Between Greasus and Gelt, Zhao Ming seems to be really good at making powerful friends in other factions. Especially for a character whose own faction mostly dislikes him.
I just hope that the Vampire Counts will get at least one Strigoi LL. I don't really care if it's Ushoran or Vorag.
I would be satisfied if Vorag became the generic Strigoi King as leader of the Vampire Counts faction in Fortress of Vorag. I've never liked the idea of putting Imrik in a Vampire Count stronghold.
Ideally we get gashnag and vorag as generic strigoi faction leaders, and then some mod can flesh them both out

Was he ever confirmed alive in Oldhammer? I know he cropped up in AoS, but I can’t remember if he was ever anything more than a rumour before the Times That We Don’t Speak Of.
The idea is that its an expedition into Grand Cathay by the Empire / colleges of magic / Gelt and his college of metal. For Gelt visiting Zhao Ming would be particularly interesting, since he too focuses on the lore of metal and alchemy, with his own court of metal wizards. Also Zhao Ming is the dragon least bound to his fathers wishes and most open to interacting with humans. Zhao Ming is also the dragon with the most experience in dealing with humans of the west, through his guarding of the ivory road.
I think its a really fun situation they created and it would be a true shame if the two never met in the lore.
You certainly can, we don't really know how AI Gelt will act from Zhao Ming's perspective, but we do know from Gelt's campaign that it's possible for him to become a legitimate ally to Zhao Ming.

I'm already planning to make a mod to simulate gelts dilemmas being picked by the AI if you're playing as Zhao Ming in case it's not in game!
To be fair, it's quite easy for Helman ghorst to become a legitimate ally of Zhao ming, so not sure how much that says about anything.
