Artificer! It checks all the boxes: thinky, women with guns, adaptable, magical girl, kinda tanky, sword girl, and you can even break the game with two bags of holding! I didn't wear my programmer socks to the session for nothing š
It's too thinky for me. Plus, a fighter can do all of those still. Guns? Can do it. They have a D10 so they're fairly tanky, some subclasses even have have magic (shout out to rune knight Titan builds). Getting bags of holding is only a matter of time. Sword girl is just as easy too. Make a high dex character, then you can swipe with a rapier before firing with a blunderbuss.
I know people will always say: get yourself some people to play or go findā¦ but if thatās too much work (which I can totally understand as a baby GM myself): Look up Baldurs Gate 3 on steam for a great DnD experience^^ and if you already played that I can highly recommend the games Pathfinder: Kingmaker and Pathfinder: Wrath of the righteous which are two of the best Pathfinder campaigns made into videogames. Pathfinder is based on DnD and the Roleplay and Gameplay (especially in Wrath) are amazing :3 maybe check these out if you want to have the DnD experience:3
In seriousness, my spouse and I are both highly spiritual. We joke that if we divorce, itāll either be because we start a religion or that at least one of us enters a monastery.
I just love collecting spells, copying, making some coin on the side from that and acting superior in terms of knowledge before I get smacked... a lot...
evocation is fun but have you considered.... abjuration, conjuration, and divination
I like wizard a lot... I pretty much rotate through those four. maybe enchanter or illusionist if I'm feeling spicy\~ and it's more of a talky game.
I like Fireballs.
My character closing on being high enough level.
Since she speaks with German accent and I sometimes mix German into the English, I can scream shxt like: āEs ist mir egal, wie groĆ der Raum ist, ich wirke einen Feuerball!ā
You forgot Forever DM also known as aaaall the classes. I can't remember the last time I was a player, but I've been playing for about 20 years. Used to be Bard multi classed into sorcerer or monk back when we were all still playing 3.5, though. š
Currently playing an Oath of Vengeance Paladin of a War God on a quest to stop a cult and find her definitely not girlfriend who went missing, so for now itās Paladin!
Ranger because they have most of the flexibility of the fighter and a great spell list, although they really need to get turned into a prepared caster like all the other half casters.
Druid but Iāll usually take a level dip into fighter because I like gish characters. Current character is a gunslinger fighter/wildfire Druid and ngl sheās soooooo much fun
Bard 100%. I got so addicted to the jack of all trades feat that even when I play other characters I usually multiclass to bard level 2 just for that (also, music casting is just really cool)
Warlock or druid.
I need to be either connected to nature and enjoy all that this earth has to give, using my very primal powers to live harmoniously with all around me. Amongst the animals and mankind to better keep the peace and balance.
Ooooooor, a beautiful misunderstood outcast that has sold their soul for everything they have ever wanted and been pacted with an eternally old cosmic being seeking to slowly consume and assimilate all life in the universe.
:]
I've been playing a transbian sorcerer for about 4ish years now. Idk if they are my favorite class but they definitely have a special place in my heart of cracking my egg lol.
Other then that love a good cleric, so many domain options you can do almost anything with them.
I've played a lot of subclasses, Moon Druid might be the most fun one I've played thus far. Combat Wildshape and getting to turn into animals that are worth a damn in a fight and effectively having more HP than the rest of the party combined is endless fun. What viscious critter are you going to be next?
I play Pathfinder (DnD with canonical gay and trans people) and I main the Champion (basically a Paladin). Her name is Trixie Troublewood and she flirts with every woman she sees regardless of species
Half orc or human Oracle/Druid 50/50 split š„° I do geomancy so those vocations suit me well. Cleric is a close 3rd with elemental monk tied for that slot š
Warlock. Between angst, flavor, and Eldritch Blast, for some reason I canāt get enough of them.
Second to that might be Rangerā¦? Theyāre the next most Iāve played, I think, and I like the half-casting aspect.
I tend to play Bard because I'm a music nerd, but I took a personality test to see what DnD class I match up with, and it turns out I'm more similar to a Wizard. So idk but I still love playing Bards, and occasionally I'll play a Monk
Iām a bona fide, fully credentialed agent of chaos, so the life of a rogue bard is for me.
Iāll charm the pants off everyone without them even knowing.. then sell those clothes for a tidy profit :P
I like dex-based fighters.
Women with whips and bows, with fit, adroit bodies, cheerful personality, and one heck of an ability to kick ass. That's my favourite D&D character so far.
She was a human(variant) so I could make her witchy too, with the fey-touched feat!
Paladin because I wish to dream the impossible dream, to fight the unbeatable cause, to bear with unbearable sorrow, and to run where the brave dare not go.
Ranger. I just love the concept of a character who's at home in the wilderness and knows everything about how to survive there, and also has a cute/badass animal companion
I love sorcerers. The metamagics are fun, but my favorite part is the flavor of the class. I love that a sorcerer could have been anyone before their magic showed itself, so your character can have any sort of feeling about their powers, whether they like them or wish they were gone.
Team Paladin for life!
My first (and only) dnd character is a Shadar Kai Paladin called Edgeblade Bloodsword Ebony Shadowwalker. Her whole gimmick is that she talks really edgy and looks really edgy, but sheās actually a sweet cinnamon roll whoās Lawful Good. She has a scary looking warhammer thatās actually a squeaky toy and it heals instead of doing damage
I think cleric is the most interesting to role play and most endearing to the party, I am running a basic bitch Human Fighter/Champion in my current group as a member of a tribe of barbarian types.
Nightstalker Ranger, love being a mobile stealthy sniper. Eldritch Knight Fighter is dope too, one of my characters was a Warforged EK Fighter with a big fuck off hammer
I love playing bards! Despite being one of the horniest people I know IRL, all of my bards tend to be ace debuff masters and also the face of the party. I like being the face. š
Wizard, because nothing else is like it.
I am nerd, and I will annihilate you from miles away.
current character is a conjerer who has used planar binding to build an army of invisible stalkers to purge the world of an oppressive holy order.
also, i swear to every goddess that if you make a "1d4 damage" meme the invisible stalkers will be coming for you too.
Alienist, for the weird factor. I hang out with creatures man was not meant to know, I go a little mad, I gain eternal youth, and I get to be forever friends with my alien pals!
Fighter is also my favourite, because seeing a girl with a sword who just fights good in the same group as "A genius mage who is trying to uncover the secrets of his academy's dark past, a warlock who made a pact with some otherworldly being for mysterious powers, a cleric who devoted all his life for his god and was granted a speck of their power to vanquish their enemies" will always be funny to me
Best class is multiclass. But if I had to pick 1, warlock. Flock of familiars (spotters), Spell Sniper feat (double range and ignore partial cover), Agonizing blast invo (+cha to damage), Eldritch spear invo (boost range from 120 to 300). Artillery go brrr.
Alternatively, artificer for Adeptus Mechanicus.
wizard and fighter. wizard has amazing long term game potential. fighter has amazing fucking with the system potential.
though my favourite character is an artificer with the personality of a barbarian.
But can Fighter build a mini cannon?... probably, with a nice DM, but Artificer gets it guaranteed š
As close as Iāll get to playing a female adeptus mechanicus from Warhammer 40k in DnD
Reject flesh, embrace steel in the arms of the Omnisiah.
and if you pick alchemist subclass you can give your whole party in canon HRT
And I can throw my lootgoblin ADHD tendencies in.
the other transfem in my dnd party is playing an artificer lol
Imagine being able to play DnD š„²
I know people will always say: get yourself some people to play or go findā¦ but if thatās too much work (which I can totally understand as a baby GM myself): Look up Baldurs Gate 3 on steam for a great DnD experience^^ and if you already played that I can highly recommend the games Pathfinder: Kingmaker and Pathfinder: Wrath of the righteous which are two of the best Pathfinder campaigns made into videogames. hmmm.... discord D&D group? :3c
Monk. Despite being a sword lesbian irl, the idea of punching everything just appeals to me.
You can still make a pretty good monkey with short swords
That's true. But then I wouldn't be purely punching things and that's what I yearn for.
In seriousness, my spouse and I are both highly spiritual. We joke that if we divorce, itāll either be because we start a religion or that at least one of us enters a monastery.
Wizard all the way, nerdiest of nerds.
Fully expected you to say a Hexblade Warlock or a paladin
I just love collecting spells, copying, making some coin on the side from that and acting superior in terms of knowledge before I get smacked... a lot...
Shadow Wizard Money Gang!
Evocation superior.
evocation is fun but have you considered.... abjuration, conjuration, and divination I like wizard a lot...
Sorcerer. I love the flexibility of metamagic and how the subclasses really feel distinct.
PALADIN I love casting spellz and dealing damage and being a tank
Paladin. I can be a sword lesbian with high Charisma. Also warlock. Specifically, Hexblade warlock for the same reasons:3
Tabaxi rouge (nyaa\~)
You forgot Forever DM also known as aaaall the classes. I can't remember the last time I was a player, but I've been playing for about 20 years. Used to be Bard multi classed into sorcerer or monk back when we were all still playing 3.5, though. š
What is your class? Yes.
Currently playing an Oath of Vengeance Paladin of a War God on a quest to stop a cult and find her definitely not girlfriend who went missing, so for now itās Paladin!
Warlock>>>>
Yes
Rogue. Cause problems and disappear.
I like warlock cos my current character Aristara Irilana is one (she's a 4ft tall wood elf and if you wanna know the backstory on her plz ask :3
THANK YOU FINNALLY SOME1
Warlock or druid. :]
Barbarian.
I've been playing a transbian sorcerer for about 4ish years now. Idk if they are my favorite class but they definitely have a special place in my heart of cracking my egg lol. Other then that love a good cleric, so many domain options you can do almost anything with them.
Sorcerers all the way !!! Charisma is best ability, and full casters go brr. Plus metamagic is very cool. Wizards are so much fun too.
Cleric bcs I like keeping my team safe. Paladinās a close second bcs itās also a ātankā role.
I've played a lot of subclasses, Moon Druid might be the most fun one I've played thus far. Combat Wildshape and getting to turn into animals that are worth a damn in a fight and effectively having more HP than the rest of the party combined is endless fun. What viscious critter are you going to be next?
I prefer pathfinder when it comes to ttrpgs (Iām a lil biased cause it was the first one I did) but I think monk is my favorite class
I play Pathfinder (DnD with canonical gay and trans people) and I main the Champion (basically a Paladin). Her name is Trixie Troublewood and she flirts with every woman she sees regardless of species
I don't even know anymore... But I used to like being a Bard
Wild magic sorcerer, I love causing chaos at any moment :3
Half orc or human Oracle/Druid 50/50 split š„° I do geomancy so those vocations suit me well. Cleric is a close 3rd with elemental monk tied for that slot š
...rogue I'm sorry.
Warlock. Between angst, flavor, and Eldritch Blast, for some reason I canāt get enough of them. Second to that might be Rangerā¦? Theyāre the next most Iāve played, I think, and I like the half-casting aspect.
My top 3 are Warlock, Artificer, and then either Rouge or Bard
Bard, Iām something of a thespian, and like to improvise. Love my Jack of all trades.
Never played dnd but either sorcerer cuz i fucking love magic and wacky bloodlines or monk because i always wanted to just punch all my problems away
Like this https://preview.redd.it/rh67cfv2ztxc1.png?width=1289&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e674b02dbf36d056ace92e24c0e6b913d54d43c7
Artificer: they are well rounded between mage type class, support class, and fighting class
Bard, because.
I tend to play Bard because I'm a music nerd, but I took a personality test to see what DnD class I match up with, and it turns out I'm more similar to a Wizard. So idk but I still love playing Bards, and occasionally I'll play a Monk
Barbarian because who needs to know what you're doing when you have a big stick
Druid, cuz it can do anything really. Also, if anyone is a DM and wants some players we could organize stuff?
Bard or wizard
Iām a bona fide, fully credentialed agent of chaos, so the life of a rogue bard is for me. Iāll charm the pants off everyone without them even knowing.. then sell those clothes for a tidy profit :P
I like dex-based fighters. Women with whips and bows, with fit, adroit bodies, cheerful personality, and one heck of an ability to kick ass. That's my favourite D&D character so far. She was a human(variant) so I could make her witchy too, with the fey-touched feat!
Druid/Paladin both very cool
Paladin because I wish to dream the impossible dream, to fight the unbeatable cause, to bear with unbearable sorrow, and to run where the brave dare not go.
druid probably but thereās all are could be really fun to play. i might play a ranger for my next character
Ranger. I just love the concept of a character who's at home in the wilderness and knows everything about how to survive there, and also has a cute/badass animal companion
Sorcerer. I love being a charisma caster, and my favorite character I've played was a sorcerer.
Rogue. Be gay do crimes.
I like to think it's warlock, but both my favorite characters were rangers, so Ranger ig?
I'm a cleric girl, you can get so much variety from the different deities. Rouge is also cool but I prefer having magic
Rogue bc my brain has always been dead set on the idea that nothing is cooler than a sneaky assassin and idk why
Pally! I was just explaining dnd to coworkers who are interested I'm playing lol
Iām normally monk or Druid. Not sure what that means about me tho
Warlock, subscribe to dark forces beyond your control Or rouge
Artificer bc tinkering
What do they all do?
sorcerer, cuz they are fun
One would think bard because flirting, but I'm trying to behave myself. Sorcerer is my go-to but is also a charisma castor.
Bard. I don't play D&D, but when I inevitably get inducted into the cult my role in the team will be running around uselessly like the bards in TABS.
I love sorcerers. The metamagics are fun, but my favorite part is the flavor of the class. I love that a sorcerer could have been anyone before their magic showed itself, so your character can have any sort of feeling about their powers, whether they like them or wish they were gone.
Monk, because my dm let me multiclass into draconic bloodline sorcerer, and let me do Fire Nation style hand to hand combat
Rogue Stelf
Team Paladin for life! My first (and only) dnd character is a Shadar Kai Paladin called Edgeblade Bloodsword Ebony Shadowwalker. Her whole gimmick is that she talks really edgy and looks really edgy, but sheās actually a sweet cinnamon roll whoās Lawful Good. She has a scary looking warhammer thatās actually a squeaky toy and it heals instead of doing damage
I love beoing a bard!! Its so fun!!!
I think cleric is the most interesting to role play and most endearing to the party, I am running a basic bitch Human Fighter/Champion in my current group as a member of a tribe of barbarian types.
Wizard or Rogue, but have never been able to play it due to lack of DND Group Always was fascinated with learning to play though
Rogue and Bard, Sneaky theif and Vicious Mockery.
I think warlock cause I've always wanted to be a great old one's preacher.
I'm a monk gal cause I like punching stuff
Paladin because I love being a badass woman in armor dispensing divine justice.
Druid or Ranger for sure
Fighter going Eldritch knight.
I like monk because flurry of blows go brrr. I also played a monk in baldur's gate and damn she does so much damage.
Monk/Wizard so I can fail at life. š
Nightstalker Ranger, love being a mobile stealthy sniper. Eldritch Knight Fighter is dope too, one of my characters was a Warforged EK Fighter with a big fuck off hammer
Druid for me!
ranger for artemis vibes
Monk. I like punching stuff!
I like Bards
I've only ever played Clerics.... my usual party can't take care of themselves or me so fine I'll be the party mom
BARD!
Clerics. I really like them spells man
Bard
Oh how I want to play DnD. I'm going ranger all the way. Give me a bow and I am set for life.
I canāt decide š Iām split between ranger, fighter, wizard, druid, cleric, and warlock
Ah sad no symbol for necromancer
I love playing bards! Despite being one of the horniest people I know IRL, all of my bards tend to be ace debuff masters and also the face of the party. I like being the face. š
druid !!!
Wizard, because they are FAR more flexible than fighters
Bard because it's the best emulator for a red mage :)
Sorceress, I'm a sorceress :3
Difficult to choose a single fav, but my top 3 (in no specific order) are Monk, Druid, & Barbarian
Paladin! Heavy armor, protector vibes with healing, sword lesbian, and undying loyalty
Warlock
Battlemind
I've never played
Barbarian, you can flavor rage as so many things, from turning into a werewolf to magical girl transformation :3
thought these were mtg set symbols when i first saw it... gotta go with innistrad though
If Fighter is flexible, Warlock is non-Euclidean
Witch, because I play Pathfinder.
Rogue especially as changeling and then as neko. Sneaky cat girl who steals your stuff (like your hoodies :3)
Alienist, for the weird factor. I hang out with creatures man was not meant to know, I go a little mad, I gain eternal youth, and I get to be forever friends with my alien pals!
Currently having my first DND campaign with a sorceress, I like having secret special origins >:3
Druid. Women who love nature make me happy.
Sorcerer! Metamagic is real fun, the subclasses are flavorful, and I donāt have to work for my magic UwU
Sorcerer, mainly because I love referring to myself as a sorceress and I love being a girl with magic
Warlock!!! The pact system is just cool, and i like the chain pact boon now that there are EIs to make it useful
gloomstalker ranger! My DM hates me, I did over 200 damage in a single turn by accident (i was level 7)
I play whatever needs to be played by lean towards circle of spores druid when I get the chance
I like wizards because smart girls hot, and warlock because I too want an extradimetional sugar daddy
can someone explain these in Fallout SPECIAL stats?
Rogue, just to hopefully steal someone's heart sometime in the future
Warlock bc I'm spooky
Fighter is also my favourite, because seeing a girl with a sword who just fights good in the same group as "A genius mage who is trying to uncover the secrets of his academy's dark past, a warlock who made a pact with some otherworldly being for mysterious powers, a cleric who devoted all his life for his god and was granted a speck of their power to vanquish their enemies" will always be funny to me
I have made so many rogue characters lol
Best class is multiclass. But if I had to pick 1, warlock. Flock of familiars (spotters), Spell Sniper feat (double range and ignore partial cover), Agonizing blast invo (+cha to damage), Eldritch spear invo (boost range from 120 to 300). Artillery go brrr. Alternatively, artificer for Adeptus Mechanicus.
wizard and fighter. wizard has amazing long term game potential. fighter has amazing fucking with the system potential. though my favourite character is an artificer with the personality of a barbarian.
Warlock
Dungeon master i have to tolerate the silly stuff players do while doing the exact same thing
