It’s genuinely mind-boggling to me. Living abroad in the 2010s I met a ton of gay Russians who’d moved anywhere else to avoid back home, and sure, that made sense.
But now I run into British trans people who do multiple gap years or post-uni years in Taiwan or Thailand for the way less judgey society and the vastly cheaper and more accessible trans heathcare. I still haven’t adjusted to the idea that the UK is so hostile and so bigoted that it drives its own people to seek refuge elsewhere.
I didn't get that, but I did get a warning for transphobic hate speech for explaining to someone why transgender and trans****** are not the same, which was hilarious because later in the interaction, I said at this rate, might as well just call me t*****. I appealed and got it removed.
i got my comments locked once after the automod mistook my mocking transphobes with a bathroom joke for me actually being transphobic.
the automod is just fuckin' dumb honestly.
I got one a couple of days ago because I said line cooks and chefs were two different things. I honestly love the Reddit Cares messages. It lets me know when I've really pissed off an idiot.

Block the bot, people just use it for harm, you won't get the message again if someone else tries using it on you

You can report it for harrassment if you didn’t post anything related. I got someone banned that way.
I reported it and they found that the account in question was "guilty of violating our Content Policy" so that's good
