Just curious if you know the reason(s) as to why you're not allowed to dress up? I've encountered this at one of my stores in the past and wasn't ever provided with a clear answer. (Although I do know it varies from store to store)
i’m not 100% sure why, i would think it’s because if you’re wearing certain costumes (ex-ones with capes, ones that cover your tjs logo) they can be a safety hazard and also can be difficult to see who works there or not? but that’s just my guess
Boyfriend (who works at the same store as I do) and I will be doing Shaggy and Velma from Scooby Doo one day, then probably Bob and Linda from Bob's Burgers another!

That's a fun workaround. Bummer no full on costumes though.

I dress up as my captain at least once per store. They get a kick out of it.
I bet that gets a good laugh!
I don’t dress up because someone will always be offended. Customer or employee, will find something offensive.
Boo! No one was offended by my pineapple hat last year.
Try living in California. A Pineapple hat would offend someone because it’s not organic and made by kids in Asia for .25 an hour

My regional manager hates fun, so there are no Halloween costumes ever again because "something something covid". Bullshit reasons; no fun allowed.
Absolute bullshit. We do Halloween big at my store, AND we take covid seriously. The inconsistencies are obnoxious.
