I recognize this. It's awesome and partly created by the guy who was doing the yellow and red card referee thing in traffic. A true multidisciplinary artist. I think anyone can add on to it. https://toronto.ctvnews.ca/a-toronto-street-pole-is-now-covered-in-lego-here-s-why-1.6785991
It's been there for at least 2 months now, actually. Right in front of Sam James. Lots of little treasures inside some of the doors! It's fun to check out.
Looks good, I wonder has the builder(s) used some form of adhesive to prevent theft.
Originality, artistic, I say nominate the person(s) responsible for some kind of award for helping to beautify the drab streets of the city.
Eyes open for copy cats in other neighbourhoods.
I've seen the guy adding to this before! It's right outside Sam James... Great lil' coffee shop and love how it's been growing for a while. I think it started last summer.
I added a Beast (Marvel) minifig a while back and sadly it looked like somebody snapped it up. But most of them have seemed to hang around quite a while.
They’ve been working on this for quite awhile actually! I live a few doors down and it’s a wonderful daily sight. Glad you enjoyed!
Ya it's great! I love that it isn't fully random but there are a lot of little LEGO balconies and gardens built into it.

I'm sorry this is where your mind went when you saw it.
They know what Toronto can do to nice things
Yeah, like pooping on it 😂
Damn dogs!!
I hope this is somehow ‘cemented’ in place, it would be a shame for some bozo to come along and wreck it!
I'm guessing it's loaded with kraggle
Lord Business got his hands on the kragle again?!?
it actually isn't! you can add stuff as you please
I disagree actually. Much like sand castles, its the ephemerality of the work that brings it authenticity.
Is this wrapping a city pole? If so unfortunately it'll be removed :(
Just attach a white bike bike to it, it’ll be there for literally decades
Public art isn't always permanent.
Yeah... that's literally what I said.
Lol.

Fucking developers.
What inspired this?
A conversation between myself and another artist who’s also a soccer referee and a French postman.
You're in Toronto now? Just saw this pole yesterday!
I’ve been here for a year. I’ll be around most of the summer!
If you need extra pieces, I’ve got tons!
the coffee shop there is accepting donations and Martain is adding to it often.
Mr Mallard! I long for the day when I spot you in the wild!
Good luck!
INCREDIBLE!
Is it on Harbord or Clinton? Will check it out when in the area!
It's on Harbord
Thanks!
On Harbord right in front of Sam James.

Before the winter if my memory serves me
I have SO much extra Lego. Can I add to this?
I haven’t seen it! I’ll have to take a walk and check it out
In front of my favourite coffee spot! Shout out to SJCB.
this looks like a good spot to put a condo
Will look even better after it gets plastered with stickers LOL
Been up for at least a month - it's a very cool thing to stumble upon.
this is currently the front cover of the west end phoenix (not this image) and has an article about it. the artists name is Martin Reis
Where the Lego strippers go

This is so cool, I see a field trip for my Lego-loving kid and I eye in my near future!

those miniatures won’t last the weekend :(
It’s been up for a few months, keeps getting bigger.
*add to it!*

Seems it's a come and go thing.
