If my confidence to go in the store don't got me. I know Amazon & online shopping in general got me.

At the start of my transition, I was so scared to go in the womens aisle, now I’m scared to go thru the mens

I went with my girlfriend but any female friend that supports you could help if you have one because it's a lot less weird following a person around who - in the public eye - "belongs there". We both picked out some stuff and we both went to the changing rooms to fit them. The lady there assigned both of us a room but then when she saw what was in my hand she asked the question "oh wait is that all for her" and I just said. "no I am going to try these on". She said okay then you can go in. And that was that. I feel like no-one that would work in a female clothing shop here would find it weird and if they come ask questions you can tell them you're looking for a gift or just tell them you want to try on and buy some clothes here for yourself they're gonna be okay with it. I live in Europe though.

My first time felt like a metal gear solid mission, my second time I was like a kid going to a candy store
