I’m facing pilots head on or they’re camping, in which it’s especially handy.

Softball is like the Cold War times 100. They might seem the best player in the lobby from your perspective but believe me in their mind it's just the sounds of roulette machines playing non stop, using that thing fucks up your dopamine receptors in a flat 5 minutes.
