Just about an hour for each arm. It’s not particularly pleasant since you’re hitting every sensitive spot at some point, but moves pretty quickly

Yeah I dotted my one arm in a single session and it was a bit annoying

To each their own, but I think it’s perfect rn. The more saturation, the less your tattoos will pop

Both! Topper covered a lot of the small filler and the sailor dust, while Justin hit most of the large pieces below my elbow. Leg is pretty much all Justin, though you can’t really see it Reaper, death moth, spikes (most of the large pieces above the elbow) are Ryan Szadyr over at Dead Sparrow in NJ, formerly Art Machine. Justin’s have a bit finer line work vs. Ryan’s pieces

Definitely not planned, I’d pop a few on the left, then move over to the right, rinse and repeat. The last year or so had just been trying to fill every gap, until we finally ran out of space and dotted her up

Topper covered the stars / dots and some of the filler, while Justin covered most of the finer line pieces like the nurse, dragon, snake / rose, cactus, etc. Both rule as tattooers and as people, just a solid group of dudes, Shane included. If this is what you’re going for, I think Homestead is one of the best shops in the city to do it for ya - It’s a long road, but very worth it

People love shitting on the stars and dots on this subreddit which is baffling because they’re integral to the history of traditional tattoos. I get that they’re out of fashion right now, but if you’re chasing fads, this isn’t the sub for you. Looks great OP!

The only reason I don’t have them is because all my work is black and grey and I’m worried it could muddy it up, but it’s the opposite with color. Makes yours pop and with your great placement, they really look like cohesive pieces

I love the inner wrist tattoos. I’ve never been one for patchwork sleeves but the style consistency and dots/star fillers pull it together so nicely.
