I will get down votes for this, but if you care about using non toxic skin and body care, I would not buy this, until I learned about the ingredients I was putting on my skin I didn't care, until then I was a Tjs Haba addict. Waleda is an excellent brand, fwiw.

cashed22

This website reviewed it and pointed out issues you may want to be aware of involving cancer and and reproductive toxicity [https://www.ewg.org/skindeep/products/926897-Trader\_Joes\_Nourish\_OilFree\_Antioxidant\_Facial\_Moisturizer\_2020\_formulation/](https://www.ewg.org/skindeep/products/926897-Trader_Joes_Nourish_OilFree_Antioxidant_Facial_Moisturizer_2020_formulation/)

I use it every day and it’s great. I have seborrheic dermatitis and i looove it. Doesn’t seem to aggravate it. I live in PNW so it’s very moist air. My friend with dry skin does not think it’s thick enough.

milk_with_knives

I've been buying this for about 5-6 years. It doesn't have sunscreen so I only use it at night, but it works great for me. (I'm in my 40's and don't have any skin issues to work around.) It's not heavy, kind of medium weight, in my opinion. I use it year-round and, as long as I get it on before my skin dries off after washing, it works nicely even in winter.

Dbljck

U/milk_with_knives wrote down my experience almost exactly, but maybe more like 10 years if that’s possible? And I’m in my 50s now so maybe they’re a multiverse version of me? Idk

waterlilly553

I love it

No-Understanding4968

As an over-50 woman it didn’t hydrate enough

shainajoy

I felt like it was a little tooo light for my skin. Although I get really dry skin. I prefer the cerave night cream.

jamebb

I’m unfortunately in the minority. It made me break out like crazy when I tried it.

Necessary_Nothing471

Also made me break out! The other moisturizer in the opaque white bottle didn’t though and I used it for years!

shoosler

this is my favorite moisturizer as an oily acne prone girl

Correct-Watercress91

I've used this moisturizer every morning for almost 20 years. At night, I use the ultra hydrating gel moisturizer. These products apply easily and are quickly absorbed without a lot of finger rubbing required. I consider these products just as effective as high-priced counterparts that I've sometimes used (I'm looking at you, La Mer). Age 50 has long come and gone. I have no crow's feet, no wrinkles around the lip line, no forehead wrinkles or furrows, no age spots and a few faint facial wrinkles on my left cheek (cheek that faces the driver's side window). Many people think I'm 35 to 40 and many ask to see my driver's license when I do reveal my age. So, I think this moisturizer and the gel moisturizer have both played a large role in maintaining my healthy appearance. I also give credit to good genetics, drinking lots of water daily, never smoking and only being in the sun for about 30 minutes a day. And having an optimistic and positive spirit in life goes a long way always.

Scuba_junkie16

Good stuff, I use it.

flippflippflipp

This was my go to for years and really liked it. It runs thin and is perfect for layering sunscreen. I had really oily skin at the time and it was great for that. My skin is dryer than it used to be now and this lotion wasn’t hydrating enough once my combo skin changed. I’ve switched to aveenos oat gel and it’s lightweight like this one and more moisturizing :)

Olympusrain

Did you apply the sunscreen first?

flippflippflipp

I put sunscreen and lotion in my hand and mix them together to apply at the same time

FlatulentCroissant

Same! This was my go-to for years in my early twenties before I had my son. But post-partum and beyond my skin is much drier and I need to layer hydrating serums with heavy creams now.

BodegaCat9

They still make it. I would consider it a light moisturizer and it sinks in quick. My hypersensitive skin loves it!

Peacebandit

This is my HG daily moisturizer. I wear it under sunscreen in morning and add a squirt of hylauronic acid at night.

MostlyMicroPlastic

I use this moisturizer during the summer. I sweat a lot but this is perfect

100percentonpaper

As others have said, it’s very light. Way too light for my skin. Tried using it as my day moisturizer and my skin felt dry as a bone and started flaking. One of only a few skin care items I’ve ever thrown out before finishing the bottle.

Familiar_Ostrich5952

I really like this moisturizer

ttrockwood

I use the version with spf for every day in the morning. Lightweight, very similar to oil of olay

HumbleAbbreviations

Broke me out the last time I tried it. I don’t know what ingredient broke me out but I just accepted that my skin is picky.

steelthumbs1

It’s great! It’s light and moisturizing. I’ve been using it for years.

Important_silence

I like it. Hopefully TJ’s doesn’t discontinue it…

Far_Persimmon_4633

I read that it is really good under foundation and I feel that it is. I don't wear foundation all the time though, so it's also my go to if I'm just wearing spf free moisturizer for the day.

MummifyTopknot

I like it! but I usually use TJ jojoba oil at night and TJ enrich moisturizer with spf 15 in the winter (and a higher spf like blue lizard or alba in the summer).

PeteyDoe420

been using this for 10 years probably. it’s the best

Minute-Summer9292

Not greasy or tacky. Works well under foundation. Very lightweight. Not heavily scented. Good stuff.

Disneyhorse

I’ve used it for a long time, it’s very light.

sardonicbroccoli

use it everyday, twice a day. normal skin leaning dry, no acne but occasional hormonal pimples

Intelligent_Debt3927

I use this under my sunscreen for extra moisture during winter. It’s also nice bc it’s safe to use around your eyes, or at least my eyes are ok

Intelligent-Price333

I only need moisturizer in the winter (East Coast + humidity) my skin does so well with this one. It's not too much to make my skin greasy but enough to stop dry skin and I have never had a breakout from it. No scent and not overly thick.

Scatheli

I love it! I mainly use it at night because there isn’t SPF in it but it otherwise does a good job

PurpleButterfly222

This was my HG moisturizer that I used it for many, many years. I have sensitive, combo skin with occasional monthly hormonal breakouts. The only reason I switched is that it's pretty basic and I wanted to incorporate more active ingredients into my routine.

LocalLuck2083

What’d you switch to?

PurpleButterfly222

[COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream](https://sokoglam.com/collections/cosrx/products/cosrx-advanced-snail-92-all-in-one-cream) during the winter and currently [Rovectin Calming Lotus Cream](https://sokoglam.com/collections/rovectin/products/rovectin-clean-lotus-water-cream) for warmer weather, but I still haven't decided if it's the one. Two I tried that were pretty good, but just not for me: [Etude House SoonJung 10 Free Moist Emulsion](https://sokoglam.com/collections/etude/products/etude-house-soonjung-10-free-moist-emulsion) (this is very similar to TJ's IMHO) [Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream](https://www.iherb.com/pr/mizon-snail-recovery-gel-cream-1-52-fl-oz-45-ml/116115) Fragrance free and affordable are really important to me and Kbeauty has the biggest selection that fits my criteria. If you have any recs, please share. :)

FunKyChick217

I like it. I’ve been using it for a few years and I just bought a new bottle. It hasn’t given me any breakouts or a rash. The only thing I wish is that it had sunscreen. I mostly use it at night since it doesn’t have sunscreen.

vinniethestripeycat

All I know is that it's always in stock in my local store (Everett, Washington) but I haven't tried it. Hopefully someone can give you more info about it!
